Experiencia fantástica: I had rotator cuff/bicep tenodesis surgery, and never having used physical therapy, I suggested Athletico to my surgeon. He quickly agreed this would be a great choice for my PT. (My husband had been directed to Darcie by his back doctor, and he was very happy with his results.) Darcie was always helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable about what my shoulder needed to heal. It took a long time to loosen up, but with a lot of strength and flexibility work, it is almost back to regular use. (I'm still working on it at home.) Darcie would use each appointment to assess what was needed to move forward. Her office is very congenial, Adam and Taylor always welcoming, and I looked forward to my visits. My recovery was made possible by Darcie, she's who to see if you need PT!

I honestly would come in every day just to enjoy the friendly and relaxed atmosphere that they've cultivated. Still, Darcie and Adam were very very very very helpful in determining what I needed to work on and the exercises that would work best for me. They, and everyone else who works here, helped my back get to a much better place than it had been in a very long time. If you're in need of physical therapy go here.

Experiencia fantástica: I was recovering from a concussion due to an injury at work and was in a dark, low point. I Felt like i would never recover. I came into Athletico and couldnt even walk without feel dizzy or symptoms. A month later i left feeling back to my normal self and was able to run, lift weights, and play basketball again. They have an awesome team that really reinforced my spirit and helped me stay positive through the whole process. They will challenge you physically and mentally but you have to trust the process. I wouldnt have gotten back to normal without them.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience working with Adam and crew for my knee and back. The exercises and therapy help me regain my strength and balance for going up and down stairs and stand from a seated position. Just being able to do those simple tasks again motivated me to continue doing more with Adam to look forward to hiking the redwoods with my son.

Experiencia fantástica: Such a wonderful place and welcoming environment! I had no idea what to expect doing physical therapy but Adam was great! He got me to where I want to be and is always willing to help with any concerns or questions! Darcie and Taylor always have a smile on and are very welcoming as well! 10/10 recommend if you’re needing physical therapy and I will be returning if I have any future needs!

Due to ongoing knee injuries, I had alot of hesitation and fear about doing anything requiring me to bend my knee because it would cause my knee cap to dislocate. Adam helped me physically but more importantly mentally get over that fear and hurdle so I could return to work and continue with everyday living. I am very grateful for all of their help and would recommend this location!

Experiencia fantástica: I had various knee issues and just prior to surgery asked my attending RN if she had thought about follow up therapy. She said she had 5 previous surgeries (she was a D-1 volleyball player) and she said Darcy at Athletico East. I took her advice and am glad I did. Darcy and all the staff are competent and professional-it’s been a good experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a torn meniscus surgery. From the time I entered the building. I had a tight schedule to return to not only working 10-11 hours a day 5 days a week, to throwing a bowling ball competing at a high level within 2 months. Adam is one of the best on staff. Darcie is a close second. Looking for P.T. in the area, look here first.

Experiencia fantástica: My doctor asked what physical therapy location I’d like to attend. Not really knowing much he wrote my script for Athletico. After one session I felt comfortable with my physical therapist, Adam M. He’s helped me tremendously with my ankle injury and have gained mobility and flexibility within the first week. He pushes you but not beyond your limits. All staff at the north office are very nice and helpful and knew my name by the time end of my first session. Customer service is great. Would recommend Athletico to anyone that wants to try and gain mobility and flexibility.

Experiencia fantástica: I finished my PT experience on May 5, and I was in such a rush to get out of there, I neglected to take a photo, which would have been a good idea. I was in terrible shape and agony when I first arrived at this facility, pre-op and then post-op. In the end, I am pleased with the care and attention I received and believe the PT played a big role in re-gaining my mobility. The facility itself was clean and orderly and the Athletico staff were friendly, in tune with what would work for me, and good humored--even when I was in so much pain I wanted to punch everyone in the head. Just kidding. I only wanted to punch Adam (JUST KIDDING, ADAM!!!!!!) I also appreciated the ease with which appointments were made, how the PT plan of action was presented, and the clear explanations of why I was being asked to do certain exercises. Basically, you only get out of PT what you put in and overall, the staff will push you as much as you can take--maybe a little more--to get good results. I had a positive experience at Athletico with Adam M. as my primary PT and recommend this facility without hesitation.

Experiencia fantástica: Darcie had a great understanding of what was going on with my knee and how to get things firing again without surgery. She listens before she speaks, to get a full idea of where you are, what happened to get you there and what your goals are, before she begins proposing solutions. Then, her explanations of why she asks you to do this or that are in layman’s terms and very understandable. You feel like you’re on a team together to reach your goals. And her follow-up is fantastic - I haven’t had an appointment for a couple of months and still she reached out to see how my healing was progressing. (And it is progressing very well - I’m able to do the things I want to do.) Highly recommended!

I am finally able to get back to work and it wouldn’t have been possible without Darcie, Adam, and Aspen. Taylor is the best receptionist you will ever meet and makes you feel super relaxed from the moment you step in. Experiencia fantástica: I had partial knee replacement a few weeks ago and used Athletico East for my rehab. I worked with Darcy and she was AMAZING! She knew exactly what I needed to regain strength and momentum in my knee. She was very clear and made sure I knew exactly what the exercises would do for me. She is also very personal, always asking how I was feeling and how my family etc was doing. Truly a professional and knowledgeable therapist. Experiencia fantástica: I am very glad I chose to come to Athletico! I had previously done PT for my knee, but the exercises I had gotten from the last physical therapist just weren't helping. Even walking hurt too much to do regularly. After about seven weeks, Darcie had me back running without much trouble. She gave really good explanations for what was wrong and what we needed to do to fix it, and at every appointment she made sure to check in on how the home exercise program was working and adjusting it as needed. I really appreciated how she balanced a personalized approach with a data-driven approach, too. We took several measurements of my strength, balance, and flexibility while I was there, and it was really motivating to see how much progress I made. (Also, shout out: Adam and Taylor are great too!)

Experiencia fantástica: Originally I wanted help with balance and back issues. But between making the contact and getting to the appointment I had an issue with my left knee. The focus became knee rehab. Then 2 weeks into sessions I twisted my right knee. Remarkably Darci managed to get me feeling good enough to complete the shorter Crop Walk. A week later I managed the 2 mile walk at Mahoney Park to view the Pumpkins. With my knees stronger my balance has improved. I’m again focused on getting my core stronger to improve my back health. The decision to schedule the first appointment was the first step in slowing this aging process. I expect to be stronger at 80 than when I was 75. Thank you Athletico.

Experiencia fantástica: Adam is a super friendly and knowledgeable PT. Really appreciate that he understands the sport I play and tailors my recovery work to those specific requirements. He has helped me make great progress toward getting back onto the field. Also, he is great about being flexible around my hectic work schedule which makes the recovery so much easier. Experiencia fantástica: I was going to two different doctors for my concussion I got in January prior to the time I came here. So this would make it my third physical therapist. We came to Athletico and all the staff is great! We worked with Darcie and got me feeling better in about a month! I really enjoyed working with her and the other staff too!!

Darcie has done such a great job at helping identify the areas to focus on and adjust therapy as we go to ensure I'm getting the most out of my PT. Experiencia fantástica: Athletico is close and convenient for our families therapy needs. I would high recommend Darcy and Adam for all your therapy needs. My mother has seen them for leg and foot problems, 2 of my 3 sons have seen them for varies sports injuries. They made it back to the sports they love to compete in. My husband has back issue and the team work with him and he is back on his feet and moving great. I have a chronic pain and the team has taught me some stretching that have help on my good days. With out a doubt we would go back to see Darcy and Adam for any of our therapy needs.

She is very kind and knowledgeable, and takes into account my personal goals for my lifestyle. Durung my visits, she sets me up with exercises, and always asks if I'm doing okay, making sure that I'm not having any abnormal pain. I leave my visits feeling challenged and feeling like I'm making progress. She is doing everything she can to get me back and healthy. I also was seen for a back issue I developed months after being released from my shoulder recovery, and Darcie went above and beyond to get me back to my daily lifestyle in a timely manner. Experiencia fantástica: AMAZING!!! I don't even know where to begin. I injured my foot and was in a boot for 3 months. After I got the boot off, I expected life to go back to normal...wrong! Darcie and her team are the best of the best! I couldn't even begin to walk correctly and was in major pain. I thought for sure my foot was still broken and I needed an MRI. I also had awful sciatic nerve pain in the opposite leg, due to wearing the boot. But Darcie listened to my EVERY compliant and found a stretch, exercise and/or way to make them feel better every time! She always checked in with me to see where I was at and gave me realistic expectations. I wanted to be fixed instantly and feared I would never be able to walk normally again. I also appreciate that Darcie never pushed me to come in more than I needed to. However, I looked forward to every session with her because I always walked away feeling better, equipped with new exercises and more hopeful then ever that I would return to normal. I went from having to try to put one foot in front of the other not remembering how to walk to being able to RUN again!!! THANK YOU ATHLETICO EAST LINCOLN!!!

Darcie is AMAZING! She knew how to address my pain and knew which areas to target in order to help me build up my strength to alleviate/reduce future pain since my health concern will be life-long. She answers all questions, listens well, CARES a lot about you as an individual … I could go on and on! Also, her whole crew is professional and super friendly! Most recently, she’s helped me relieve the pain from an ankle sprain and plantar fasciitis. She’s super knowledgeable and fun to work with. I also worked some with Adam who provided great insight into my injuries. The rest of the Athletico team are always so friendly. I love the ease of scheduling, how clean the facility is and that I know I’m going to get the best care possible. Darcie is a consummate professional and I trust that she is recognized as such by her superiors. She has clearly been dedicated to the profession of physical therapy from the start. I am greatly impressed by her immense professional acumen, her painstaking attention to detail, and her absolute comitment to improving the lives of her patients. Moreover, she takes pains to know something about who her patients are, that is, as people and not just as cases or clients. I have witnessed her sincere and supportive "bedside matter" with all manner of clients ranging in age from 18 to 80. She calls them by name, remembers their human condition, and makes the time more pleasant by engaging in conversation. She excels at formulating a recovery plan that suits the individual. Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Athletico, specifically Darcie, as I was experiencing pain in my knee. It was recommended to strengthen my muscles before meniscus surgery. I was really glad I went to Darcie as she took the time and explained why it was important to do so. After surgery my quad muscle didn’t want to wake up and Darcie reached out to my doctor to get the okay to use a special treatment on me. The application of this technique got my quad to wake up. I am very thankful that Darcie went above and beyond my expectations to find a treatment for my recovery. The facility is always very clean. The entire staff is very friendly and they get to know you personally. They treat you like family. I highly recommend this Athletico location, Darcie and Adam for your physical therapy needs.
