Experiencia fantástica: I'm not ready for this place but my uncle Rolando Pena is. And I got it say that the staff are like family and good looking. I thought I was in a movie cast when I saw the nurses!!! Thanks Yannelis, Ada and the rest. I even saw a 1976 Malibu classic just like the one i had in the parking lot!!

The event planner outdoes herself, with each and every special events she plans. I am one that is extremely grateful for the treatment that the closes person in my life is receiving, which is my father.

Experiencia fantástica: I have spent some time observing in the outpatient physical therapy department and can say, with no doubt, that this hospital takes great care of their patients. They follow all sanitary requirements, unlike other clinics I have previously done observation at. The staff is dedicated to their patients at a personal level, they are not just a number and a paycheck, and make a great effort to assure patients feel dignified and at home. If I ever had the need for physical therapy I would, with no doubt, come to this hospital!

Experiencia fantástica: My stay at West Gables rehabilitation hospital was excellent. Care and personnel, I was given the attention and care by expert rehab physical therapist and occupational therapist, every single one. To name a few, Doris PT, Christine OT, Maxime PT. My medical care was the best I have received. To name a few Dr.Vivaldy, Dr. Dudley, to name a few of the nurses, Maria RN, Jose CNA, Magaly RN. Angi in patient services provided assistance in resolving a variety of issues with my medicare and insurance with much care and attention.

After being at West gables I am now able to walk, when I first arrived I couldn't do anything, I couldn't walk, get on the bed, nothing, now I can. Special thank you to the wonderful therapy staff, nursing staff and all of my doctors. I rate this place a 10/10 for the services they prove patients. I don’t think there is any other hospital with such a ranking as this hospital in all of Florida. Experiencia fantástica: I came here 4 months ago, arrived here disabled and needed help getting around, with the great people here I am now walking with my walker, and getting around on my own. Honestly speaking, I came a long way. I have a come long way thanks to the west gables angels. The therapists, nurses, cnas, and therapy aids, everyone has been amazing. Iris PT, Jose PT, Joel PT, Daoris PT, Rachel OT, and Benny CNA have been amazing, they pushed me to be better, and they celebrated all my achievements with me! The stay here has been so amazing they make it easier to not miss home as much, as I have found my new family.

Experiencia fantástica: My morder in law had her knee surgery rehab in West Gables and everyone was very nice, the food was good, the rehab center did an amazing job, they have a lot of equipment in the gym . The nurses are amazing and very friendly. My mother in law does not speak English and they all speak Spanish so that was very good.

Experiencia fantástica: Husband was sent to West Gables after a stroke and surgery. 3rd floor newly renovated. Staff is wonderful! Very patient and helpful tonboth patient and family. He has responded well to therapy. They even have a "car" to Assist with teaching entering/exiting a vehicle.

Experiencia fantástica: My dad was admitted at West Gables Rehab in May 2022. The staff was excellent, all of them very kind and professionals. Drs, Nurses, Therapists, CNAs, Elizabeth the social worker did an excellent job. My dad was in bed and 3 weeks later, was walking again and feeding by himself. Experiencia fantástica: I was fortunate to get accepted here after receiving bilateral hip surgeries at Weston Cleveland Clinic. I had paralyzing arthritis, abscesses and a severe blood infection in both of my hips. My surgeries were only two weeks apart. I couldn't even sit up in bed when I finally left the hospital. When I arrived at West Gables rehabilitation, the nurses were extremely attentive and helpful. The doctors always communicated with me, and consistently kept me informed about my progress. All of the therapists were extremely patient and understanding. There are a few people that made my experiences at West Gables really exceptional... Dr. Vivaldi is the medical director of rehabilitation. Her insight and enthusiasm kept me informed about all of the different aspects of my recovery. Her smile and confidence empowered me on a daily basis. Rachel Gray and Dorys Herrera were my main physical therapists. These young ladies are nothing short of miracle workers. They encouraged me to build muscle strength and utilize proper techniques that literally ensured my success. I will remember all of the many therapists that motivated me towards returning to my daily life. They are all angels in my opinion. The entire staff works as a cohesive unit and felt like a family to me. Thank you to Jimmy, the lead therapy manager, who never gave me a day off. Thank you to secretary Janette Curry and Elizabeth Matos Hidalgo (my case manager) who made sure I was 100% prepared to return to my home life with all the necessary equipment & medications waiting for me. Gracias Muchas to CNA Alejandro Bello and Vanessa Ruiz who brought a little sunshine into my life every time they had a chance. During my final week of physical therapy, I was able to sit & stand from a wheelchair, go up and down stairs, use the restroom independently and walk long distances. Not too shabby for having total hip replacement only a few weeks before. Finally, thank you Sue!! She embodies the heart and soul of West Gables. She's been there for nearly 20 years and always welcomed me into her gym with a big smile and genuine concern for my safety. Sue's positive attitude and energy is nothing less than infectious. I will never forget any of these people or this experience. I am grateful for this 2nd chance. As I slowly and carefully return to my life once again, I am confident that success is something that is earned through true grit and determination. The core values of the staff at West Gables hospital, and never say die attitudes ensure that their patients have the best chance to return to their homes prepared to thrive & succeed. ❤❤ Now I'm going for a nice long swim on a beautiful Florida afternoon!

My mother in law went for a few days after a hospital stay and it was awesome the Nursing staff was great very helpful and professional The Physical Therapy was very intense and at the end of the treatment the results were 10 times better than we expected The rooms are remodeled, very clean and very well kept. The whole entire Staff should commended on a a job Well Done. We are very pleased with results and highly recommend West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother was admitted to West Gables after her stroke three weeks ago. What an Amazing experience. The medical staff, her social worker, the therapist personnel , the security guard who knew my name after couple days visiting my mom were simply Wonderful. Her patient care assistant, Isabel who had a special way to put a smile on my mom face every morning. Every hour, she paid her a visit , making sure that she had everything that she needed. And at the end of her shift, a "buenas noches" to us. A special thank to her social worker. She is a caring , compassionate lady .From the button of our heart, we thank you for taking good care of our mother.

Experiencia fantástica: My Dad had a Massive Heart Attack. We were not sure if he would make it. See he is 91 years old. Dad spent 10 days at South Miami Hispital. Then he was transferred to West Gables Rehabilitation, and the staff made my Dad be himself again. They provided physical therapy, occupational Therapy and Speech therapy. Each individual is a professional and most of all human. They took care of my Dad like he was part of the family. They brought him back to life and made him smile again. I thank God and I thank everyone associated with West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital. There are real Angels working there. God Bless you all.
