Experiencia fantástica: My therapist is Sara Pohl! She is pretty good (so far--haha!) I am recovering from hip surgery and she is doing such a great job with helping me gain back my strength and confidence in that area! She is very personable and always positive with all her patients. Sara definitely is knowledgeable and skilled in her field so if you decide to rehab here, ask for Sara, you will be in good hands!

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first experience with physical therapy and they made it as pleasant as possible. Rachel was the main person I worked with and she is amazing. They're all amazing, i just can't remember all their names as it's been a bit since I was there. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a client at the central Omaha Athletico for two tours of therapy: once for my back and this time for my rotator cuff. Sarah and the other therapists are professional yet relaxed in their approach. Sarah knows what she is doing. I look forward to going to my appointments knowing that the team will help me improve while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a shoulder injury at work and went to Athletico for physical therapy. I also previously went here for a pinched nerve in my neck. Both times I came here I was treated very well, and felt like the therapy really helped me. They were really flexible with scheduling for sure. I have a lot of dr appointments, so I had to reschedule pretty often. But, they were always able to sneak me in. Seth, Rachel, Boston, and everyone else there were very cool and easy to work with. And therapy helped me very much in both instances. Though I still have shoulder issues, they have gotten me to the point where it at least doesn't hurt UNTIL I use it alot. But, before it was killing me regardless of whether I used it or not. I would highly recommend Athletico if you need to find a good place to get physical therapy....

When Austin has multiple clients at the same time Seth did an awesome job of stepping in and pushing me just as hard to achieve my goals. I have never done PT before like I should have. Lots of variety to keep things interesting; great tips for home exercises; and, always a pool going to maybe win a prize! If you ever find yourself in need of a physical therapist, I'd highly recommend this Athletico location! Sara Pohl and her team are the best :)

Experiencia fantástica: One word to describe Athletico - Central Omaha is … Awesome! Awesome environment, awesome care and awesome people. I've had both knees replaced this year, three months apart, so I spent six months at Athletico for my PT. Going in I was dreading it as I didn't know what to expect plus being scheduled for three days a week added to my anxiety. All of my fears were alleviated after I met my therapist Rachael and went through my first session. She was very empathetic to my concerns and never pushed me beyond what I thought I could do but she was very encouraging for me to push myself further than I thought I could go. Rachael is great and I would recommend her to anyone but all of the folks (and over the six months I worked with all of them) at this location are great, I think their interpersonal skills are what makes this location as outstanding as it is. It's a welcoming, inclusive and fun environment they have created. I certainly hope I don't have to return to physical therapy but if I do I will not hesitate to return to Athletico - Central Omaha.

Kinda got sad when I graduated because it was so fun to be around people who genuinely care about your recovery. My therapist Sara was attentive and listened to my struggles. I felt like I got personalized therapy to myself, not just generic exercises.

Experiencia fantástica: I am doing therapy at Athletico Central for the fourth time in as many years. My results have been significant and very helpful. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. it is obvious that they are dedicated to seeing their patients achieve results. Sarah, the astute and deeply experienced manager, keeps the atmosphere relaxed while humming with activity. She has created the gold standard for Rehab in Omaha.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot rave enough about this location! Sarah and her staff are truly unique in how they approach not just physical therapy, but life as a whole. I was injured at work and the company overseeing my worker's comp case set an appointment for me here back in February. In 10 visits, I got to learn about why the injury was affecting me the way it was and how to stretch and release the tension. I also learned how I could strengthen the muscles to protect myself from a similar injury. My favorite part was getting to know everyone though. You can tell everyone there is passionate about what they do and it shows in how their patients interact as well. Sorry you have to seek pt at all but you're choosing the right place with the right people at this location! Thank you all and yes, I still feel great!

Experiencia fantástica: I was in a car accident in December. I suffered from a mild concussion and back spasms. I'm very strong headed and originally denied the PT referral from my Dr. With symptoms not going away on their own, I finally caved and started pt at the 78th and Dodge location. Originally, I was told it would probably be six weeks going twice a week until I could be finished. I'm happy to announce that after 9 visits, I have completed my sessions. I feel normal again, thanks to Sarah! Its a night and day difference from when I started. My only regret is not starting sooner!

Experiencia fantástica: I chose this place for its location close to my work and home, but I love it because the people are fun and friendly and the atmosphere is open and relaxing. The location is in the strip mall near JAMS on 78th and Dodge, so traffic is annoying, but there is almost always parking right in from of the building or a very short walk away (15-20 steps?). The front desk staff are sometimes out and so if there is a wait and no one there, it's easy to stick your head around the corner and one of the therapists will see what you need. Staff are the best - very friendly, very well trained, good at explaining things if you ask, careful to make sure you get the help you need without pushing you too far. Andi like that they have some different exercises that feel more like games for some things (I had an ankle injury). I enjoyed going to PT and always felt it was worthwhile. When I overworked my not-yet-healed ankle and it swelled significantly, they did additional therapy to help reduce the swelling more quickly so we could move back to progressing instead of waiting a week or two and slowing everything down. I appreciated the medical care they provided, the down-to-earth atmosphere and the welcoming staff. I notice A LOT of repeat customers coming back and I'm not surprised - this is my choice of PT locations now too.

Experiencia fantástica: First of all as many have said Jen (who runs front desk) is great! she is good at her job. I'm in health care so from my first visit I got the impression that the therapist work well as a team, when needed. that's always a good indication that they are happy and love what they do. help people. ALEX is scary smart! he KNOWS what he is doing and understands human anatomy and physiology. THAT is what I need from a therapist. im regularly impressed by his knowledge of what is going on with my pain, progress, and what to do for me. most importantly (to me) is the time he has taken to break it down and actually explain my pain to me. I have never worked with such a knowledgeable therapist before. I am not an easy customer. I need answers!!! to me, Alex exemplifies what it is to be an asset to my getting better!!! thanks Alex!!! and the rest of the team that have helped me to beleive that PT can help/work for me to get better.

Experiencia fantástica: After being a patient here myself, I expected to find a place where my son could find success with his physical therapy needs. We were so grateful to watch how well this team did with my son and his therapy. Not only did Aden exceed his PT goals in less than 3 months, the team (Rachel, Jen, & Sara) was kind and made it fun for him! Both Rachel and Sara helped him learn how to be a good PT patient this time around and prepared him for how he can keep on track as he continues to grow. Though we’ll do our best to stay healthy, we’ll likely - and happily - be back as patients again in the future.

She had helped me regain so much strength and ability, helped me regain my confidence, and is seriously one of the nicest people I've met. The entire staff here is welcoming and so very kind. I was nervous to start PT and she took all that nervousness away!!

Experiencia fantástica: My husband had such a good experience with Dr.Sara Pohl with a previous back injury, that when I felt pain in my shoulder and neck and my PCP recommended physical therapy for long term relief, I made an appointment with her. Their flexibility in scheduling was amazing. Lots of appointments to fit my schedule and recently when I called to come in early they accommodated without question. Sara was very knowledgeable and explained pain source and remedies well. I feel very comfortable with the exercises and stretches provided to continue doing them on my own. I received handouts with instructions, in office instructions and demo and a website to access with more info. I would go there again if I need it. I had no idea physical therapy was easy and helpful; probably rooted from some misguided previous conception or cliche. It far exceeded my expectations. Also their covid protocols were on par with current recommended practices and screening so I felt comfortable being in the facility during visits. Every patient was spread out and masked. I highly recommend Sara and her staff!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a severe strain in my hamstring and it was agitating my sciatic nerve. The specialist thought I would need to get a shot in my back. LUCKLY, I had Sarah Pohl to help me get better. She was awesome and so understanding. She explained everything to me and always made sure I was on track. I honestly can say that without her I would of ended up back at the doctor getting a shot in my back. She also was fun to talk to!!!! The secretary is Great also, she always helped you get scheduled no matter what you needed. Every time I walked in the door I got a HI How are you and of course a temp check..... She was fun to talk with also... Hopefully, I won't be back if I need to I will NOT go to any other clinic or location.. THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been served by Sara at Athletico at 78th and Dodge in Omaha on three occasions - for my inflamed Achilles tendon, for a knee bursitis, and most recently for a herniated disc. I can't be more grateful. What I experienced was wonderful. The first thing I want to highlight is that the treatment was personal. Sara recognized that I was not only hurting physically, but that there was an emotional component to each struggle. I was discouraged and she was convincing in her assurance that this would get better. She is a great teacher. She took the time to help me understand my body and what was going on to cause the pain and how the therapy would help. I came to have complete confidence in her. And, she was "just right" in keeping the recovery routines at a level I could do them, without further hurting myself. The nerve pain I had with the herniated disc was really awful. Sara assured me she could help me function again. I trusted her direction and therapy, and learned patience, while I saw the results with each week. I'm now trying to faithfully do the exercises she's given me to do at home, so I can grow in flexibility and strength. I'm sold on physical therapy. And, I'm really sold on this style of PT which is personal, educational and really competent. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: I started to go Athletico after having a bad experience and little progression after two ACL surgeries with a different PT here in Omaha. Starting with Sara was scary, as I was afraid I would never get back to normal activities again after having the two surgeries and little progress over those 6 months. However, once coming here I was finally able to begin to recover and start to feel and begin to return normal activity. Everyone in the office is amazing and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and that your care matters. I would recommend anyone goes here for any type of recovery - they are amazing!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm so glad I chose Excel for my physical therapy after my Rotator cuff surgery. My therapist is Sara. She is absolutely wonderful. She is very professional and knows her stuff. During my recovery from surgery I fell down a flight of stairs which made my situation a little tricky. She has been awesome in helping me continue my post-op PT while taking into consideration three broken ribs (same side) from my fall. She knows when to push a little more or back off. She's just fantastic. Special mention to Anna, Kristen, Jordan, and Marina for making my continued PT enjoyable.

Yet, the staff made sure that everything was at a suitable pace for me and that I was not in any pain. The staff here was so friendly and i was even sent a birthday card and given a free t-shirt for graduating my physical therapy.
