Experiencia fantástica: This was my first experience with physical therapy, dealing with an issue with neck pain and stiffness. I had previously gone to a chiropractor but was looking for a "gentler" solution to this problem that seemed to crop up every winter due to a combination of posture issues from working in an office environment and sleeping on it wrong, etc. The PTs that I worked with had some great stretches and strengthening exercises, (including some vagus nerve stretches) that resulted in my pain eventually going away (and without the need for any pain medication outside of the occasional ibuprofen).

Experiencia fantástica: Starting in 2016, I saw a variety of medical professionals because I was having problems in one leg, likely due to running. I was told repeatedly that I had arthritis, but not enough for something to be done. Modify your exercise was the constant refrain. I went from marathon running to slow walking a couple of miles and feeling the same results. By the fall of 2022, I could not lift my leg up to dry my foot after a shower. After yet another orthopedic told me to modify my behavior until I need a new hip, I arrived at PTI desperate for help. Heather and John identified significant deficiencies and developed a plan to get dormant muscles firing again. One day, Kristin was filling in. She made me tell my story from the beginning, yet again. The difference this time was that she listened, actually listened. She suspected a hip flexor/psoas issue and jabbed her fingers into it. I saw stars that day, but I walked out with the ability to lift my leg again. It took more than a month of manual pressure before that muscle stopped tightening up again. My program was cut short because I’m leaving the area but they gave me the words I need to say when I search for their equivalent in eastern PA. Without hesitation, I recommend this team.

Experiencia fantástica: Nice atmosphere, the PT team works well together and are always watching the patients, even if it’s not their specific person. Lots of individual, one-on-one care. Lots of encouragement and positive reinforcement. Great place!

Experiencia fantástica: When I am in need of Physical Therapy my choice is PTI. My first visit to PTI was 5 years ago when I had rotator cuff surgery. It was recommended that I have PT prior to the surgery to reinforce the areas around my shoulder which would then make post surgery recovery easier and more effective. It worked. I am a very active person in my 70s and in addition to successful recovery of my shoulder have used PTI for knee and lower back rehab. In all cases, the results have been excellent!

I applaud the staff here at Mt. Lebanon who worked very hard and diligently to help me get more strength and even start to walk without a cane. Experiencia fantástica: Went here as a pre-lim to my orthopedic doctor to see if therapy could solve or at least diagnose my shoulder. Though they did not heal me, they were able to isolate the cause, work on a strengthening program and reduce my pain drastically.

And the entire staff is awesome bc they really took the time to understand my specific goals (specifically getting back to barre/cycling) and working around my schedule. Being pregnant with an ankle injury makes training/balance especially difficult - and they have been so supportive of my progress and my limitations.

I think my favorite part about this place is that there is never more than a few patients at a time, which is a relief from the crowd's I've experienced elsewhere and got little attention. I am a healthcare provider, and never really thought about how it would feel to be the patient, and not the provider. Experiencia fantástica: PTI therapists are knowledgeable and supportive. I have a calf injury and the therapy treatments and exercises are specifically geared towards my needs, capabilities and goals. The atmosphere is structured but casual. Workouts are challenging but fun. Interaction between the therapists and other 'patients' helps the time and treatments go by quickly. The therapists have become new friends. I will miss the PTI team when my physical therapy sessions end. If physical therapy would be needed in the future, PTI would be my first choice. Thank you PTI!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a patient at PTI (Mt. Lebanon) location for well over a year. During my life, I've had different falls, surgeries, etc. and have been to other Physical Therapy locations. Out of all of them, PTI has been the best and I don't hesitate for a moment saying that or referring my "best friend" there. There is always a one-on-one staff vs. patient ratio, especially if you are a new patient or a patient that has mobility issues. The staff have there eyes on you at all times, even if they don't happen to be the one working with you on a particular day. When my neurologist sent me for physical therapy, he specifically told me that he wanted me to go to PTI and no other place. When I asked him why, he told me that the staff there do things that no other facility does or are willing to take on the task. I found out over the past year that he was exactly right. I could write much more about the specific issue's that do had when I was in my car accident, but It's pretty lengthy. I give honest reviews and will mention any problem issues as well as any good ones. For PTI, there is nothing negative to mention. All the staff are friendly, professional and passionate about the field that they've chosen. When there is something that might not seem right, Heather, who is the managing Therapist, will research or go to her Contacts to figure out the problem and a way to correct the problem and Lauren, who is the PTA, is right next to her. ,
