Experiencia fantástica: A few months back, my father suffered a severe stroke and then was placed in a Skilled Nursing facility that was abusive and predatory. After a miserable few months at the other facility, my father was transferred to WakeMed Acute Rehab and I just can't say enough about all they have done for both my father and my family. The rehab was fantastic, the care he received was outstanding, and the staff, therapists, and nurses were all so incredibly smart and nice. You can be fully confident that your loved one will be in good hands here and get the best rehabilitation to maximize their recovery!

Experiencia fantástica: My treatment in WakeMed Rehab Hospital has been excellent. The physical therapy has been 1-on-1, the nursing staff closely attentive and kind. The overall care is superb for healing.

Experiencia fantástica: Lots of care and equipment. Heart monitor is placed for entire session when in their care. BP taken. Cardio equipment was clean and good instruction on how to operate equipment. Instructors/RN's/Dietician/ were all friendly and did a great job leading classes and providing information. The staff asked great questions about our health, nutrition, exercise, etc. Thankful to have been a part of this cardio rehab.

They all take the time to understand my needs while providing me optimal education on necessary protocols. They are all patient, kind and empathetic. They have made the rehab process smooth and effective!

Experiencia fantástica: I c as n not s as y enough good things about the care I received during my 3 weeks here. The therapists, doctors, nurses, nurse aides, and case workers are amazing. They not only treat the patient but the entire family. They listen, they respond, and they deliver.even the food was good. If you ever need to be at an inpatient rehab do everything you can to get into Wake Med Rehab hospital!! They are truly an amazing fantastic caring team!!

Experiencia positiva: Tyler your ground is not the only one that’s been left in pure pain before I’m here currently recovering from a stroke and while everyone’s been REALLY great I was left in terrible pain for 4-5 days couldn’t get rid of it for NOTHINGand I couldn’t EVEN get a dang Motrin my family was highly upset that they CAME up here and spoke with my nurse that evening I did get Tylenol but come on I needed a NSAID and I couldn’t even get a dang MOTRIN come on pain control needs some serious improvement UP IN HERE to get much better up in here other than that you guys need to Allow family to take us OUTSIDE it’s not fair some can go out but not all how is that fair at all!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My adult son has Cerebral Palsy, has worked over 30 years but has had a few falls over the past 5 years. From the regular hospital he has been excepted into The Wake Med Rehab Hospital program. This is the most professional, well educated group of therapist in our state! EACH specialize in a specific area to customize a care plan for each individual patient. When Lee’s brothers saw a video of him walking out of the hospital they said it was the first time in their lives they had ever seen him walk “flat footed” and safe!! We could never say enough good things about this facility or thank the wonderful, caring staff that works there to help people have a more independent life!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was recently at wake med rehab after being in icu in a coma for twelve days. I was unable to walk and had foot drop. Everyone including the doctors nurses and pt and ot were wonderful!i was here almost three weeks and left able to walk on a walker!I would recommend wake med rehab to others i truly appreciate all they did for me.

The entire staff - doctors, therapists, nurses, aids, caseworker - ALL were knowledgeable, amazing, caring, compassionate and efficient.Their knowledge, skills and care made a difference in my Mother's recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice and helpful staff to the nurses, nursesaids, therapists OT and PT, and even student nurses aids that came in once and a while. I have to have heart surgery and possibly rehab. I'm going to request them with no hesitation if I need rehab.

Experiencia fantástica: I was inpatient for 10 days and continue with outpatient PT due to a shattered left femur. I can not give enough praise to EVERY person I encountered ranging from the doctors and PA's, to the house cleaning staff. Every one was compassionate, accommodating, and above all empathetic. I will continue to utilize Wakemed for my rehabilitation needs and would highly recommend them to anyone who has an orthopedic need.
