Everyone from the front office staff to all the therapists always have a smile on their faces and greet you as if they knew you forever. It is FUN going there and I look forward to going. Experiencia fantástica: The staff here is fantastic! The office staff is always helpful and they have been so flexible with helping me get appointments that fit into my crazy schedule. The PTA's and PT's are great and really make you feel comfortable. I am so pleased to have come here for my therapy! The pool and whirlpool are wonderful too, and an added bonus over other physical therapy offices in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: At first I was skeptical of moving from the PT the assorted PTA's for many sessions, but found it to be a REALLY good experience here. They are more exercise based, which is what I need right now. The staff is GREAT at sharing info and notes, so when someone new comes to work with you that day, they are right up to date with your progress. I actually now like the assortment of input! Love them all.

Experiencia fantástica: Aquatic changed my mobility. I was walking with a limp and after just a few sessions the limp disappeared. I was taught to use other muscles. I was given individual instruction and exercises to do at home. The trainers were very respectful and helpful. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience with APTB! Referred for chronic bilateral upper back pain/neck and arm pain. Stubborn inflammed tissues were worked out, I have more flexability and less pain! I am sleeping much better and moving around more easily prior to when I started. About 11 weeks, 2 to 3 times weekly visits! All the therapist are great and work together for patients success! Give them a chance to help you!

Experiencia fantástica: The therapy was designed for my individual problem and each therapist knew my needs. They communicated with each other so nothing was missed. Each therapist was patient and concerned about my progress. They encouraged me to do my best with exercises to maximize my healing process. And they could always make me smile and laugh, even in the most strenuous exercise. A big than you to all. I would go back to Aquatic therapy for any other PT that I might need in the future.

I struggled with not being able to bind my left knee after knee replacement for over 10 years, I can bend my leg, what a relief. They really take good care of you. Pleasant relaxing atmosphere, but your not going to relax it's work time. I loved it. You really have to try it the underwater treadmill was awesome with soothing sauna to complete your exercise.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a 77-year-old male who tries to live a somewhat active lifestyle. I have been a patient at Aquatic PT and Beyond since the Spring of 2016. The knowledgeable and skilled Physical Therapists there have helped me rehabilitate a number of injuries ranging from total joint replacements to spinal fusions. (Yes – I’m accident-prone.) With each injury or surgery, they have carefully assessed my deficits and developed a treatment plan that effectively restored me to my daily routine. I am currently recovering from a total hip replacement. I anticipate they will have me back to cycling as soon as the surgeon will allow that activity.

They also make you feel like you are part of a family, and they make it fun. A very comfortable atmosphere that puts you at ease. Not just the therapists either, the office staff, and the owners help you work out a schedule that works best for you. I recommend them to everyone I know that needs PT services, or might need them in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a wonderful place for PT recovery. I have personal used them for the pool/hot tub recovery. My daughter used them for gym PT recovery for 2 different situations. The staff is amazing and always friendly. The owner really cares about her patients!!

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Aquatic Physical Therapy & Beyond. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff and listen to your comments at every appointment. Appointments can be tailored for your needs. For example I was doing 2 days of aquatic and one of gym, but as I progressed, it changed to 2 days gym and one water. If you need PT, check them out!

Experiencia fantástica: Cold Laser Therapy and PT at Aquatic PT and Beyond has changed my life. 22 years of neuropathy from cancer meds left me with hardly any feeling in my feet which resulted in poor balance and inability to walk without the use of a cane. My expectations were to be using a walker and eventually a wheelchair but that has changed in the last few months. After my treatment I have been walking confidently without the use of a cane and my balance is much improved.

Experiencia fantástica: I felt that the staff at Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond were very attentive to my needs. Specifically, they understood that my lower back trouble needed some special help. It had been hurting for many years w not much improvement thru 2 different PT and 2 chiropractor rounds as well- each with many sessions. Aquatic Physical Therapy worked very carefully with me to assess my problems and to create exercises that truly help me. I started in the pool- I needed that because my back was so bad also worsened by sedentary lifestyle due to pain (covid didn’t help!) by the time I went through pool then “graduated” into the gym, I was gaining the strength and mobility needed for more rigorous exercises. I have to say I’m at least 60% better in lower back pain and abilities. This treatment success has given me my life back. Specific accolades go to Ned (the new dad) and how he guided an intern who helped me very professionally also. I learned things I never knew or no one ever taught me going to different PT’s and chiropractors. I recommend this group to anybody who needs PT. The equipment is first class and the people are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: at the beginning of 2021 i ruptured my Achilles and i owe my great recovery to them. I have nothing but amazing experiences and memories of them. They are extremely friendly, flexible, caring, knowledgeable and patient. They seem to get along well with every patient. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. They treat you like family, and I highly recommend this office! Also, my husband has had back pain for several years and nothing has helped. Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient at a number of different physical therapy facilities here in NC, as well as in other states and Aquatic Physical Therapy & More is by far my favorite facility, with my favorite therapists and I truly wish I had not waited so long to try them out. What's different? First and foremost, I am comfortable with every single staff member - they are professional, know what they are doing, are friendly and truly make you feel at home. They actually take an interest in you and are truly there to help and that has not always been my experience with other companies. The facilities are well maintained and the atmosphere is professional, yet comfortable. The pool and the underwater treadmill are AWESOME and can be real game changers. I was initially extremely hesitant and self conscious about the idea of aquatic PT and potential embarrassment as I am NOT comfortable in any type of swim attire, but the pool is small, the staff and other patients are friendly and not at all judgmental, and this is the perfect type of PT for me and my long suffering knees. The pool is a comfortable temperature and there is a hot tub you can relax in for a bit afterwards. The maximum amount of patients in the pool (which is more of a large tank) is about 4, but there are usually 2 or 3 people at a time, but sometimes you luck out and have the pool all to yourself. I have just graduated from using only the pool to also using the gym facilities/machines, and I enjoy that as well. For the first time ever, I actually look forward to going to PT. I have been here since October 2019, and have loved it. I should also note that they have been especially careful about cleanliness during Covid 19, and I feel very comfortable continuing with my PT during this time. I really recommend that you give them a try!

I have never enjoyed PT anywhere as much as I did in their warm & inviting exercise pool. Everyone I encountered there made me feel welcomed and well cared for.

I was receiving physical therapy from another institution and obtained opinions from two different surgeons that I had moderate disc disease in my back. Their review of my MRI revealed to them surgery would not be an option because they both felt it would cause additional problems. I felt helpless as pain and restricted movement would remain in my future. My orthopedic surgeon recommended that I try aquatic therapy. The physical therapist I was working with at the time concurred and researched where he felt would be the best fit for me which was Aquatic Physical Therapy & Beyond. The therapy pool allowed me to accomplish functional movements to strengthen my core and allow me to increase my exercise regimen and no longer rely on pain relievers. I have worked with all their therapists and feel they are all top notch ! I will always be grateful that I found Aquatic Physical Therapy & Beyond.

From first coming in the office and meeting Tiffany, the receptionist, to go in the other rooms to meet with the therapists you will have a very pleasant experience. They are all very polite and very caring. They are very friendly and care about the whole person. They are easy to talk to. I especially remember a time when I was emotionally spent and Jeff, one of the therapist, just listened to me and really encouraged me. That meant so much to me, to think he really cared. It certainly helped to brighten my day. They are all like that. They are attentitive and funny if you need a laugh. They also have a mascot, Wilson. Wilson is my pal in the pool, you will have to come and meet him. I would highly recommend that if you need therapy this is a great place to come.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my 2nd time at Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond. I came back because the service is excellent and they have really helped me with increased mobility in my knee. The pool and the gym exercises were challenging but, they paid off in that I am walking so much better than when I arrived. Ned and Jeff were my primary therapists but, all the staff is great and they know what they are doing. Kudos to Eliza and the front desk team who arranged my appointments and checked on my billing with the insurance company. One extra bonus is the other patients, they were great to interact with while receiving treatment. If you want quality therapy go to Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond.

Each time, I meet the most pleasant and knowledgeable physical therapists and PT assistants. You will meet them in either their therapeutic pool ( 92 degrees, it feels wonderful) or the gym. They teach you how to safely do exercises in the pool, gym and at home to help you improve and meet your goals for health care. The atmosphere is relaxed yet professional making your experience enjoyable as you work hard to become your 100% self. I highly recommend Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond to help you with any of your physical therapy needs. You won’t be disappointed!

They know your name and always have a smile to greet you. I have been a patient on and off for several years. Early on, we worked for several years to avoid surgery; I knew would happen someday. Then after a couple of surgeries, we worked to get me back to normal. The front office makes scheduling and insurance filing flexible and efficient. You are always one on one with a therapist who is caring and knowledgeable. No sharing time with another patient. The therapist listens to you and works to help you attain your goals. I started in the pool each time to get everything moving. I love the warm pool and the underwater treadmill. Yes, there is a treadmill in the pool. I moved to the gym for strength, stretching and stability. They have all of stuff to get you moving. Who knew climbing stairs in an office building would be physical therapy? They used dry needling to release some tight spots. They have always had the right therapy to get me to the next level. Thank you for taking great care of me!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Aqua PT & Beyond was recommended to me by a friend for PT before a Total Knee Replacement. I did several weeks here before surgery and felt much stronger and more positive going into the surgery. I began in the gym again the week after surgery. My progress has been wonderful and I definitely attribute this to the work done at Aqua PT. As of last week - week 3 - I am back in the pool (which is FABULOUS), as well as the gym, and feeling loose and, virtually, pain free. My PT, Ned and PTA, Elizabeth, have been amazing to work with, encouraging me and keeping me smiling the entire time. I cannot thank them enough for their professional expertise, kindness and encouragement. This process has been SO much better than I expected!

Your session is one on one with your therapist who by the way truly seems to care. I've been to places where your therapist will stick you on a machine for 10 minutes while they treat someone else and if your lucky they'll be back before the timer is up...not here!! Experiencia fantástica: Most effective PT group I have ever been to. Every session is one-on-one... Therapists constantly watch for correct form. I had 2 foot surgeries and was in constant pain (7/8) and unable to walk some days. After 3 months with Aquatic PT, my pain is now down to 1-2 and I am able to walk normally. I can’t say enough how knowledgable and professional they are. True lifesavers. Also, unlike most pt’s with a pool, scheduling is not a problem. Gym is also awesome. Tons of tools and tricks to help all types of issues.

I had full knee replacement and was using a walker when I went there. 2 weeks later and I am not even using a cane. They treat you with respect and everyone is very nice to deal with. Experiencia fantástica: AQUATICS AND BEYOND I found Aquatics and Beyond when I had my first joint replacement in 2013. They were on a list offered by Duke Orthopedics. I have since had four more surgeries-including 3 more joint replacements and returned to them for each because they did such an impressive job of getting me mobilized. After having a shoulder replacement in Sept., 2018, I can garden and move in any way I want with out shoulder pain-including above my head to stretch and reach items. The PT have given my foot, which was my last surgery, massage therapy on the scar tissue that diminished the protrusion of the scars making them almost invisible as well as disintegrated the pain. Plus, they have enormously helped my balance and profoundly improved my ability to climb steps through the water therapy! In short, they have worked wonders and I am thankful I found them!

I was extremely thankful for their pool therapy. It allowed me to get out of bed, move around, and begin to regain my strength before I was able to walk. Experiencia fantástica: They are amazing in their ability to assess and deliver the therapy plan according to needs and abilities. I always felt that they were attentive and able to adapt their treatments to me that challenged but protected me from harm. The pool exercises were particularly helpful to begin in order to build core strength without stress to my back. And the hot tub afterward took any residual soreness away. They knew how to teach me exactly how to move to protect my double lumbar fusion from injury.

Aquatic physical therapy is what I needed from the start. I'm finally seeing improvements. All of the staff here is knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. I have tried many different PT places over the years for a knee injury, and Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond is the only place that helped me. Therapy in the water is the safest way to gain strength without injuring yourself in the process, which is what happens frequently with traditional PT. The staff at Aquatic PT & Beyond are very nice and go out of their way to make sure that your visits are covered by insurance, that they receive reauthorization when required, and they treat each and every patient with dignity and respect, yet also make sure that you have fun in the process! I can't say enough about what a great facility this is!

Experiencia fantástica: Pivot physical therapy was not doing a good job so I came here. I had a tibia/fibia fracture with a lot of scar tissue. The people here are very nice and make you feel better when you're having a bad day(thanks for putting up with me). The office works with you on scheduling, copay, and even if you're running a little late as I was driving from Fayetteville occasionally it happens. My PTA Elizabeth is awesome at listening to my concerns and working with me to get me back on track. The others are nice and knowledgeable but she is my favorite . The aqua therapy is great also....you can't go wrong by coming here for your PT needs.

However, I was very much compelled to take the time to provide a review here because of my experience with Aquatics Physical Therapy and how this may be helpful for many others in similar situations. For those who are not looking to read a long review, just KNOW that Aquatics Physical Therapy and Beyond is a second-to-none physical therapy provider that is leagues above any other physical therapy provider that I have ever been involved with. I would not recommend any other place in the triangle, or within a feasible driving distance of Aquatics, to anyone in need of PT. Aquatics PT and Beyond is hands-down, the best. For those who do not mind reading and prefer to be a bit more informed before deciding on a PT provider: This place is like a finely tuned machine composed of knowledgeable, talented, friendly, and extremely passionate Physical Therapists and PTAs that truly care about improving your physical condition. From the ownership to physical therapists to the supporting office personnel, it is very apparent that they are a cohesive team that looks out for and collaborates with one another. I am very skeptical about health providers due to many bad experiences, but for once I cannot find one negative thing to say about this place. I will point out that I live in Holly Springs, work in Durham, but still CHOOSE to drive the distances because of how beneficial and positive of an experience it has been. I have been playing competitive sports all my life and have suffered countless injuries and undergone multiple surgeries as a result. In turn, I have done PT in a variety of settings and at many different locations. Did I mention that Aquatics is the best? They provide one-on-one therapy with full attention during the entire hour of your session. They are not focused on passing as many patients through the door as possible, but instead focus on improving the patients physical condition. Over the past several months I have had the opportunity to do therapy with most of the therapists and can honestly say, there is no weak link. It is a talented group that is ambitious about being experienced and knowledgeable in many areas and techniques. They are friendly, fun, and challenging all at the same time. I once heard a patient jokingly admit that half the reason why he came to PT was because he considered everyone there his friend. In all seriousness, I strongly recommend this place and can honestly say that I look forward to PT, which is something most people would say they dread.
