Experiencia fantástica: A year and a half ago, I re-injured my posterior tibial tendon in my left ankle and was told to pursue PT to prevent further damage. I was told that if I proceeded carefully and slowly, I’d be able to avoid surgery. That was my main goal. After doing a bit of research, I located TheraPlus which I liked because, in addition to PT, I also wanted personal training. TheraPlus—specifically, Aggie—was a fantastic find for both purposes! Aggie has been an absolute godsend! She is right on target with my PT needs, and has gotten me from the brink of surgery to about 75% resumption of my normal, active life. She is extremely competent and knowledgeable, and I have always felt that I was in excellent hands! Just as importantly , Aggie is an absolute pleasure to work with! She is very personable and engaging, and just a very nice person. Working with her actually made going to physical therapy and working out “fun.” She is always positive, encouraging and supportive, but mindful and careful of my limits. She has consistently gone above and beyond in communicating with my doctors and others who have helped along the way. I know for certain that I would not be where I am in my recovery journey but for Aggie. My husband and I are moving to Tampa, Florida next week and I honestly have to say that one of my few regrets is that I won’t be able to work with Aggie on a weekly basis. But, with all she has given me, I am confident I will be able to continue to move forward. I told her that on occasional return trips to St. Louis, I definitely plan to make appointments to see her just to check in. Tampa is going to have to really show me something special to meet the “Aggie standard.” I recommend her most highly for any PT, but definitely for foot-ankle problems. She’s a great personal trainer, as well! All in all, Aggie is simply the BEST!!

Experiencia fantástica: Tom is the BEST,!!!! He is very knowledgeable and dedicated. He has helped me a great deal and I can recommend him Whole heartedly!!! All the staff is super nice and welcoming! Carol , the receptionist, is a gem!

Experiencia fantástica: I went in to see Tom Nuzum for a lower back (L5/S1 herniated disk) injury that had completely stopped me from lifting or any other activities for 5+ years. It was a powerlifting related injury - likely happened when I was squatting or deadlifting. I had been to 3 other physical therapists at SSM and Athletico but not a single one of them was able to reduce my lower back pain or sciatica. I decided I needed to find someone who has experience with lifting related injuries and stumbled upon Tom, who had competed in Strongman and Powerlifting competitions in the past. I definitely made the right decision. On my first session with Tom he had showed me an exercise that reduced the pain about 70-80% almost instantly. It felt like a miracle. He kept working with me until I could get to squatting and deadlifting pain free, in a matter of just a few months. Tom is an expert PT. Experiencia fantástica: Tom and his staff at TheraPlus are exceptional. I have been to many physical therapists across the St. Louis metro area, and no place comes close to matching the individualized attention and treatment provided at TheraPlus. The physical therapists at TheraPlus take their time with each patient, leading them through rehab exercises, providing hands-on treatment, and carefully tailoring home exercise plans to each client's abilities and needs. It is difficult to count the number of times I have hobbled into TheraPlus with a sports related injury and walked out feeling like a new person. If you are interested in moving and feeling better, TheraPlus is the place for you.
