Experiencia fantástica: I really enjoyed my visit with Katherine for my hand injury. She only prescribed what I needed and was not pushy compared to another place I had been. She was so helpful, thorough, and kind. Within a couple of weeks, my hand was back to normal.

As of today, I'm walking without it and still need work with my momentum. The location of the facility is best for where I live. Just 0.3 miles away. The exercises recommend by the rehab/physical therapist, Ms Mulhearn are already making a difference. I look forward to completing my follow up appointments.

She did a great job of explaining things and coaching me with my exercises. All the other staff I interacted with were also friendly and professional. No complaints.

Experiencia fantástica: My therapist, Breanne Riley, was excellent. She provided a program of care that was simple and straightforward yet extremely effective. During our sessions she was warm and friendly yet firm and demanding (in a good way). She gave me numerous, valuable pointers about how best to perform my exercises, and she answered every question (of which there were many) clearly, concisely, and knowledgeably. I feel so lucky to have found her!

Experiencia fantástica: I was injured on the job about 3 weeks ago and the doctor order Physical Therapy, and since it was WC, I had to use SSM PT. I called about 5 different offices in the St. Louis area, unfortunately everyone was booked until after 10/31. After calling so many places, I actually went over to St. Mary’s PT in person and spoke with a gentleman name Tim at the desk. Tim was very compassionate to my situation and let me know that they too were booked up, but would keep my information and if they had an opening he would get me on the schedule. Needless to say, Tim kept in communication with me every step of the way and in less than 36 hours physical therapy was started. In a time where customer service, is a lost art, I was very impressed with Tim and his ability to be present and engaged to my needs and worked to assist in every way to get me on the tract to healing. Tim is truly what I see as St. Mary’s Mission in action. He truly, through his exceptional healthcare services, he definitely revealed the healing presence of GOD. Also, all of the staff that I have met, have been awesome, Steve(PT), Claire(PT), and the young lady at the desk(sorry forgot her name). Kudos to St. Mary’s Physical Therapy Department, for being “EXCEPTIONAL!”

Experiencia fantástica: I have never had such a great experience with physical therapy as I did with Kayla at SSM Health Physical Therapy. I have a rather embarassing condition and wasn't sure what PT could do to help but I was willing to give it a try. Kayla made me feel completely comfortable and had a wonderful way of explaining why I was having my issue and how she was going to help me. With just the first visit I am so much better, I can't believe it. All the staff were very welcoming and the facility was clean and organized. I highly recommend SSM PT

She listened to my issues and asked great questions that helped me further understand my pelvic floor problems. She was friendly, professional, gentle, and informative. Experiencia fantástica: I've had my second therapy appointment. Breanne and Meghan were BOTH very good at their jobs. Both were thorough, and attentive and listened to my symptoms. They both agreed with the program the other had set up for me. I have a total of 6 appointments and expect by the time we're finished, my neck issues will be resolved and I like that they each gave me a set of easy exercises to do at home. I really feel much better after I've met with them, and I would recommend this Physical Therapy group to everyone. I've observed others as well and ALL of the people who work there are very, very kind. Don't hesitate to sign up with SSM Heath Therapy. It has all been a positive experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Patrick Porter, PT is fantastic! I was suffering with a horrible Vertigo attack that landed me in Urgent Care a couple of weeks ago, requiring a Brain CT Scan. After being misdiagnosed by an ENT with Migraines, then correctly diagnosed by a Neurologist with BPPV, I was referred to SSM Health Physical Therapy and got an appointment within a couple of days of my call. My appointment was with Patrick. I was honestly skeptical regarding any sort of alleviation for my debilitating symptoms. I couldn't drive, let alone walk across the floor without assistance. Not only did Patrick conduct a successful positional maneuver to correct the problem, he did it while providing me with the emotional support and assurance I needed almost as much as I needed the maneuver. He is extremely skilled and knowledgeable! In addition he showed me vestibular exercises to do at home in order to help in the "eye, brain, and ear" response to my issue. I am very impressed and beyond grateful to him!

Experiencia fantástica: The SSM PT clinic is efficiently run. The atmosphere is pleasant. You never have to wait to be seen. Our therapist, Ben Modde knows how to relate to his clients. He is knowledgeable, has a good sense of humor, and is respectful and sensitive to my husband's needs to take short breaks. At the same time he works him as much as he can tolerate.

Experiencia fantástica: The two therapist I have worked with ( Julia & Claire ) are GREAT!!! therapist. They explain to you all that they will be doing and if you feel that you can go farther, than they will go that extra mile with you. My recent surgery on May 20, 2021, I wanted to do more than the doctor had as my limitation, so Claire, gentle, but stern, impressed upon me that I have six (6) weeks to reach my goal and beyond, so let's just take it slow for now, " You'll need it in the weeks to come!" (smile)

She is working with me by giving me exercises to accomplish my goals of strengthening my hips, Balance, and walking up and down stairs. Claire gives you encouragement And has a positive attitude. Experiencia fantástica: 100/10. Kayla Dougherty is amazing and helped me through the whole process. Through all the exercises, she walked me through and really made sure I understood what I needed to do before moving on to the next exercise. Before meeting Kayla, I really struggled with how I was feeling and if I was being dramatic or if it was a real pain that needed to be addressed. She was able to help me realize I wasnt being dramatic and we could fix my problems! Another aspect of what I was going through could be controlled through my thought process and figuring that out the first day I went to her was game changing! I really thought I was going to live with my circumstance for the rest of my life, she really has had a great impact on my life!

Experiencia fantástica: My therapist Patrick is the BEST!!! I’ve been living with knee pain for 3+ years, even had 2 cortisone shots hoping to find relief. Unfortunately they didn’t work so I called my primary physician & she recommended therapy. Had I not gone to SSM Health Physical Therapy it may have been another 3 years before I found out that it is my pelvis that’s causing so much pain. From the bottom of my heart I thank you Patrick for the diagnosis & daily physical therapy plan which is definitely relieving the PAIN

I didn't work with anyone else but I could see and hear them engaging with others in the PT room and I was very impressed. I highly recommend this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: I have an extraordinary SSM physical therapist, Annette Tulley, PT. She is gifted with the ability to correctly identify the location of a structural problem, whether it be in the spine, a joint or a soft tissue injury and focus therapy on correcting the problem. I underwent therapy with her 10 years ago for a painful spine issue. She was able to find the problem and teach me methods to manage my symptoms. I have recently returned to her for a new spine problem and within 2 sessions I was improving, able to sleep through the night again instead of awakening with pain and heading for the couch to try to reduce my pain and get some sleep. Before receiving treatment by Annette I had been to multiple chiropractors and 3 different physical therapists. 2 of the physical therapists were very helpful, but one retired and the other is in Colorado. Each of the others "cook booked" it, putting me through what I came to recognize as a routine approach to low back pain. Their modalities worked for perhaps 15 minutes following each session before my pain and stiffness recurred. In contrast, Annette has provided me with stretches to perform on my own that I perform at intervals throughout my day. My pain is much less, my stiffness reduced significantly and my flexibility has increased to near-normal. Annette has an insightful understanding of the spine and back musculature and knows the stretches and strengthening to correct imbalances that create pain and stiffness. She is an excellent listener, is kind, friendly and confident, dispelling my fear that therapy would make things worse. I award her 5 stars.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience here was so good that I felt compelled to write my first Google review. :-) I was diagnosed with cervical stenosis and my primary care doctor said my options were to go on pain management or have surgery. I asked him about physical therapy and he said I could give it a try but it's usually not successful for cervical spine issues. I didn't have any place in mind but he wrote me a prescription for SSM St Mary's. Between what my primary doctor said and the general apathy in service that seems to be prevalent these days, I didn't have high expectations. Well, I was completely surprised - from the time Tim called to get me setup to my last of about a dozen visits, my experience was wonderful. My therapist, Julia, always listened to what was bothering me and employed a variety of techniques to help relieve my pain. What I appreciated most about her "bedside manner" was that she always took the time to explain the mechanics of the various exercises and how doing "X" would improve my situation. A lot of healthcare professionals seem to default to a mode of "just do what I say because you won't understand" and it's really insulting. Julia always demonstrated what seemed to be true empathy and I think this is worth mentioning because I believe genuinely caring as to whether or not someone is physical pain is something difficult to not get "numb" to in the clinical setting over time. All of the other therapists in the facility seemed to share the same concern and compassion for their patients as well. The icing on the cake is that Tim at the front desk always greeted everyone name and gave a hearty goodbye upon leaving. Where do you get that anymore?? Finally, I am happy to say that the treatment actually worked!! I realize my condition is degenerative and I may eventually have to resort to more invasive treatments but I am quite sure that by practicing the techniques Julia taught me, my quality of life will continue to be improved for many years.

Experiencia fantástica: Hannah was my therapist following surgery on my right hand. I found her to be very positive in the outcome of the therapy. She was professional, upbeat and a good listener. Moreover, she was forthcoming in answering questions and inter-active in demonstrating continuing exercises and routines for self-help at home. I would readily refer her as a therapist.

His friendly personality and manner makes the time spent go by quickly. All of the staff I have met when I have appointments have been very welcoming.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been very pleased with the PT I am receiving at SSM. My Therapist is Megan. She is a true professional, yet so down to earth that you feel comfortable talking to her. She is genuinely concerned with improving life, with realistic goals and she has motivated me in other ways, too. Clearly one of the best that I personally have encountered, and I’m not new to medical profession, nor PT. I would highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Annette Tully is a fabulous physical therapist; she was my PT 5 years ago after a partial knee replacement. She listened, looked, observed, and was able to formulate a plan to move forward to ease back pain. She is a consummate professional who was able to communicate with the students who were part of my session, keep me at ease and help me understand how the activities/exercises prescribed will impact my muscles.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a very good experience at my recent physical therapy session. I found the staff to be very nice and welcoming. I felt very comfortable, something I didn't expect on my first visit. The exercises were well instructed where I could understand each step. The therapist was very professional and patient. I am now doing those exercises at home through a video the therapist emailed to me. He said I would learn more exercises on my next visit.

Her expertise, productive use of my appointment time, and generous spirit make her a joy to work with. I have gained so much knowledge and confidence in my efforts for a full recovery, as well as a realistic understanding of what is required for recovery. He gave more insight and more knowledge about my knee situation than my surgery doctor did by far. He definitely helped my with preventative care which is what I need.
