Experiencia fantástica: Everyone works so hard with a smile on their faces! I think it’s a shame that they don’t hire more aids though. The lovely aids they have already are stretched too thin. I hope the owners give them raises before they give raises to themselves this year.

Experiencia fantástica: Ludlowe is a great place to visit as a performer as the staff are always energized and obviously love doing what they are doing. Today we had two aides who helped to lift the residents and made our job so much easier!

The care and compassion and love these people have is fantastic I’m so thankful that my sister is in Ludlowe and these wonderful human beings are there to care for her while I can’t due to her medical conditions! Experiencia negativa: The staff is terrible. They hire random foreigners who don't care about the job. My dying father struggled to get a response when he needed it most and we believe they let him die unattended in his weakest moments. He complained the nurses wouldn’t show up until 20 minutes after he rung the bell. If you leave a loved one here don’t trust the nurses. You will need to personally check up constantly. The supervisors are no help either, impossible to get a hold of and dodging all responsibility.

Great vent unit they have I wish it was more around in CT, please consider this a place to bring your loved one for rehab. My grandmother been there for 5 days and is doing more than she was at Village Green in Bristol and she was there almost a year. Experiencia negativa: Please do NOT take your loved one to this facility especially if they have dementia and cannot advocate for themselves. Very bad experience in their short term rehab. My husband had been in the ICU for 2 days and hospital stay for 3 more days before he went to Ludlowe. Right off the bat staff was unwilling and unable to take care of him properly. Staff lied (I was there) and immediately labeled him "combative" and a threat to others. Said he punched, scratched staff and had feces smeared all over his body. Not true, again, I was there. A few hours later when I was no longer there, they decided that he needed a "psych evaluation" and sent him back to the hospital by ambulance. He went by ambulance, was dropped off at the hospital and left on a stretcher in a hallway with no one from the rehab facility going with him. How can you send a patient with dementia for a "psych evaluation" all by himself and leave him there? He cannot answer questions, what were they thinking? Horrible place, do not send anyone you love there. They just wanted him out since apparently they did not want to overburden themselves by caring for my husband.

Reply to facility response below! No need to bring to management / leadership as they are aware of the awful treatment and care. If you want a better representation of Ludlow you can rename the facility “Tower of terror”

Experiencia fantástica: This the second rehab my husband has been in this year (separate incidents) and I am blown away by the care and attention he has received at Ludlowe. The staff is warm and friendly, his medical needs are taken care of without my needing to intervene and I would 100% choose Ludlowe again for him or any other family member.

I’m not just talking about those who cares for my mother but office staff, staff you see in the hallway and receptionist at front desk. You all have gone overboard and really show and display what it means to care. You don’t make it about you. I have nothing negative to say about Ludlow. YOUR THE BEST!

I love the decor. The staff who came in the room was also pleasant. One suggestion: I could have used guidance on the registration process, dont assume everyone knows. Overall I am pleased with the facility.

All the staff are wonderful and kind and more then willing to help out whenever needed. RN Mary and RN Tanya we’re both welcome and helping making my dads stay easier and comfortable.I can confidently say I wouldn’t have chosen a better rehab for my father .

Experiencia fantástica: My mom was admitted to Ludlow today from the hospital. All the staff was very positive and welcoming. Marie, a CNA was very kind and got my mom settled in comfortably. Nurse Shakira and Virginia were also kind and welcoming. Andrea in admissions was lovely. She got admission paperwork settled right away. Everything went very well even though my mom arrived later than anticipated. She was served a delish meal and was very happy when we left her this evening.

Experiencia fantástica: Hall areas, reception lobby, and my sister’s room was clean and orderly. Receptionist was cheerful and helpful assisting my wife and me in entering our personal information as first time visitors. Nurses and existing staff appear to be working extra hard possibly due to a staff shortage; however, things are still under control.

Experiencia fantástica: My dad was at Ludlowe for short term rehab for about 2 weeks. While he was there, the staff was attentive and kind and they treated him with dignity and respect. He wanted to be home by a certain date and the therapy team was able to work with him and make that happen. The facility is also extremely clean and beautiful! I would 10/10 times recommend this facility to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: The nurse was very aware of the needs of the patient I was visiting. “I do not want her to fall and hurt herself.” All the staff said hello to her and myself as I rolled her up and down the hallway. I left knowing she was cared for and I didn’t need to worry.

Experiencia negativa: Staff is unorganized and have an attitude my mother inlaw fell twice when a staff member seen her she said no one told her to be inpatient I have been there when the button was pressed and 1hr to 2hrs later they respond they say no one can bring in food but they have uber eats deliver food but u can't walk in with a beverage but then they offer u coffee for a dollar after u pass the 2nd set of doors I will never recommend anyone to this facility just horrible

Experiencia negativa: This place is dreadful. The PT is minimal. Most of the staff is either passive/aggressive or just plain hostile. The food is ridiculously awful. I cannot believe insurance companies are paying for this horror show.

Gave him a drug to quite him, than expected him to go to pt and walk. 3oclock in the afternoon, I walked in and he had no clothes on, standing in the room, full of blood. Nurses were never helpful. Didn’t talk to you.

Experiencia negativa: The worst facility I've ever dealt with. They never checked my mother in, I could not get in touch with a doctor to get an up date. Nurse lied about my mothers condition, I pulled her out of there! The worst!!

Experiencia positiva: There is no place as perfect as home. But this place is nice and clean. The staff are friendly. They are so caring to my brother who requires complete care and is dependent on them for feeding, turning and positioning, bathing, etc...they have done such a great job on him as far. They find time to get to know him and his likes/dislikes. The nurses and the PCAs are a maricle worker. We are very grateful for them.

This facility is horrible, the staff makes diagnosis of death falsely, recommended to place my grandmother on morphine, which would speed up her dying process, but guess what?! The week time frame they gave us for her to pass, it's been over 2 weeks and she's still ALIVE! Employees we have interacted with constantly tell us they are short staffed (I wonder why) inconsistent care, and over all causing major stress in our family. From forcing us to rush around alerting family members in other countries to finalizing funeral expenses. Then demanding payment of more than $2,000.00 for her medical bills, even though the fee to retrieve their records of $175.00 was paid. Whomever is the higher-up that insisted the receptionist not release these records, you are placing dollars over the lives of those in your care, SHAME ON YOU. Do expect to hear from an attorney on our behalf VERY soon.

Experiencia negativa: ...It's early days still, I probably overreacted last night - my first impression was unfavorable. The experience of the one individual I had interacted with was extremely poor. I have met many more people who work here since then, and they have been quite professional, friendly, courteous, and a pleasure. For the most part. Things are not fully sorted out yet and we need to work together on a common goal. The room I am in is small, but very nice. It is clean and comfortable. The food has been very good so far. The portions are generous and substitutions are available. Plus they will work with you to tailor the meals to suit your taste buds and your needs. The Medical Staff have been very professional and friendly/courteous/knowledgeable. They are on top of their game. No worries there. The place is safe and in a nice area. The staff is mostly good people. There are some bullies who work there, nasty people. Mostly the people "in charge". Arrogant. Nasty. Liars. I would NOT send someone I cared about here.

Back surgery in 2009, 2011 and then on September 28th 2022, I had my third and final surgery and when they said I had to go to rehab, I was like, fine I’ll be going to Ludlowe. They said you have to give us a second choice. I said Ludlowe. The said Chambrige is affiliated with them. They have done an amazing job in the past and I knew they could do it again. They have a healing atmosphere. From the cleaning staff to the social workers. The best darn Therapy Department hands down. The Aides, the nursing staff all pleasant. Everything runs like a smooth machine with one goal to be the way to get you home. Everyone feels like family. The food is amazing!! I’m not lying. I can’t wait to see what I picked. They know how to work with and please hurting people. If you need a place to heal or a place to send a family member. Here you/they are loved, you/they are not forgotten. It’s not what I heard, it’s what I know! I could go on and on but I believe I’ve stretched the box. If it wasn’t for Ludlow's care and concern my father would have died. The facility is beautiful and gives fantastic care.

Even though mom has dementia, she still comments on how nice the place is and how happy she is to be there. That goes a long way at putting my mind to rest.
