Experiencia fantástica: I went to Riverwood after a radical total knee replacement Nov. 2014, and my first impression was that the head physical therapist stayed late to greet me that evening! I was so frightened and in so much pain, and every step of the way, pun intended, the people at Riverwood took such amazing care of me with such kindness and spirit, just the right combination of compassion and push, that I felt as though I had been placed there by my loving God! From the young woman who cleaned my bathroom or the young woman who did my laundry, the nursing assistants and nurses, the office staff, to the PT and OT and the administrator, everyone was kind and compassionate and encouraging, and their physical facilities were everything I could have needed. By the time I left for home, I was able to take care of myself, and believe me, I was so afraid that would not happen. I even enjoyed the food, to the point that I want the head cook's meatloaf recipe, Grandma, forgive me! :>D I will be returning to Riverwood after my second knee replacement, since I have learned the value of such a facility, and most especially THIS facility. To give an indication of how I feel about Riverwood, once I am completely recovered and literally back on two good legs, I intend to return to Riverwood to do volunteer work.

Not only do they promote physical well being, but emotional and spiritual well being as well. In Riverwood we treat not just as a patient but as if you are a family. Also 5 star to the most hardworking DON that I've know and had worked for. She puts her heart & soul into teaching her nurses into making a difference in their patients life and making her nurses the best nurses they can be.

This place really prides itself on providing world class patient care and customer service! Experiencia fantástica: This is one of the more nicer cleaner and friendly facilities ive visited. This facility is very bright and clean from the minute you walk in. The receptionist is so sweet and willing to get out of her seat to show you the way. The nursing staff is always smiling and on the move. The cleaning staff is GREAT! Never a complaint. Usually in these places theres a "smell"...not here. The therapy team is awesome and so is they're Activity team. I noticed they have multiple bigger rooms for family's to spend more private times together and that is a plus. The special monthly dinner is always something to look forward to..kitchen staff goes all out for them this night. Not to mention how nice it looks in the dining room..All in all i say this is definitely a 5 star place for a loved one if needed. I have already recommended another family member go for therapy...keep it up guys.

Experiencia fantástica: my friend's family was admitted at riverwood and when we walk in to the building the staffs were very friendly and professionals. i would like to personally thank the Rehab Department without their help skilled and professionalism my friend grandma wont return home and to the community, Erwin from Rehab was always there whenever we need something. i would recommend Riverwood Healthcare Center for anyone looking for Rehabilitation services for their love ones.

Experiencia fantástica: Riverwood is located in a safe and asccesible place in the central valley followed by gated parking.Upon walking into the facility, smiles and cleanliness is the first things one should notice through walking through the double doors. Team work from the nursing staff charge nurses and assistants is commendable to meet patient needs in addition to housekeeping cleaning all rooms at all times of the day. But the all star part of this facility is the rehabilitation department. These group of people are just on another level of care. They truly put the word TEAM in team work. Their knoweledge of therapy and empathy towards each patient is like no other.One therapist named Mikey truly went above and beyond the needs for his patients and gave 100 percent devotion to his care during treatment. I would recommend any family member and friend to this building

Experiencia fantástica: I had a very good experience at Riverwood. After being there for a few days I wanted to be released because I was not comfortable. Bed was not working for me or the environment. I thought I could recover better at home. The Administrator came to see me to see what he could do. Within 25 hrs I was moved to another room where the accommodations met my needs. A recliner was moved into the room to help with my recovery. The stay was so much more than I expected and the medical staff helped with the recovery. They were awesome.

He brags on the great team of people he works with and the excellent care of the patients they take. Based on previous reviews I can see that the facility is clean, staff is warm and patients are cared for in love. I’m certain that it’s a comforting assurance for families to know their loved ones are in good hands.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m a CNA and first job was a TERRIBLE experience. We were always understaffed and our management team was rude. After moving to Riverwood, I love working with the staff here. I feel we are all a family. The CNA’s, the nurses, the kitchen staff, the housekeeping staff are so friendly! Our staffing coordinator is amazing at working on the schedule and is always working to help the CNA’s. I also love how our management is approachable and friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother was admitted to Riverwood care center after a fall and hip fracture at home. After her surgery, Riverwood was recommended for the best place for her to heal and get back her independence. The recommendation was spot on. The truly empathetic staff were great for here care. And the most important the Rehab was AMAZING. The manager Erwin broke down the protocol for me and left my family at ease. The initial evaluations were done by Mike the best PT, and a Chinese OT guy. Overall I highly recommended Riverwood, as my mother was able to walk out of there with a smile.

The Therapy staff is very attentive to patient's needs and returning them home in their highest achievable level of function. As a team, Therapy, along with the Administrative, Nursing, and House Keeping staff, give patients the best possible stay as far as communication, cleanliness, and comfort, that they can recieve at a facility. I would trust a beloved family member as a patient in the care of Riverwood Healthcare Center.

From what I heard the staff are treated well there and the people who stay for their post acute care are treated with respect and dignity and receive the best care in Stockton, California. If I ever need rehab I recommend this place.

We are always here to help every family member and resident with what they need. I love it when it’s a residents birthday , it’s really a party up in here because everyone gets together to dance , sing and eat really good food. I enjoy chatting with residents here because their stories are really interesting, touching , nice and fun to listen too. I even like when they do arts and crafts because they end up showing me what they finish and it be so nice to look at .

Experiencia fantástica: My sister-in-law works here, she is always telling us about happy she is with her job and the people she works with. I have seen the facility and it is definitely one of the best in the area, very clean and very friendly staff. I saw physical therapists working with some patients and they looked so enthusiastic to be helping others. I would certainly recommend this facility!

Experiencia fantástica: I have not personally been to the facility, but I have known the manager of the facility for over 27 years. He is a man if integrity, a compassionate and caring human being, and always does the right thing. I have followed his career over the years and I can say without any hesitation whatsoever, if my parents needed a long term facility and they lived close to there, they would be in there hands down. Mr Goring puts people first and makes sure things are done the correct way for the right reasons.
