He is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. I can see how others are treated while at my own appointment and everyone gets top-notch treatment. Patience and kindness with lots of encouragement are always used while trying to get people back to feeling stronger. I know I certainly appreciate that. She diagnosed exercises for my new right hip and also for my back problem from 5 years ago. The front office crew is very nice and courteous on the phone and in person. Appointments are prompt and the staff is very friendly and thorough. My PT, Matthew is very caring and listens well. I’m already feeling better after three visits for a frozen shoulder. I feel hopeful and equipped with home exercises to round out my overall treatment plan. Very upbeat atmosphere and the entire staff is super friendly! So thankful!!

It was devastating to leave someone behind who had such a major positive impact on my physical health and mental well being! I’m happy to report after 4 years of searching, I found my Florida PT with Matt W at Select Physical Therapy. He is extremely knowledgeable, listened to my issues, showed me what he felt was going on and gave me exercises to address my pain. After a week, I feel so much better than I have in the last 3 months!!! And the best news is that his office is a 3 minute car drive from my house :).

Experiencia fantástica: Favorite place get therapy. I’ve been at least 3x to this location for various injuries I’ve incurred while playing soccer. Each time I’ve received the same level of enthusiasm and dedication to my recovery for every staff member. Most recently, I had Lindsay as my therapist. She’s an incredible trainer, very knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about her craft. I did not expect to snowboard and play soccer within a month of a strained hamstring and she made that possible. I still have more strengthening to do with my hamstrings (and other supporting muscles I was not aware I needed to train) but thanks to her, I have the tools and knowledge to keep progressing in my recovery and continue playing while in the process. 10/10 would recommend this fine establishment.

She technically skilled but also strikingly informed of the science behind her work, so her descriptions of why we do things is motivating and confidence-building. I do not like to take pills to mask the pain but prefer to know why I have it and what to do to relieve it. Kim has been my therapist each time. She is amazing! She has a great knowledge of the body and knows just how to use her hands to pinpoint the origin of the pain and showed me with each session, different stretches and things to do to help myself feel better. If all Doctors utilized knowledge of the human body as Kim does, we would not need medication for every ache or unexplained pain. But most importantly Matthew my physical therapist is calm supportive and explains everything very clearly. I have had physical therapy on my other knee at another company. They actually did damage to my knee. I feel very safe with Matthew taking care of my knee and leg.

It has grown since I first went there four years ago, but the pioneers are all still there. Kim, Nan and Kelly are always on their toes giving expert undivided attention to whomever they are attending. My greatest experience has been with Kim. She is extremely patient, spot on with her evaluations, quick to address the issues and a true healer of ailments. Regardless of the body part, she manages to assess the issue with expedience and accuracy and not only addresses the issue but relieves one's mind of fear. The pain relief is physical as well as mental! Everyone at Select Physical is both pleasant and professional and their treatment is very personalized. Nobody hesitates to communicate with the other on any matter and everything flows smoothly regardless of the number of patients. Stacy is a very experienced Physical Therapist with great advises and expert knowledge that helped me start the process to encourage ankle movement, regain full range of motion, independence and strength. As an Occupational Therapist of 27 years who has been exposed to many PT clinics, I go to Select when I am seeking out individualized, quality care. Stacey provided a comprehensive evaluation of my posture, sacroiliac joint and past medical history, which led to a swift diagnosis. Stacey then educated me, and empowered me to continue the healing process, taking time to be sure that my husband also understood the plan of care! I had an incredible amount of relief after one treatment, despite initially struggling to get out of the car in the parking lot. I am incredibly grateful to have been in Stacey's care today, and left knowing that I have the tools to treat my injury, and a therapist who is committed to helping me do just that. Bravo Select PT- there is no other way to rehab- period.

The atmosphere is friendly and positive which is important for their patients of all ages- especially the somewhat elderly ( my classification ! ). The methods and applications for effective treatment are efficient and right on target. Each appointment is planned and supervised well so that every client feels confident that the healing process is doable. Personally, I have experienced treatment for two injuries and have had very successful outcomes. All the therapists seem to be willing and able to tackle any problem we "throw their way". More we cannot ask.

My therapist Mellisa is very personable and easy to talk to which is great because the communication is important in the assistance to heal the patient. I had a pain level of about 7/8 in my back when I started and with her help I’m down to a comfortable 3 which is my normal level due to my condition. I highly recommend Select PT!

Experiencia fantástica: Recently, I moved to the Tampa area and was looking for a physical therapist. I was recommended to Select Physical Therapy. I chose the facility in south Tampa because of where I live. I had major back surgery, a year ago, and am still having some pain issues. I am trying to avoid another surgery and just want to be pain free. In the short time I have worked with Maude, she has given me therapy exercises that are helping me become pain free. Unfortunately, I have worked with many therapists,over the years, either because of my rehabilitation or as a retired high school coach and administrator my athletes were in therapy. I can tell you that Maude is the BEST therapist that I have ever worked with!!! The atmosphere in the clinic is very positive. The other therapists working with their patients make sure the prescribed exercises are being done correctly. I have been in clinics where I was a piece of meat. The therapists had to many patients and couldn’t give the proper attention needed to perform the exercises correctly. I would cheat on my exercises or do them incorrectly. I have not found that to be true at Select. Personalized attention is given to the patients. I highly recommend this facility because the atmosphere is not only very professional but friendly. Ask for Maude.

Nan has provided thoughtful, practical, and compassionate treatment and she has patiently and kindly helped me get moving again.
