Experiencia fantástica: When it came time for me to finally rehabilitate my ankle I was a little apprehensive as to whether or not I needed professional guidance. I must say that I am extremely grateful to have stepped foot inside this clinic. The staff was incredibly welcoming and they made the hour there fun and comfortable. They are knowledgeable and they impart that wisdom in a manner that makes even the most complicated intricacies of the anatomy of an injury seem within comprehension. i would, without hesitation, recommend this clinic.

I was struggling with a string of running overuse injuries and Kelly, my PT, was able to quickly diagnose and fix my issue so I could get back to training. The staff provides a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and Kelly does a wonderful job of providing plenty of individual attention to her clients. I was very pleased with my overall experience, and even more impressed with how quickly I improved. I would highly recommend going here!

Experiencia fantástica: My therapist, Kelly DeJong, is the best! She is so patient and knowledgeable! She used the Graston technique on my thumbs following my trigger thumb surgery. This, along with her recommended stretches and exercises, brought full recovery to me thumbs! My husband is so thrilled to hear me play the piano again and we are to, once again, do gardening and yard work together! Highly recommended, ask for Kelly!

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Kelly DeJonge each visit and she is a true credit to her profession--absolutely superb! The receptionist, Ms. Nicole Herrera, was aways polite, courteous, caring, and had a smile on her face. Both Kelly and Nicole were very accommodating working with me and my numerous schedule changes. Experiencia fantástica: I went to this CORA location when I dislocated my knee. The staff is very supportive and friendly. My PT, Kelly, was a great person to work with while I had to do my rehab each visit, she would always get to know you and ask how you were doing while she was going through the exercises with you. I would recommend this location and the CORA Rehabilitation was very accommodating for planning a financial payment plan as well.

Personally, I have been a patient there on and off for many years and each time, the therapist, that work with me or invested in seeing me, reach my full potential and helping me reach my goals they are professional and listen as well as educate, they make therapy fun as well as challenging me to the next level for the best outcome possible. They also do a great job of educating future physical Therapist as many students get the chance to learn firsthand in the clinic as physical Therapist, that work at cora are always willing to pass on their knowledge and educate the future generations to come in the profession.

Experiencia fantástica: I chose CORA because it was the closest physical therapy practice to my house, and I’m really happy I did. As a mature athlete, I’ve been through physical therapy for various injuries throughout the years, and CORA is the best I have found. Here is what sets CORA apart from the rest: 1) Personal attention: my first visit was a thorough assessment with measurements and a survey on what movements were causing me pain. This is probably standard, but the difference here is the level of care and personal attention that the physical therapists put into the assessment. Habi, the doctor completing my intake assessment, was thorough, observant, and patient in answering the myriad questions I had about my condition and really helped me feel positive about starting my recovery program even though I had been living with the pain for almost two years. At the end of the assessment, I was given a plan printed out with stretches I needed to do at home, and some band exercises were demonstrated to me that I’d do in the office. And I took away a little bit of hope that maybe I could get through this and get back to doing the activities I loved and was close to giving up on. 2) Expertise: CORA are experts who really know what they’re doing. At every single visit, I learned something new about my condition, and about proper form, pacing, and paying attention to how the exercises felt so that I didn’t exacerbate the injury. I learned to speak up when it hurt or something didn't feel right, and I can’t say enough about how amazing Kelly, Jeremy, and Habi are at modifying the exercises so that I’m within the proper range of motion or correct form. They also do an excellent job of prescribing the appropriate moves for my condition – which should go without saying, but I’ve had other physical therapy practices waste my time and money by prescribing exercises and treatments that did not work. The DPT here, Habi, is more than a doctor – he is an educator and obviously really enjoys sharing his knowledge with his patients. The physical therapists at CORA are clearly kept current with the most recent research-based treatments. This meant my condition was treated properly and I healed faster, which makes me an extremely satisfied client. 3) Monitoring: throughout the course of treatment I was monitored, measured, and re-assessed periodically to ensure that my course of treatment was working. At other PT practices I’ve been prescribed exercises and then kind of left alone with minimal check-in or monitoring. I really think CORA’s adherence to monitoring my progress, then tweaking my program to ensure it was more effective, contributed to my recovering as quickly as I did. 4) Environment: CORA is a really supportive and positive environment where clients are welcomed warmly from the very first phone call by Nicole and Mike and then supported and encouraged throughout the recovery process by the DPT and PTs. Many of the other clients are friendly and encouraging and we ended up chatting and cheering each other on at times. I know I found a great place because on "graduation day", when I was released from in-clinic treatment, I was really happy to be feeling better, but sad to leave. I think when you’re injured, no matter how that injury happened, you come in feeling a bit vulnerable. But at CORA you’re in good hands and you will be treated with care, support and encouragement. I also overheard other patients expressing how much they love the therapists and staff at this location. I am so deeply grateful that now I have some experts close by whom I can call if I hurt myself again. Thank you, CORA!

Experiencia fantástica: Hurrah, finished with therapy and feeling great. Two total knee replacements and additional emergency surgery for ruptured quad after an accident. My therapist, Kelly was awesome with my treatment. I don’t know how she put up with me some days, the ruptured quad hurt a lot at first but she got me through over a year, approximately 192 visits and l have no complaints. She got me to do the exercises I did not want to do and now my legs work as they should and if I need treatment for anything else in the future, I’ll be back. And Nicole did a fantastic job of scheduling my appointments, appropriately 192. A huge Thanks to both of you and two other team members.

Experiencia fantástica: I should have posted this months ago when I finished my therapy, but better late than never. The staff at CORA (from the front desk to the therapist) are all friendly and professional. A credit to their company and to their profession. They helped me recover from my BKA. I would often tell my family it was like your own personal cheerleaders. They challenged you to do more and I learned, at times I felt forced to learn how to maneuver with my prosthetic. They ALL are an asset and when you are adjusting to changes in your life, it is important to have professional and friendly helpful people in your world

Experiencia fantástica: I travel an extra 10 miles each way to use the services of CORA North Tampa. There is an office just 8 miles from me, but the therapists at North Tampa have been providing me with physical therapy services for 2 years now. Kristen, Kelly & Marisa have helped me recover a great deal of my quality of life, challenging me without exceeding my limits or risking injury. Because of these ladies, I'm setting goals for myself I never would have considered just two years ago. This work couldn't have gotten accomplished though without the help of Nicole & Amber in the office, setting & resetting my appointments without complaint, playing the intermediary between my insurance company and doctor's office, making sure all the t's are crossed & i's dotted. Throughout this time, I've felt confident in their efforts to contain the spread of this virus we're dealing with. Masks are always in place & equipment is cleaned consistently between client uses. I've never been disappointed with the service I receive, nor with the friendly atmosphere at the center.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Goldsmith is an incredible and experienced surgeon. My total hip replacement is a success and I am able to walk without the use of my walker and cane within 7 weeks. I'm still in physical therapy and I take it one day at a time until I am fully recovered. Thank you Dr. Goldsmith and The staff at Memorial Hospital of Tampa for the excellent care I received.

Experiencia fantástica: I just wanted to explain why I gave Cora Physical Therapy North Tampa on Bruce B Downs a five star rating. I have worked with each lady there and they are absolutely amazing in everything that they do. I utterly enjoy going there each day because they really have helped regain my mobility back in my hands because I had extensive surgery on both of my hands and was in a lot of pain: but now that pain is honestly nonexistent and I am almost back to complete recovery in both of my hands. Also with everything going on with the virus they truly take protecting, sanitizing, social distancing, screening, monitoring, and cleansing every single object/piece of equipment that was used after each use to the next level. Each lady does their job with a smile and I am so thankful to each of these ladies here at Cora Physical Therapy North Tampa! I huge thank you to Kelly, Marissa, Kristen, Dawn, Nicole and Amber, you ladies rock (All equivalently PHENOMENAL)!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going to this location since March 2020. I am very happy with the therapy I’ve been receiving. Every employee at this office is kind, respectful, and knowledgeable of there job, From then to now my knee is getting better every day and I’m happy with the therapy I’ve received so far. Honestly the therapy was tough in the beginning and through doing the exercises, my knee feels like I never had the knee surgery. I am great full for choosing the north Tampa location. Experiencia fantástica: I had shoulder surgery over 2 months ago, and have been regularly attending physical therapy since then. The therapists are very skilled and knowledgeable, in addition to being encouraging, challenging, and friendly. My recovery is well ahead of schedule thanks to the exceptional treatment I've received from Cora. My range of motion and strength are almost back to where they were pre-surgery, and soon will be back to where they were pre-injury. Thank you Cora staff!

Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience with CORA Physical Therapy at the North Tampa facility. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming, but special kudos goes to my physical therapist, Kelly, who was nothing short of spectacular! She is extremely knowledgeable and provided me with a customized challenging routine for the 15 sessions that I had with them as well as activities to do while at home. Thanks to Kelly, I now have full range of motion again in my right shoulder.

Which if it wasn't for them the surgery wouldn't have happen, they figured out how bad of a work injury I had. Experiencia fantástica: Following my knee replacement surgery, I chose to use the Cora facility in North Tampa for physical therapy. Cora was specifically recommended by my Orthopedic surgeon. I give Cora the highest rating (five stars) for the following reasons. The office staff always welcomed me when I arrived for my appointments which started the appointment on a positive note. Sometimes I had to change days or hours of appointments and they were always accommodating and helpful. I was seen by several physical therapists over time and all were cheerful and competent. Two therapists “Kristen” and “Marisa” stand out in my mind for both were especially professional. They had positive attitudes and always explained why a particular exercise was necessary. Even though they both stayed very busy with other people I always felt I was getting personal service for they watched over me and made sure I was doing the exercise correctly. I attribute my success in post surgery rehabilitation especially to these two Individuals and highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: I would give this place and its staff 10/5 stars if I could. First time ever going to PT and it was an enjoyable experience for a high grade ankle sprain. Nicole and Amber are always welcoming and incredibly friendly. It was always a pleasure taking to them. The therapists I worked with (Kelly, Kristen, Marissa) were knowledgeable, nice, and fun to be around. They all work well together and get along great with themselves and patients. They always help each other out and are aware of everyone’s therapy so they can help anyone out at anytime. They come up with best therapy for you and help you in the best way possible while pushing you to get better. They also will give you equipment that you need to help at home. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my 3rd time going to physical therapy for a hip/glute issue. I was referred to Cora North Tampa by a fellow runner. On the first day, Kelly had me run on the treadmill and she noticed something. No one else had me do that. I've had tenderness in my glute medius area, very painful since March 2018. I've seen Sports Med Drs, had injections and more. After 2 1/2 months of visits, I am pain free! Thank you to the amazing staff there! Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Best place to do therapy!!!!!! I’ve been visiting Cora physical therapy for about a year and a half now. I’ve had the best experience and rehabilitation for my upper body. The staff are extremely friendly and sweet. When I first came in for my first appointment, both kelly and Kristen took extremely good care of me. They both worked hard and provided the best care. Now, I’m happy to say I’m am fully recovered. It has been a long great journey!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: The neatest place for having your body rehabilitated - knee, back, shoulders! From the staff at the reception to the therapists, they are all so warm and friendly! Kristen and Kelly are absolute gems, guiding the patient through a series of exercises appropriate to the degree of improvement! And they do it with warmth, humor and loads of patience! Add the effervescent and ever smiling Nicole at the Reception - and they have Rebecca and Rachel as super sub backups - for me, it has been an amazing experience! The kind where you want to drop in from time to time just to say hello - like family!

They did a good job in getting my strength back, the girls are very good and knowledgeable specially with Kristen in her effort in learning Spanish so that she can communicate with the patients. it's a very good place to go to very nice very respectful even the front desk girl she stays on top of everything. I injured my hand working out and our PT (Kelly) had mixed patience and understanding with the right amount of guidance to get me back to working out (and in fact, using my hand at all) very quickly!! On another occasion, Kelly helped my daughter, who is an avid dragon boater and on crew, to get rehabilitated and back to her water sports!!! Again, she used patience along with my daughter's drive to return her to "her" sport and it worked great!!! My daughter's recovery stayed on track, making us all happy and satisfied with Cora!!! The other staff members there are also friendly!! Nicole worked with our bust schedule to get us into the office with as few interruptions in work/school as possible!! Thank you Kelly and Cora!!!!

My knee is getting better I'm able to bend a little more each day. Kelly and Kristen have great attitudes and they know what they are doing .
