Experiencia fantástica: Garrett is a great therapist, solved the problem that I went there for. Central location with good parking in south Tampa. I highly recommend Back to Work.

Experiencia fantástica: Garrett is an experienced and excellent therapist. We had a referral for cardiac rehab, he spoke on the phone to understand patient needs. The sessions covered a broad range of exercises, he taught breathing techniques and how to get up from a fall. The patient has progressed a lot, posture and gait have improved Thank you, Garrett.

Experiencia fantástica: As a retired PT I needed help with a reoccurring back problem. I had met Ann Marie and Garrett in 2021. I had the opportunity to see them care for patients at BTW. Now, I was the patient. Both Ann Marie and Garrett provided excellent care. From their assessment to the treatment plan they provided a logical and realistic approach. They understood my situation and had me target muscle groups for flexibility and strengthening. They both provided individual instructions and continued to make the exercises challenging. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a professional team ( Garrett, Ann Marie, Harper Lee) at South Tampa Back To Work. I now have a good plan to keep my back healthy.

Experiencia fantástica: I was seen by Garrett during the duration of my visits for my shoulder, and he did an amazing job. He broke down explaining to me why we were doing what we were and what we were targeting. He showed interest in each patient of his as he would ask me and other individuals personable questions as he knew us more than just another person being seen. I also was seen by Joe, who was able to pick up right where Garrett left off for that session and he was just as informative and able to work with me as he would. The overall facility was always clean and organized, incredibly friendly staff. If I ever need physical therapy for anything else while I am in Tampa, this will be the only place I would consider.

My leg would go numb after standing for even short periods of time before I started therapy, and now I’m standing as long as I want I’m not scared to go out by myself anymore. I absolutely recommend this place and its therapists!!! I’m so glad this was the place I chose for my care, Ann Marie and Garrett are the just the best

Experiencia fantástica: I herniated a disk over a year ago, and went to a few therapists with no results. By November of 2021 resigned myself to a life of "decent" days where I could sit at a desk and do my job, and days where I had to call in to work because I could not get out of bed. Days where I couldn't stand, I couldn't sit, I could only lay on my back and hope the pain didn't get any worse. I wasn't a surgery candidate and nobody had any answers. I thought my life was pretty much over. I was referred to Back to Work and within 3 months I am back in the gym, taking it easy but doing what I thought I'd never do again. I cannot praise them highly enough.

Experiencia fantástica: Now that my PT has ended, I miss my favorite "clinic characters." Garrett and AnneMarie not only were able to help me safely rehab my elbow/arm back to full functioning mobility....they also taught me about my aging body and ways I can keep from further stressing my joints. Experiencia fantástica: I entered therapy for a total knee replacement a little bit behind but I’m short order I was up to speed. After six weeks I was discharged and couldn’t be happier. The staff is professional and always timely. I will definitely recommend Back To Work and will use again when I have my other knee replaced.

Experiencia fantástica: EDIT: The wonderful staff and Kaitlin, an excellent Physical Therapist, DPT, have all left this practice. Probably due to the toxic work environment that I witnessed out of the owner. I have found Kaitlin at her own practice, ALL THINGS PHYSICAL, in downtown Tampa. As an accident victim, I continue to see her to remedy multiple issues that have plagued me, due to a distracted driver. Because of Kaitlin's knowledge and skills, I have been able to avoid surgery for TMJ, in fact she remedied it to the point that my jaw NO LONGER clicks or gets stuck. She was able to resolve hand pain and swelling. She continues to help with reducing and eliminating pains throughout my body. P.S. Please don't text and drive. I am permanently injured because another driver did. OLD REVIEW Fun, friendly therapists helping you to rebuild your body, reduce pain and increase mobility. They were all friendly, professional and helpful and did their best to educate me about the recovery process, what each of the exercises was to accomplish, and the importance of my participation in the process. My special thanks to Garrett who was my primary guide through this new experience, from initial evaluation to release. I am totally satisfied with everything we accomplished. Experiencia fantástica: Posting again about Back to Work. A couple years back I posted them as 3 stars because of the person at the front desk. The therapists were great but not the front desk person. BUT, I recently had to go back and everything was terrific. So, I wanted to be fair and post an updated post. The therapists are terrific here. Garrett, Joe, etc are all great. If you live in South Tampa and have not heard of this place....you should check them out. AND the front desk person there now is terrific. So, just wanted to follow up with a 5 star!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Back to Work PT in South Tampa for both shoulder and hip pain. Garrett, Joseph, and Anne Marie were all wonderful to work with. They successfully maintain a friendly and helpful atmosphere within their clinic, while also providing top tier instruction and demonstration in all the movements/exercises. Not only are they knowledgeable in their field, but they are innovative and they are willing to work with you to achieve safer and healthier movement. Garrett, Joseph, and Anne Marie are professionals in their craft and they’re goal is to improve your freedom of movement and quality of life. They’re damn good at it! Additionally, Kristin was incredibly kind, and helpful with setting up appointments. Overall, I had a great experience and wish them all the best.

Experiencia fantástica: I had major foot surgery on my left in September 2022. Did not walk for 6 weeks. Garret got me back by building my feet building my core strength and balance. I had less invasive surgery on my right foot in May 2022. Select PT provide me very mediocre PT. In fact, my left foot is back to normal and Garret is providing me PT for my right foot. I lost the window of opportunity last June to recover. However, Garret is working miracles working on my right foot and I am feeling and seeing great improvement. Pick the right PT. Go to Back to Work the first time!

Experiencia fantástica: I really enjoyed working with the staff. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable and their business model was very well organized. Any of the staff could see what the latest results were and pick up the activities right where the former staff person had left it. I received relief after my first visit and after the 6th visit, my entire back pain was gone. The remaining 4 visits were also helpful as I was able to increase my strength in my legs, my core, and my back. Very satisfied customer!

Experiencia fantástica: I worked with Katie Essick (soon to be Carpenter) for two months after undergoing a cervical spinal fusion. When I started with Kate, I couldn’t lift much of anything without pain. Two months later, I carry my 25-pound son around with ease. Household chores (dishwasher, laundry, etc.) that used to be unbearable are now a breeze. I fully credit Katie and the rest of the Back to Work South Tampa Team for my recovery. You will not find a more knowledgeable and skilled group of physical therapy professionals in the Tampa Bay Area. Your questions will be answered with patience. Your setbacks -- and you will have some -- will be met with compassion. Perhaps most importantly, you will have fun. I can’t recommend Katie and the folks at Back to Work South Tampa highly enough. If you are looking for a physical therapist in South Tampa, look no further!

I've been coming here for treatment for several months. I also experienced challenges with healing after surgery on both knees, but I must say they are the best team i've ever experienced-leading by example by demonstrating the excercises and ensuring I am doing them correctly. That's dedication! The unique treatment each member incorporates and changes to suit my theraputic needs provides different methods of relief. They care about my well being and demonstrate excercises to help my knees/back get better. The routine actually feels like a workout each time and helps me strengthen my core as well. I can't thank the BTWPT team enough!! Great work and healing environment!

Experiencia fantástica: Back To Work is the only thing that keeps me going! Knees, elbow, shoulder and spine - they've managed it all. They are expert at making the muscles that should do the work actually do the work. They relieved my terrible shoulder pain by strengthening my upper back muscles.

The therapist here are wonderful, they were able to diagnose my issue immediately and taught me all of the necessary steps to get back to normal (shout out to Ray and Kaitlin!). I’m highly active and at just over 30 y/o, I had a lower back issue that gave me a lot of pain, prevented me from running, and interferred with my everyday activities. I asked Katie to help me get stronger than I was before due to some occupational demands. Katie and Kaitlin Coughlin took the time to research my problem and develop some innovative methods. After several months I’m back to running, lifting, and taking everyday head-on. Thank you so much!

Experiencia fantástica: Back to Work Physical Therapy is the most professional, safest and knowledgeable physical therapy company that I have ever gone to. I have been going here for over 20 years and they have treated my Tennis Elbow, 2 knee replacements and a variety of other sports related injuries. They are thorough, caring and have the most innovative processes to cure pain issues for the average person up to the extreme athlete.

Experiencia fantástica: Yes, I would recommend Back to Work for Physical Therapy and I have already. The two therapists I have worked with Kaitlyn and Ray are both knowledgeable and personable. I have been there two different times for different issues. I also appreciate that the facility is relatively small so that it isn’t noisy and feels like I am getting very personalized attention. The person doing the scheduling is both pleasant and competent. I would not hesitate to ask any Dr. to refer me there.

Experiencia fantástica: I attended the South Tampa Back to Work Therapy office for four months due to a broken arm. The staff was outstanding. They were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. My primary therapist was Katie Essick. She was incredible. After an assessment, she took the time to explain to me the treatment plan and the correct execution of the exercises. She was supportive of my needs and concerns and was a great motivator. Katie’s co- workers’; Kaitlin Coughlin and Rayko are terrific. They are engaged in their profession and are caring. Natashalee was very patient with my constant schedule changes. She took care of all of my insurance claims as well as referrals from my orthopedic. I highly recommend Back to Work Physical Therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: They helped me out so much after I let an injury go too long. Ray and Kaitlin helped me realize how to utilize so many different muscles in a more constructive way. I had gotten pretty hopeless that my ankle would never get better but they had me up and going without pain within 2 months. Cannot say enough good things about this place! Having appointments available after work hours was a huge plus. I also love that they put all of your exercises into an app so you can keep them as long as you need to.
