Experiencia fantástica: Renewal Rehab is by far the best physical therapy office I've been to, and trust me I've been to a lot. The staff in south Tampa, from employees at the desk to the therapist, make you feel at home and comfortable from the start. When you have an injury it's hard to feel positive and motivated to heal, but the men and women at Renewal Rehab do everything they can to get you back on track. They even make themselves available for you to contact them, at any time, when you have a question or just need some motivation. They'll push you through hard workouts, that you'll probably hate, but in the end it benefits you to the fullest. I've been a patient for about 8 months now, due to an ACL injury, and the improvements I've made amazes me. I could not have done it without them. I've seen many other patients come in and out throughout my time here and I am impressed by how each one of them improves quickly. I am happy that I made the decision to be a patient of theirs and want to thank their amazing desk staff and their outstanding therapists!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Renewal Rehab with a hip and knee injury which had me in excruciating pain. After about 4 to 6 therapy sessions I was feeling better that I had in a long time. Mike pinpointed exactly what my problem was and they set up a therapy regiment that really targeted the areas of concern. The three therapists at Renewal Rehab are extremely knowledgeable and very skilled in their field. I like that it is a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere when you are there. The office staff and the therapists are very friendly and they go the extra mile for their patients. I have been to several other therapists in the past and Renewal Rehab is by far the best. I would highly recommend them if you find yourself in need of therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff at Renewal Rehab has been wonderful throughout my physical therapy following bicep repair surgery. While I am hardly a patient person, they have worked so well to design a personal rehab strategy that let me progress as fast as possible, while still making sure that I didn't cause my own set back:) I have worked with each and every therapist in the office and they all exhibit the same level of personal care and attention. The owner has put together an impressive center and staff. Hopefully I will never need physical therapy again, but if I do, I would definitely trust my recovery to this great rehabilitation center.

It was evident during my first visit that Mike Anastasas takes a unique approach to physical therapy. Unlike other places I have been in the past, Mike and his team are very knowledgeable, supportive, take time to listen and answer questions, and truly care about their patients. PT was recommended to me as an alternative to shoulder surgery and within a few weeks of starting at Renewal Rehab, my strength and range of motion had improved noticeably and the pain had diminished significantly. Over time thanks to these PT sessions, I've seen steady improvement. Mike and his staff are all helpful and supportive and willing to go the extra mile to ensure you get a program specifically tailored to your situation, condition and needs. I travel extensively for work, but the staff at Renewal Rehab are always willing to make sure they can fit me in for a session. The entire staff has been wonderful to everyone in our family, meeting and exceeding our expectations in providing a speedy recovery in ACL reconstruction , several sprain knees, a sprained ankle, and overall fitness. Experiencia fantástica: My first day at Renewal Rehab was scary. I had never been to any rehab before. The staff was terrific and within a few days I felt like a close friend. When things didn't go well, they would cheer me on, and say that it was OK that it wasn't working that day. I would come in for my therapy with a smile on my face, and try to find ways to say that it was fun! I am better now and can only say that if anyone needs therapy this is the place to be. Very professional, kind and courteous.

Experiencia fantástica: By the time I met Mike at Renewal Rehab it had been over a month since I severely dislocated my knee during martial arts training. I was told by one of several surgeons I consulted that the range of motion of my injured leg would probably never surpass 90 degrees after surgery. I was really starting to give up hope of ever regaining my active lifestyle. After one visit with Mike my whole outlook had changed. His positive and motivating attitude as well as his creative approach to physical recovery instilled in me a strong determination. Working closely with Dr. Craythorne (who is an outstanding surgeon) Mike and his team had me up and walking again within 5 months of major reconstructive knee surgery (3 torn ligaments, torn hamstring, turn tendon, stretched nerve...) and in less than a year I was back training in Aikido and testing for my black belt. My range of motion is over 130 degrees and continues to get better. Mike and his staff at Renewal Rehab are truly amazing. They strive for excellence and are outstanding in their profession. As soon as the doctor told me I needed rehab, I knew that I only trusted Renewal Rehab to help me repair myself. Mike, Claudia and Nick really know their stuff and show patience, knowledge and compassion to each and every person who comes in the door. They are utmost professionals and you can be assured you will be ready to go once you are released from their care. I have recommended them to friends and will do so again every chance I get. Experiencia fantástica: Our entire family loves these guys! They have helped my teenager with an athletic injury, my husband following rotator cuff surgery, and me following hip surgery. I came back to them a few months ago with some back issues; I had no flexibility and had a great deal of pain. Experiencia fantástica: I should have posted my review a long time ago, it's been over year since I received treatment but I am truly thankful for the work they do! I was injured in a car accident, in which somebody crashed into my car, totalled the vehicle, and left me with some severe damage to my right hand. I needed a minimum of six weeks of physical therapy once I was out of the cast, and I didn't know where to start. I honestly dreaded the fact that I had to go to physical therapy and thought it would be a huge nuisance. I called a few places after doing a Google search, and Renewal Rehab was the first to respond and set me up with an appointment. From the first day to the last day of my treatment I was thoroughly pleased with their level of service! Not only did they get me better, but they helped me feel better and stronger than I did prior to the accident. They personalize your treatment and provide such a fun, laid back environment to be in! Everyone who works there is beyond great, super funny, and genuinely caring. It was always the highlight of my day going to physical therapy there. If anyone has a need whether it be due to an injury or even strengthening a weaker part of your body, I would 150% recommend Renewal Rehabilitation. Experiencia fantástica: I have really enjoyed my experience with renewal rehabilitation. They have an extremely professional operation. And their physical therapists and staff are top notch. Mike took extra care in looking at my surgical incision and noticed something that he didn’t think was quite right. He consulted with Dr. Craythorne and in fact there was a small piece of a stitch that was coming out of my knee. Mike’s attention to detail will cause my knee to recover faster. Experiencia fantástica: leaving this review because there may be other people out there like me, who have one or a couple of bad joints with aches and (or) stiffness (from either a very recent injury ir old injuries and arthrities) and are looking for an EXPERIENCED physical therapist to REALLY HELP them stop the pain and regain mobility, strength and overall excellent functionality of the respective joints (or lower back, yep, J got that too). Folks, until I started my Physical Therapy sessions with Dr Michael Anastas and his team of Physical Therapists at Renewal I truly thought that other than perhaps surgery (and even that was iffy) there is nothing that could help me! I actually spent about 3 weeks (more correctly to say I wasted 3 wks) with other doctors of physical therapy from 2 other businesses (I won't give the names but one is located in westchase another one in Tampa (in the Citrus Park and Westchase area) but after 3 sessions with each office, I felt like I was wasting my money (I do not have insurance, I am SELF-payer), and I kept looking and asking around, when, a friend who 15+ years back had a very bad injury and who after going to REHAB RENEWAL was able to regained perfect functionality that's been lasting, told me her story and gave me Renewal's contact info. Since the 2nd physical therapist seemed also superficial and kind of inexperienced (otherwise, a very nice gal), I called Renewal to check on their prices and availability. To my great surprise, their fee for the Evaluation session was very decent, actually a little cheaper than the previous therapists and their per session was also decent, plus they could see me in only two days! I was kind of skeptical, but my friend spoke so highly about Dr Anastasas that got me hopeful. Sure enough, I could see the difference from the first day, folks!! I am now going into my 5th session and I am making very good progress! the session is 60 minutes and everyone in this office is CONSCIENTIOUS, EXPERIENCED and VERY ATTENTIVE! They do lots pf procedures, not only very useful exercises but also ultrasound, hand maneuvers, electrical stimulation, stretching techniques, icing, heating, and more. I was offered a program with a number of sessions at a bit of discount also (hey, every dollar counts, when you pay from money you made from working, isn't it?) and I am excited to continue my recovery. I feel I am in good hands and that every minute spent there is a GAIN! That's a great feeling. I am very glad I didnt settle for less... My hubby had a bad PT experience some years ago, and he still can't use his right ankle well, after a louzy physical therapy (paid by insurance). Even if your insurance pays for it, DO NOT SETTLE FOR LESS THAN EXCELLENCY! Give Physical Therapists at Rehab RENEWAL a try, see a second opinion with them. They are an example of excellency in their field. I am very glad I am working with them to getting my knee, ankle and lower back (tail bone broken) back to functioning well again and without pains.

The physical therapist I have been working with, Greg, has been so helpful and supportive while I work on building my hip strength after surgery. The entire team is kind and the atmosphere is fun, you’re bound to hear laughs while you wait in the lobby. The doctor who did my surgery is in the same building, so having both parts of my medical team in one place has been an additional bonus. I am thankful to each team member and I’m very happy to have found this wonderful place. I am confident with their help I’ll be back to using my hip normally again in no time.

Experiencia fantástica: Wow, what is there to say? The rehab specialists here are not only quite professional, but they are amazing to deal with on a daily basis. Greg, Isaac, Michael and Sheri are an absolute delight to work with. I had a full knee replacement with Dr. Craythorne, which by chance is conveniently in the same complex as the rehabilitation center. Their care they have to given me is amazing . Greg answers all my “concerned questions” with a simple yet precise explanation that is easy to understand and makes sure he is pushing me to achieve my goal of a full recovery. Thank you all so much!!! Oh almost forgot to mention that Greg has the best playlist on the planet to rehab to! LOL

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic experience so far. I just started with Renewal last week and was immediately impressed by the friendly, personal atmosphere and attentive staff. I liked that this is a smaller therapy operation, so you don't get lost among any crowd. They also call to check on you at home and make sure you're on track for scheduled appointments. Being located next to my orthopedic surgeon's office was also helpfull. Highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: I tore my ACL while on active duty in the military. I am extremely thankful that this rehabilitation center was recommended by my surgeon, Dr. Craythorne. Since the start of physical therapy my experience at Renewal Rehabilitation has been fantastic. I am greeted with a smile by the ladies at the front desk followed by professional and knowledgeable care from the entire crew. Everyone there has very positive energy and are invested in my well-being. I have noticed tremendous gains in progress since my operation just 3 weeks ago. This is my second torn ACL and I can say without a doubt that my experience here has lead me to progress much quicker than I did the first time around at a different facility. Sometimes we lose sight of what it takes to mend injuries. As a lifelong athlete its important to rehab correctly. Experiencia fantástica: I came in with DEBILITATING plantar fasciitis and could barely walk. I’ve only been in for 3 session but between the soft tissue work, the stretches abs the exercises they give me, I am almost pain free. They take what they do very seriously and they take great care of the patients. I never feel like they’re rushing me through, we take as long as is needed to finish up what we need for the day. I definitely would recommend them to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Of the three physical therapy providers I’ve used, Renewal Rehab in South Tampa is the best. Because of the personal attention I receive, the friendly environment, and the great progress I’m making, I actually enjoy going to PT. I suffered a complete hip/femur fracture requiring emergency surgery earlier this year. In the three months I’ve worked with them, Mike, Isaac, and Brittany have helped me enormously in rebuilding my strength and returning to my normal self. And, when you phone them, you reach a friendly and helpful person (thanks, Gaby!), not an automated menu.

Experiencia fantástica: I have dealt with shoulder issues due to various sports injuries throughout my adult life, going through many Physical Therapy teams. After "biting the bullet" I elected for a shoulder arthoscopy bankart repair on my left shoulder for a badly torn labrum. Once I initiated Physical Therapy, I figured this would be another typical therapy regiment, with potentially a different trainer every day, that would put me somewhat back on my feet and out the door I go. This was not the case with Renewal Rehab. Every single exercise and therapy they had me do, there was always an explanation and reason for it. I saw the same therapist day in and day out, that truly cared for my well being and did everything in their power to get me back in the game of sports. They were attentive, knowledgeable, trust worthy, confident, and optimistic about my rehab. When I graduated rehab, although very excited, It was a bittersweet moment, because I created a bond with the rehab team, as they got me where I needed to be and more. My shoulder has never felt better than it has, since I was 21 years old. Best rehabilitation clinic I have ever been to.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience with the Renewal Rehab team for my torn patella tendon post surgery from the evaluation through the rehab sessions and final evaluation. Brittany, Issac, Gabby we’re all great and they pushed me to the limits and made sure that I was constantly progressing. I’m ending my sessions earlier than desired due to my insurance changing but I would highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Renewal twice a week for about two months to rehab a torn pec and have nothing but good things to say about my experience. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are transparent in their commitment to getting patients beyond basic physical health adjustments and to the desired, if not ambitious, physical goals patients may have for themselves. Personally, I made greater progress than anticipated and am overall very satisfied with my path back to physical normalcy. Experiencia fantástica: Such an outstanding staff of highly skilled professionals! I have now had two hip surgeries with Dr. Craythorne and have done my rehab at Renewal for both. Mike has assembled a great group of therapists who push you as much as you want without risking injury and get you back in the fight as quickly as possible. I plan to go back to them after my upcoming shoulder surgery, as well.

Fast forward to the end of the year, after being told by multiple doctors to completely stop any kind of impact work, I have been working with Renewal for the last six weeks. Experiencia fantástica: I spent a year with impingement syndrome of the right shoulder before having surgery in February. A few weeks after my surgery, I enter Renewal Rehab. I will just say, that this place, is A1. Well organized, great communication, and a recover plan for every individual that walks in the place. They work as a team, very in sync, and doesn't treat any patient better than the other. What's so impressive, is that when Mike, who's the business partner that runs this particular office of the two, leads, respects, and puts trust in his team. When he's not in the office, his presence is not missed which shows his ability to lead his them, and develop them to operate as if he were. To brag about this team and if I forget a name, I apologize : Carly, Sammie, Hope, Sean, and Eric are patient, sympathetic, kind, and take pride in what they do. Their handling of patients, are gentle but consistent and they are clear on what is best for your recover. I couldn't have gone to a better rehab center. It took me a while to write this review because I couldn't just give them a "GREAT JOB", they deserve more than that. Anything less wouldn't show how grateful I am of there skill set. Now whether you have a shoulder injury, back, hip, knee, or wrist, Renewal Rehabilitation has a treatment plan for you. No matter how long the recover, they are there all the way, full support. Over the last 12 years we have been patients at Renewal and the care we have received has always been outstanding.
