They were able to find the source of my pain and come up with a treatment plan that got me back to my golf game. Continuing at Empower PT for private pilates keeps me pain-free on the golf course! Experiencia fantástica: I am a 83 year old male with chronic lower back pain that flares up severely every 4-6 months. Alyssa and her staff, on particular Kendall, have assessed my ever-changing issues causing pain and chronic discomfort related to inflexibility that I have suffered from my entire life. Each session, Alyssa and Kendall determine the root cause(s) of my current physical discomfort. Their approach to my lack of flexibility varies each time I am in the studio. To put it simply, they find an old man in need of strengthening my muscles and balance to avoid falls and future discomfort. My quality of life has improved immeasurably since finding Alyssa in 2016. I intend to continue with my weekly sessions, sometimes it's twice a week. I feel better at my advanced age than I did ten years ago!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have recently moved and can only hope to find a place like EmpowerPT around my new location. I started at EmpowerPT over a year ago for physical Therapy for extreme spasms in my mid back and other muscular issues due to extreme longevity of stress. EmpowerPT included stretching and core strengthening exercises to help with a complete recovery ongoing health of my physical well being. The staff is great and flexible and they really do care, sincerely. That is important to me. Finding health care and feeling seen and heard and helped in the proper way is hard to find these days. I highly recommend EmpowerPT for your therapy and/or your ongoing maintenance through Pilates. Debra L

On day 1 she gave me more shoulder mobility than I had experienced in months. Experiencia fantástica: Alyssa Stewart is the BEST at figuring out what the root cause of muscle pain is and how to rehab it in this town. I've been dealing with a serious hip/glute pain syndrome for almost 2 years. Been to multiple docs, chiros, and physical therapy for 10 weeks that did absolutely nothing for me. Needless to say i was gun shy that anyone could help me resolve it. Within just 4-6 sessions with Alyssa, my pain improved to the point where I am able to resume the physical activities that had been off the menu for such a long time. She has a keen eye and is obsessive about watching for compensation patterns in the body that cause severe pain to form in the first place. I am sticking with our work because i am getting so much from her care. If you're frustrated with poor diagnostics and even worse p.t. as i was, get yourself to Alyssa!

Forget about the standard exercises you would do with a PT's assistant at a chain - Alyssa sees each client as an individual and works personally with you to treat your whole body rather than a single symptom. I also love Pilates classes with Liz at Empower; she is fun and engaging so that even the most challenging classes are over before you realize how hard you have worked! The staff and atmosphere at Empower are welcoming and the results are undeniable.

I decided to try a physical therapist that also offers personal training. Best decision I ever made. Empower PT is helping me work on my trouble areas. I am finally not experiencing any lower back pain after two years of going to other trainers. I work with my Personal Trainer Julia in conjunction with Physical Therapist Alyssa. I am getting all bases covered in a productive way that builds up my body instead of causing more injury. Empower PT offers Personal Training, Pilates, Yoga, Group Classes and Massage....it’s truly a one stop shop that will help you achieve all your goals and then some. You won’t regret it and their pricing is in line and even less than many trainers in the area. If you have any type of injury or just getting moving again after having little ones....give them a try!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently started going to Alyssa with Empower Physical Therapy. The reviews on several websites were spot on! It was great working with Alyssa and Julia. I received first class personal treatment that catered to my knee issues. She took the time to understand my knee issues, figure out root causes and developed a therapy plan including exercises and stretches. She then went to work and over the course of a few sessions she managed to get me to a pain-free state. In the process, she educated me on knee pain an what I can do on my own to maintain the gains. I also had a balance issue that she addressed. Alyssa and the staff are dedicated to their work and I thoroughly enjoyed working with them. Alyssa has a lot of knowledge and experience working with patients who experience a variety of problems and my husband has decided that he will see her after his knee replacement. After 4 back surgeries and underlying scoliosis she has led me to a return of function I thought was not possible. She has a strong knowledge base, listens carefully and designs a realistic plan to increase muscle motion and regain strength. Experiencia fantástica: I was introduced to Alyssa Stewart and Empower PT while injured and prior to my hip replacement. She used various methods to: - Minimize pain - Create a program where I could move and train while waiting for surgery - Provide movement and training without making my symptoms worse Her ability to use pilates to provide me with some movement that was not weight bearing. Allowed me to maintain some flexibility and strength was encouraging when I felt I had very few options while waiting for surgery. She is caring, compassionate yet very determined to ensure each client is maximizing their ability to move and preserving their strength and flexibility regardless of age, fitness level, and injury. I would recommend Empower PT to anyone injured or trying to prevent injuries.
