While I am always skeptical about consistent high ratings, Pro-Active lived up to them. John Hisamoto is a true professional and takes great pride in the work he does and I could not have felt more confident in the care and advice he provided. He and his staff are amazing. Experiencia fantástica: I was a patient of Dr. Daniel Botkins for 5 months post an ACL/Posterolateral corner knee surgery. He was very knowledgeable, encouraging, and extremely patient while assisting me through my healing process. Not only was Dr. Botkins great, the entire Pro-Active staff was great as well. Everyone there would go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and keep you on the right track. Going to therapy 2-3x a week made me feel like I adopted a new extended family. I would definitely recommend the Pro-Active Physical Therapy team to anyone going through their healing process.

Experiencia fantástica: Pro-Active Physical Therapy has given me tools which changed the course of my life, from one of almost complete immobility, to now having a chance of normal function. When I first began physical therapy in October, 2013, my initial diagnosis indicated multiple problem areas: moderately severe kyphoscoliosis, arthritis of the shoulders, severe arthritis of the lower spine, trochanteric bursitis, tenosynovitis of multiple tendons involving lower extremities, as well as postierior tibiotalar arthropathy. I was unable to perform even the most basic chores (changing light bulbs, AC filters, or mowing the grass). Weight-bearing activities, or even standing erect were impossible. Walking from a parking lot into a store, was difficult to nearly impossible at times. Following ten months of physical therapy, I was finally released on July 14, 2014. The difference in my daily activity level has been remarkable. I now start my day with a four mile walk, my energy level is tremendous, and my overall health has improved. With effort, I can stand up straight, previously an impossible task. I am now stronger than I can ever remember being in sixty three years! John Hisamoto and Daniel Bodkin gave me the tools to achieve my goals, and John taught me the level of dedication and self-discipline necessary to become mobile again. It has been a total lifestyle change. I now prioritize my daily exercise regimen which includes 2-3 hours of walking, biking, and core strengthening exercises. I cannot stress enough the gratitude that our family has for the care, knowledge and expertise of treatment that we have received here. My son is a Division 1 college athlete who owes his ability to step out onto the playing field to Dr. Hisamoto and his staff. My husband and I have each had separate back issues. My husband recently completed his treatment and now knows how to keep his back in optimal shape to prevent re-injury. My back issues required surgery which was recognized quickly by Pro-Active and I am well on the way to a full recovery. I recommend Pro-Active Physical Therapy to everyone who needs any type of rehab therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: The pro-active physical therapy staff is very friendly. They have helped me through the rehabilitation process following two surgeries (Torn labrum and torn ACL). They truly care about their patients and want the best for them. I highly recommend Pro-active physical therapy to anyone who is seeking treatment. Kazlene does an excellent job as patient care coordinator and makes you feel right at home as soon as you step into the office.

Experiencia fantástica: Wow....don't know where to start. So very professional, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I am a bit bias to Daniel Bodkin because he was the physical therapist I worked with, but everyone was very friendly and helpful. Kazlene is also the best ever...working directly with my insurance company and staying on top of everything! Daniel ensured I fully understood all the exercises and didn't do anything to make things worse. After a very short time I saw a dramatic improvement and am doing extremely well. Just finished my last session and hope that I don't have problems in the future but if I do I will absolutely return to Pro-Active Physical Therapy. Really a super group of people that seem to enjoy what they do and each other. I just can't say enough good stuff.

Experiencia fantástica: Love love love this place! In the short span of a few weeks I am 40%+ better and able to return to working out with modifications. Danny is fantastic and very thorough! He took the time to explain in detail what was wrong and every step of the way he has explained all the exercises/stretching along with WHY they help. He's also given me directions on how to work out properly in the future to prevent injury. I highly highly recommend this place for any physical therapy you need. Every one of the staff is positive and care about their patients and what they do. Another plus is they are open at 7:00 am so you can get in before work and not impact your schedule! :)

Experiencia fantástica: Pro-Active Physical Therapy is very updated with the modalities and equipment they use. After doing two sessions of rehab back home three and four days post anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, coming here was a blessing. Being at the other clinic was a waste of my time. John Hisamoto (Not sure if the level of nickname/first name basis has been reached yet, but I call him big John to my friends when they ask who is doing my rehab and where) and his staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly. The patient care coordinator Kazlene is a stupendous young lady. Kaz, you should probably not show him my post if you read this. Dr. Bodkin, although he does not work with me directly still applies a great deal of interest in my recovery. Both physical therapists here are very efficient with their patients as they are usually working with more than one. They will let you exert yourself to the extent they feel is suitable for the individual. I will absolutely recommend Pro-Active Physical Therapy to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I was recently having a lot of back pain, having trouble working out and doing daily tasks. I saw Dr. Tyler at the North Tampa facility on Bruce B Downs Blvd, and was extremely pleased with my rehabilitation. The office is incredibly friendly, their front desk associate Hailey is warm and inviting. They were extremely organized and timely; I never waited over my appointment time. Dr. Tyler did an excellent job with not only designing the workout plans to provide exercises I was comfortable doing but also explaining how and why each were important to my success in getting rid of my back pain. If I wasn’t able to work with Dr. Tyler, Chris stepped in and did an amazing job as well. I looked forward to each visit. Even though my physical therapy appointments have ended, the exercises he provided me I still do each day. It’s been a couple weeks and they have kept me pain free since! I am back to enjoying my workouts and feeling confident again. I would highly recommend this office!

Experiencia fantástica: From the day I had my ACL repair until now months later Tyler and Chris have helped me feel normal again. Not a single visit except that they have made themselves available for every concern and happily answered my repetitive questions. They have pretty much a 1:1 interaction time very often. I went to other chains and they toss you into a big room with many clients at the same time and it’s very frustrating not to know exactly what you’re doing right and wrong. With Tyler and Chris every exercise and every stretch is under direct attentive guidance. They are a dream team. If I could do it all over again I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I asked for referrals and had someone in the medical field highly recommend Tom Phan at Pro Active Physical. Even though their office was quite a distance away from my home, I decided this is important enough to go there. I made the right decision. I was very warmly welcomed. My appointment was on time. I truly can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. In my case, going someplace when your in pain and really not wanting to be going to in the first place, I can't thank them enough for making it as pleasant experience as possible. Tom was very patient, we talked at length about how my issue needs to be addressed. He was very knowledgeable and quite helpful. Experiencia fantástica: Tyler Eisenbacher is the man. He helped when 5 PTs, 2 orthopedic surgeons, and 2 podiatrists could not. They don't pawn you off onto a less qualified PTA with no supervision from the DPT like so many other places do. They're very professional, the place is clean, and they're always on time.

My 14-year-old son has a small UCL tear. He plays baseball and was worried that he won’t be able to play again. Tom and the staff put all his fears at ease and is now confident that he’ll be back on the field sooner than later. Thank you Tom and staff!

I wanted to go in just to get some relief not just physically but emotionally as I had to deal with not being able to lift my two year old. I wanted to come back and only reason I didn't is bc my insurance changed and it would be more costly. All staff follows his upbeat positive attitude. Great company culture.
