Experiencia fantástica: We have been taking our son to see Lisa Kelly since he was 3 months old and she has helped him so much in the past six months. He had a flat spot on his head from not being able to turn to his left and in just a short amount of time, she has fixed his head shape and also worked with him so he is now able to look in both directions equally and he is now a more active, happier baby. We loved the staff at Alternative Physical Therapy, everyone there has been very personable and very knowledgeable.

Experiencia fantástica: I was injured badly at work, saw every PT in the area. I was not getting any better. I found Lisa at Alternative Physical Therapy and everything changed. She was the first PT to treat my whole body and not just see me as an injury. She totally understands if you are injured it affects your entire body. I was told I would end up in a wheel chair and never be able to work again. After a lot of hard work from Lisa and of course myself, I an walking, have had no further surgeries and would recommend Lisa and her entire staff to anyone who is serious about their health and get back in motion!! Experiencia fantástica: My first day of therapy at Alternative Physical Therapy was supposed to be the day I had back surgery. I felt I had tried everything but as a 25 year old I wanted to avoid surgery as long as I could. I decided to try physical therapy once more. Lisa spent time evaluating me and informing me what she saw along the way, it was so helpful to finally know why I was hurting and what was out of place. Lisa and the other therapists gave me the tools I needed to have balance and strength in my movements every day.

Although a private business, they are well equipped and very current. Friendly staff and therapists, they provided all the necessary counsel and hands on routines for quick and comfortable healing and recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: I hurt my back so bad it was difficult to make a step without pain. After not having much improvements with home remedies and chiropractor couple of visits, I decided to make an appointment with Alternative Physical Therapy. By using their deep tissue massage in combination with the ultra sound machines, in my case, it took three sessions to fix it. In the past I have visited this facility for shoulder impishment which it took more sessions to work on it, but with satisfactory end results.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm so pleased that I chose Alternative Physical Therapy for my PT! Following a knee replacement, I had limited activity for 2yrs during the Covid pandemic. I needed to begin getting stronger and more fit. The staff at Alternative Physical Therapy is amazing. They're helping me address all of my issues in a patient and thoughtful program. I'm very impressed with the knowledge and techniques of each staff member I've encountered. The facility is quiet and clean, and very comfortable. Quite a change from some of the larger facilities I've used in the past. I strongly recommend this place!

Been to therapy millions of times, seen I don't know how many drs. After a initial consultation with Lisa who is beyond amazing they had figured out my source of pain. I suffered for years to finally be put in the hands of these angels they are wonderful and truly care for there clients.

Experiencia fantástica: I was told I might have Intracranial hypertension pressure(ICP) per a MRI I received. Further testing is needed to verify but i did not wait for the further test. I spoke to my chiropractor and he referred me to APT. My symptoms prior to treatment: feeling like I was falling backwards, dizziness, head pressure at the top of the head and at the back of the head, tingling and numbness in my face and fingertips, and weakness overall. After my first treatment I noticed a significant change for the better and with each apt it got better. I think i had 6 treatments and my head pressure , tingling, numbness, feeling like I’m falling backwards, and most of the dizziness is gone. Halfway into the therapy my daughter wad admitted to the hospital for 5 days. But my therapy helped me and I was able to manage my stress better and I feel almost myself again. The staff also was very nice!

Experiencia fantástica: Over the years I've been to other physical therapy practices in the Toledo area and I really appreciate the individual, hands on approach to physical therapy at Alternative Physical Therapy. The PT assistants work 1 on 1 with me and have helped me finally find specific exercises that work for me and my bum neck. Their pool therapy is also very helpful and, again, highly individualized. Highly recommend!!!!!

I appreciate the various types of hands on approach that ATP uses along side exercises, stretching and strengthening and making sure my body is in the correct alignment, these things are of the utmost importance and beneficial. The therapy addresses your mindset along with your physical needs to help bring you the best possible results. The therapy staff and management are all very positive, helpful, caring, compassionate and talented people that care about each person as a unique individual and you are given a personally tailored program to fit your individual needs. Experiencia fantástica: I went to A.P.T bc i wanted something different from my physical therapy. I wanted my whole body treated. Having been a dental hygienist for 42 years I have neck and back issues, as you might well imagine. My posture was awful after being bent over looking in someone's mouth for that length of time. There were days when my head just felt so heavy and I could barely turn it with out pain. My back would just cause so much pain that i would have to come home and take oxycotin and go to bed. I couldn't stay up bc the drug would just knock me out but it was the only thing that relieved the pain. I am so happy ro say that the treatment at APT has gotten me out of excruciating pain and no more pills. They have taught me how to stretch, use a foam roller, tennis balls and stretching strap all to keep on top of my issues. The main one being muscle tightness which restricts my movement and then pain ensues. I continue to go weekly to see the PTA's bc i feel so good when i leave and I don't ever want to go back to the pain I had previously. My posture has improved, the pain is gone. I am more in tune with what's going on with my body thanks to Alternative physical therapy!!

My neck and posture improved on the first visit, I stand taller, my pain is gone, my shoulders are the same level, my gait is smoother, my hamstring and hip flexibility were instantly better during 1 visit, and so effortlessly! Experiencia fantástica: Lisa was able to help my daughter with her over-use of certain muscles in her sports activity which was causing her intense pain in her back. What appeared to be one issue was actually a different issue, and through Lisa's excellent diagnosis skills, she was able to determine the exact source of the pain. My daughter now has exercises to relieve the pain and have long-term results. No drugs. No surgery. You were a blessing, Lisa!

Experiencia fantástica: I found what I was in need of with Lisa Kelly and her team. Having experienced other sports oriented physical therapy clinics and DO treatment, and still having neck issues, a friend recommended Lisa and her team. I was pleasantly surprised to receive treatment during my evaluation. Lisa closely observed my body mechanics in the process of my evaluation and treatment. Treatment appointments were scheduled immediately and varied between 3 different associates, each with a slightly different approach. Deep tissue massage, pressure point manipulation, ultra sound and exercise were all utilized. Each appointment provided increased pain relief and increased range of motion. Practical at-home exercises were assigned and I followed through most of the time. Quantifiable measurement of my disability was recorded initially and monitored throughout treatment. I am 3 months post-discharge and feeling like myself again.
