The Physical Therapists are very professional, experienced, knowledgeable, in their Specialties; and adept at making one feel comfortable and confident, it has an excellent facility to provide quality of care, and you will notice your pain lessening with the peace of mind that healing is achievable and occurring during your PT sessions. l am very happy with my overall therapy sessions; for all my various injuries and appreciate being helped to heal and recover from those surgeries, and by the way, l usually request, my favorite Lady D.P.T Kristiana Hernandez. l plan after my latest surgery to go there again this coming December! I am very lucky to be assisted by the team of Ergo Wellness Physical Therapists , all of whom are very professional and well trained in their profession . The facility is very clean , and the over all mood of the facility is very pleasant and welcoming . With that said , I must tell you specifics about the best PT , in my opinion at Spero . Kristina Hernandez is an expert in the field of Physiical Therapy . She takes the time to began with a talk about how I’ve been doing . She Listens ! With the info shared , she knows exactly where to locate the area to be cared for . Because she listens , she can diagnose and begins her healing therapy . She is consistent , caring , and is very knowledgable about her skills . Kristina recently achieved another skill , Dry Needling . She attended extended courses and is Certified in this wonder skill . I feel very fortunate to have been introduced to her . She also coaches me in water therapy . The front desk staff were friendly and always helpful. My therapist, Sarah, was super knowledgeable and helped speed my recovery from hip surgery. She has years of experience covering all types of therapy, including Parkinsons. I would highly recommend Sarah and the staff at Spero for all types of Physical Therapy.

They ask how previous sessions affect me and proactively take me through movements that help. They are professional, communicative, and encouraging.

I have spent half of my time in the pool working some of that time with Hunter who is equally great. I highly recommend Spero to anyone needing therapy. Their equipment is top notch and varied.

Experiencia fantástica: I fell the day I moved to Austin and spent 8 months recovering from surgery and other issues. I’m 78 yrs old and have a new knee, orthopedic and neurological issues and am now participating in Aquatic Therapy at Ergo Wellness. Everyone on staff and therapists are excellent and watch and listen to my work in the pool. My balance has improved, I’m building strength in my legs, and when the pool water is at the therapeutic temp it soothes my whole body ridden with arthritis. I’m am so thankful I found them and my docs are happy I’m getting better due to their guidance and encouragement. Spero is the best!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about Ergo Wellness/Spero Rehab. I was in need of more than standard exercise based therapy for my neck/shoulder pain. And because the physical therapists at Spero Rehab ErgoWellness are certified in techniques like dry needling, keniso taping, and hydro therapy I'm able to resume some of my daily normal activities and therefore have better quality of life. But the best quality is that you are seen by a team of thearpists who are constantantly evaluating your progress and modifying your treatment program when needed. Someone explained it to me that "as your healing changes your requirements may change and its super important that the thearpists asks each other for help and share knowledge to elicit a quicker recovery time." Spero/Ergo in in the business of healing and I can't thank them enough.

Experiencia fantástica: Very good place to rehab. My therapist Sydney is always on time and in a good mood. She is very observant in that she sees what is working for me and what is not. My lateral movement in my hip has increased as well as the strength. She has motivated me enough that I continue to work only days off from rehab. I'm walking and riding my stationary bike a lot more. It's always clean, and the equipment is always wiped down when someone finishes.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm so grateful for Kristina who referred me to Spero Rehab after I ruptured my Achilles. I was hesitant at first since its a 25 min drive for me, however it has totally been worth it. It's been an amazing experience for me and I can feel the progress at each and every PT session. Most importantly, it's the only place that offers Aquatic Therapy in a warm salted pool in South Austin. You will not regret it!

I have visited Spero for several issues the most recent and major was a total knee replacement. I found it a challenging surgery and recovery with some unique problems. The team at Spero provided great care for 3-4 months. I could not have recovered as well without them. I am so grateful for the team but especially Kristina. She is simply amazing.

Experiencia fantástica: I started working with Josh, and later Kristina and John, after suffering a proximal humerus fracture from a scooter fall and having to have surgery to repair my arm and re-set my shoulder. My ortho was hesitant to refer me out to PT until six weeks post op and recommended some at-home exercises to keep my shoulder from "freezing." But after some difficulty with that, I decided to get another opinion from Josh and his team and they helped me build a plan of care that included both manual therapy with a therapist and at-home exercises to keep my shoulder moving, even as the bone healed. 10 weeks post-op, and now 8 weeks into PT, the bone has healed completely and I'm making good progress on movement and reduction of muscular pain. Each visit I give Josh or John an update on how things are going and they adjust accordingly to treat me that day based off of my feedback. I am excited to keep going to Spero over the next few months as I continue my recovery.

I recently returned to Spero for help in overcoming balance problems after suffering a mild stroke. Each of my experiences with Spero was wonderfully positive. Spero Rehab has the facility and equipment, and its staff has the knowledge and the sheer talent to handle almost any type of physical therapy challenge. You’ll find yourself the focus of a team of experts, one of whom keeps an eye on your progress and adjusts the type and rigor of exercise you undergo as you steadily improve. In my case, that team leader was Caughey, an exceptionally knowledgeable therapist, and she was aided by another therapist, John, and clinical assistants Julia, Troy, and Beverly. Together, they made the whole road to recovery a short and pleasant trip.

Experiencia fantástica: Very clean facility. Great therapist. Josh is knowledgeable, realistic and compassionate. I woke up one morning with a neck which couldn’t move even half an inch. Lucky me someone canceled that day and I was able to see Josh in the late afternoon. After the first dry needling session, I was able to move my neck the next day.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Spero Rehab Ergo Wellness has been great. From the first consultation with Sarah to my last session. I was referred to Spero by my primary doctor for a frozen shoulder. Sarah took the better part of an hour to assess my injury and test my range of motion. Sarah put together a 2 part approach to increase my range of motion on my shoulder with a series of stretching and massage therapy and then strengthening exercises. I now have full range of motion in my shoulders. Sarah has shown me the importance of regular exercise and stretching that will help reduce the chance of future injury. Thank you Spero Rehab and Sarah for your help in my recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at Spero PT was awesome. The first visit was the longest as expected so they can diagnosis, evaluate, and talk to you about the game plan. Once that was established, my PT worked with me on exercise routine and thoroughly explained to me what each exercised was for what and what part of the recovery it would help. There was no pushing to keep you longer than necessary. They will adjust the exercise and duration when you tell them honestly how you feel. I would definitely refer Spero to anyone needing PT to help them get well again. Shout-out to my wonderful PT Sarah King.

Hunter has been my main physical therapist and he has been wonderful. He knows his stuff and has a great personality!! Alex has also been very good. In fact, the whole staff has been wonderful.

Experiencia fantástica: Working with Dr. Thomas Suh + Staff has and continues to be incredible. In the course of 4 or 5 sessions, Dr. Suh has made me pain free of my right knee and lower back pain. You too can be pain free if you listen to Dr. Suh and do your home exercises. You only have ONE body so make it count. With Dr. Suh's guidance, I am confident you will achieve pain free world as well.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to Ergowellness only a couple of times; once for an evaluation and the second visit was an actual PT session. Shelley (PT) did a very thorough and professional job of evaluating my physical condition, which was due to two severe head injuries (concussions). After six months of self-treatment and minimum improvement, I was recommended by my orthopedic surgeon to seek treatment of a physical therapist to help me. My doctor stated that Spero Rehab ErgoWellness was the best physical therapy center in Austin, and he was spot on. The facility is excellent, office staff are awesome and I trust Shelley and her assistants will get be back to my normal physical condition in a couple of months. I highly recommend Shelley and ErgoWellness for your physical rehabilitation journey.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful facility and staff! Thomas got me back to feeling and moving around normally after a total hip replacement surgery. I felt much more confident and comfortable with the routines given to me. I believe anyone getting a surgery and needing physical therapy should come to this facility. I received much more personalized and changing routines as my healing progressed. Much more in depth attention than the hospital or surgeon typically give to you after completion of their work or the "5 things to do at home". The doctors and staff are all so accommodating. 10 out of 10 would recommend to everyone!

Both are diligent at problem solving my pain issues. They have good equipment and recommend exercises that help resolve my problem areas. Experiencia fantástica: This has been the first time for me to work on my balance (because of MS) in the water at Spero Rehab ErgoWellness. My neurologist gave me a prescription for Spero Rehab. The pool is in a warm salt water solution. I have an instructor beside me at all times. The first session, I was anxious of getting into the water, but now I'm more comfortable. We mostly work on leg strength. This is the first time in 10 years, I've been able to walk without a walker/rollator, although in water. I have a long ways to go.

He listens to my concerns and suggests small adjustments that eliminate any pain during the exercises he has prescribed. The Therapist at this location realy are great at taking care of their patients, Plenty of Parking. And the therapist remember little things you tell her and never likes you to experience pain at all. I vote this as the best ever.

Experiencia fantástica: In mid=November, I fell on my concrete patio. While I fortunately did not sustain a bone fracture, I severely tore my hamstring muscle. The pain was acute and constant. My orthopedic surgeon recommended physical therapy and I went to Ergo Wellness and requested Josh Woodson because he had worked with my husband and my husband thought that Josh was very, very good. He was right! Josh worked with me for two months and I am much better. Both my husband and I would sincerely recommend Josh to anyone who is in need of physical therapy. He is knowledgeable, empathetic, and very dedicated.
