They have all sorts of specialized equipment and provide such a supportive, nurturing environment. It truly is like a little family. It seems like they just somehow know what I need to work on, in a way that no one ever has before. I feel safe but also challenged - which I feel are the perfect ingredients to attain measurable, life-changing progress. I look forward to each appointment and can’t wait to see what I will be able to achieve with the help of Spero Rehab. I’m even motivated to do my homework (photo)!

Experiencia fantástica: Spero is a great place for occupational and physical outpatient therapy. They are warm, will work with you to set realistic goals, that you’d like to achieve, and really work with you to make those things happen. For me personally, I had a brain aneurysm that occurred in early 2022 which left me paralyzed on the left side of my body. I had to do inpatient therapy at a different facility, Once I had phased out of that program, I knew I still needed additional help and therapy to get back to where I wanted to be. Working with some of the physical therapists at Spero, shout out to Sidney and Sammy as well the occupational therapists, shout out to Clare , Grace, And Katie has really helped my progression along, I’m no longer in a rigid leg brace I can now walk much better in a sleeker and smaller ankle wrap, I’m gaining muscle back and my arm is starting to get more motion in it. The biggest plus for me has been my boost in confidence. I can now do things because of their adaptive programs I wouldn’t have dared to try before them. Things like swimming kayaking, basketball, gardening, archery, bowling, and more are available through this facility and they love and encourage their patients to partake. Your therapists will be there on those excursions to help you if you need it but when you don’t need it and can do it independently, they’ll of course, cheer you on! Their facilities are great- clean, and they certainly have some really high tech gadgets all aimed at getting you to full recovery. Even the facility manager, Erin, is amazing! She’s friendly and willing to help you with insurance or other questions you may have. She is all knowledgeable when it comes to Spero. Again, I’d highly recommend this place for anyone who needs physical or occupational therapy in an outpatient setting. This group of therapists and individuals know their stuff and are worth looking in to. Even the PT and OT technicians they employ are knowledgeable and great. Honestly, there’s no one here that can’t help you get better with your rehab needs.

Experiencia fantástica: I just realized I had posted an earlier review without naming my PT professional, who is Sydney. Thus far I have has two sessions with her. I've found her to be: empathetic, patient, boundary-pushing without being a taskmaster. Also, she doesn't complain if you step on her toes by accident.

The experience has been wonderful and the improvement in my quality of life has been immense-- all thanks to these good folks! Edited to update: For the past few months I’ve been working with Joey Trevino’s personal training program at Spero and have had a wonderful experience! Joey is clearly passionate about training. He is very thoughtful and creative in putting together programs based on his client’s current fitness levels and future goals. He also works with my PTs to make sure that the training compliments my therapy and is sensitive to working with injuries and limitations. He is caring, upbeat, and supportive— you definitely feel like Joey is in your corner!

She’s made amazing strides in her therapy and I always appreciate seeing them help her and letting my family and I be apart of the therapy sessions as well!

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience with my personal trainer Joey. One of the hardest things for spinal cord injury patients is to get adequate cardiovascular work. Joey has the tools and creativity to help the old pump wake up.

Stephanie is great listener and I know she specifically works with me and through my movement disorders. I never feel pressured to go too far or hurt myself. I am confident in our collaboration.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Spero Central Rehab since last year. This rehab center is the best rehab in town! I have had multiple surgeries and health problems. I have used many different rehab centers in town. This is the most amazing group of therapists! Spero has been changing my life! I am forever grateful! My PT Stephanie and my OT Katie, awesome along with Grace and Jacob, and Joey and the many techs. Thank you all so much! They make me feel like family when I go there. I just started going to Spero on Wm Cannon to get therapy in their pool. This is a new thing for me. I have only been a few times but everyone seems very nice. I apologize for not being able to remember everyone's name but everybody seems to like their jobs and I always feel welcome. Back to Central Rehab..... I can't forget Andrea (Daisy's mom) or Sabrina and Alexandra. Thank you all.

As an SCI patient for over 19 years, I am well supported with a plan, and with activities like kayaking, and hand cycling. Shout out to the Spero team!

Usually always offers for assistance while doing open gym and I know if I need help with any workout or equipment I could ask him. If Hes not busy helping out the therapist with patients Hes always the go to person when I require assistance with anything.

Joey works within my abilities to help me succeed. He has a workout planned for me when I arrive and he's right there with me every step of the way. Joey is kind. Experiencia fantástica: Joey is an awesome Personal Trainer! Just in a few months, I’ve lost weight and gained muscle. He pushes you out of your comfort zone while keeping you safe. Love love love his workouts! They’re creative and wake up muscles you didn’t even know you had! Lol. I’ve worked out with a recreational therapist as well as other personal trainers but have gotten more results Joey! He believes in every one of his clients and challenges us to be our best! Experiencia fantástica: I have to be in a wheelchair every day but at Spero they are able to get me out of my chair and walking laps with the equipment they have. Everyone there is very nice and easy to get along with, it’s a huge bright spot in my week to socialize with the therapists and techs. Sarah especially has been wonderful even when I get discouraged. I had a Spinal Fusion surgery and am working towards total independence and it looks like with their help I can! Did you know that many of their therapists have their doctorates! Amazing amount of knowledge and experience and professionalism and I am so glad I was referred here by my neurosurgeon.

Success requires competence, compassion and creativity. The standard recipes won’t work. He is thriving like never before and enjoys going to therapy! I love that Spero always has a positive vibe going on and everyone is like a big family! Experiencia fantástica: I work for a vision rehabilitation center, CCRC and one of my young clients needed a place to gain work experience. Joey and the team at Spero made it happen. The staff are experts in their fields, and supper engaging in motivating clients to achieve high outcomes. THEIR GYM IS FREE, and have staff there to help out those with neurological rehabilitation, OT, PT, and SLP therapies. I appreciate Spero being inclusive to all in need, and the facility is state of the art.

Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to share regarding my experience with Spero rehab and their help in getting Isaac's equipment. Specifically, he requires a custom-molded seating system and that is no small task in getting that together. There are always a lot of players involved Coordinating everything and making sure that the chair is fitted in a proper way. There's a lot of variables that fall into play, way too many for me to go into and Brooke Aarvig is one of his o/t's and more specifically his therapist that is our go-to for all equipment. We have been doing this for going on 13 years and most times it has been an absolute nightmare. Brooke really stepped up and I can be challenging to handle at times but she looked past that and understood where my heart was at and that I wasn't trying to be difficult. I was looking out for what was best for my little guy because that's my job as his mother and his advocate. And I cannot say enough positive things in regards to how Brooke handled herself in the whole situation. they only give you the option to give five stars but regarding this particular experience I give them 10 plus stars Specifically Brooke. she has skills that you don't even realize and she's definitely very good, and that's an understatement, at what she does and I trust her judgment 100%. In all honesty, it has changed my mindset in the way that I view doing business with this particular company. the OT that works with him Claire, besides Brooke is excellent at what she does and so I just I don't have enough good to say. it didn't come overnight but we definitely got there. So I 200% recommend this company and doing business with them, but you have to establish the relationship. it's very important that you establish and nurture the relationship. Anybody that has been dealing with special needs children and therapists and equipment understands just how real the struggle is. when you find somebody good you don't want to let go. so we're very grateful! we want to say thank you and we look forward to a long and thriving working relationship!

Experiencia fantástica: Spero Rocks ya'll!!! Best part is the therapists who are knowledgeable and they put together great achievable plans for each client. Lots of equipment, go bicycling!!!, plenty of workout maps for core training, etc. They work with insurance directly as needed to keep you coming back for more!!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been here for 4 weeks and the therapists here have made my progress challenging and given me goals that would have taken me for3ever to achieve. The knowledge of this group is outstanding, because of Brooke my hand and shoulder are advancing well and the time has been shorter than if I would've done it on my own. My dexterity is coming back. Legs and balance is done with Andrea and I feel really good about my progress.

All the therapists and staff are extremely knowledgeable. My husband’s progress has been remarkable due to their expertise. Experiencia fantástica: Excellent care! So happy the hospital recommended this place to me. Staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and caring. I've worked with almost all of them....and I would highly recommend them all! Gym is clean and well set up. Workout equipment is great. Open gym is offered, and they welcome you to stay as long as you want to do extra working out before or after therapy at no cost. They offer outings like hand cycling and kayaking regularly, which is really fun. But most of all, I can't say enough about the staff! 5 stars hands down. Thank you, Spero!

Experiencia fantástica: I have MS. I have not had good experiences over the last 3 years with physical therapists and the institutions they represent. The treatment I received was always cookie cutter and for the herd. Spero has been hands on individual treatment. It is hard to find "healers" in our medical establishments. Brooke at Spero is one of those gifted individuals, hands on, caring, and knowledgeable.
