I worked with Emily and she was the BEST. We quickly built a rapport, and she pushed me effectively to get me back into shape. While she was knowledgeable and creative, what really drew me in was her personality. She always remembered our previous conversations and would always pick up where we left off. Our sessions went by like a breeze and Emily always added extra "pep" in her talk during the harder moments. We had one on one sessions, she was extremely attentive & involved through every step of my recovery. Since then I’ve moved Florida and continued physical therapy at multiple different gyms/centers and have not been able to find anything close to the quality of care I received @ FX downtown Baltimore w/Jess. She is very knowledgable, super helpful and highly talented at her job. My experience with her has been great and I have regained most of my wrist movement and strength all thanks to her!

Experiencia fantástica: Summer of 2021 I started training for my first marathon and early on started dealing with knee pain. I came to FX PT based on a recommendation from a friend and it was easily the best decision I made in my running journey. Jessica was not only extremely knowledgeable and professional about running injuries, she was so pleasant and showed genuine interest in what was going on. The day of my marathon she sent the most heartfelt encouraging message and has followed up with me on social media checking in! When I start training again this summer I'll surely be back for preventative work! I can't sing enough of their praises!

I thought I would never be able to climb or lift anything heavy again. She gave me my life back. I've never met someone that cared about her patients as much as Jess does. I wasn't in the best headspace and her positive attitude really helped me through the ups and downs of rehab. Lucky to be able to call her a friend. Thank you for everything Jess!

Experiencia fantástica: I am 57 years old and was dealing with back and neck/shoulder pain 4 years post lumbar and cervical spine surgery. During COVID, I started physical therapy at FX Physical Therapy downtown with Jessica. Similar to other reviews about this special provider, I experienced personal attention, compassion and care from an informed, consummate professional. She was detailed and patient correcting my form until I had the exercises down that she assigned me making sure I would do them in the best way that would benefit me. I highly recommend her. Additionally, the entire team were welcoming and well versed in their roles.

I came in with so much pain just walking and am now able to run comfortably. Everyone who works there is personable and friendly. It’s very easy to make appointments and the gym/access to equipment is great! I plan to continue coming here for all my PT needs.

Their PTs work with you 1-on-1 for your entire appointment, they get to know you as a person, and they take a vested interest in getting you better. Every PT I’ve seen there has been incredibly knowledgeable, has made me feel comfortable, and has been friendly, kind, and empathetic. I’m extremely picky with medical professionals, and I absolutely love this practice. You couldn’t pay me to go somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: Being in my 70's, like many my age, have trouble with arthritis. My doctor recommended Physical therapy. My Physical therapist Emily is extremely patient and encouraging. She has gotten me to do different exercises, which has increased my mobility. Walking has become amazingly less stressfuly, more pleasurable. My knees are grateful.

Experiencia fantástica: I don't have a lot of experience with PT but boy do I understand quality now that I've been in the hands of Emily and Faith at FX Studios intensively for three months. The care for both body and mind is front and center, nothing is tedious, no one is boring and I feel completely safe and in good hands. The facilities are of course excellent in that the entire gym can be utilized and front desk Stephanie responds within seconds to schedule changes and insurance questions. Top notch care. I couldn't possibly recommend Emily and Faith more.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so grateful that I stumbled upon Faith after a group run where she was offering free post run evaluations. I knew I needed to go to PT in preparation for the half marathon I was going to run in a few months but I was worried that my insurance plan wouldn’t cover it. She shared some ideas as to why I was experiencing pain and suggested I call her office and they would let me know what would be covered and what I could expect to pay out of pocket. I did and thankfully it turned out I could afford the weekly sessions, because I now realize that my body couldn’t afford not to go! I have been going to Faith for two months and I know that if I hadn’t gone once a week I would not have completed the Baltimore half marathon and I wouldn’t be where I want to be with my running practice. Faith is highly skilled at her job and also such an enjoyable person to spend 45 minutes with that you don’t mind pushing the sled across the room or getting stuck with needles. She has taught me so much about my body and ways to take care of it and be a better runner. And maybe more importantly, she holds me accountable to my at home exercises and is very encouraging and supportive. I highly recommend Faith and FX Physical Therapy.

Overall, the therapists here really care about their work and their patients. Everyone is always friendly and professional (especially Stephanie!) and they are all just as invested in your care and progress as you should be! Love this place!

He is patient, encouraging, and very personable beyond just knowing what I needed to rehab (my shoulder) and push me to my limits. Highly recommend! Experiencia fantástica: I came to FX based off a recommendation from a friends that is an extensive runner. I’d seen miracles worked for her but never knew the secret sauce to her growth and evolution as an athlete. The day she introduced me to FX Physical Therapy… she gave me the secret sauce! During the pandemic, I had exponential growth in cycling going from a casual rider to someone who puts up 150-200 miles a week. The aches and pains that come along with that type of activity are best addressed with someone who understands the body and can cater a specific regiment to help you perform at your best. For me, Faith has been an essential part of my support team! I’ve also recommended friends who’ve used other PTs at FX and had success! I highly recommend this place if you too want the secret sauce to your best physical health.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot recommend FX Physical Therapy highly enough. It has been a wonderful experience. My therapy is still ongoing, but I've made significant progress. They are really focused on improving athletic performance and correcting issues that might have led to the existing injury. Having such a well equipped facility for the exercises during the sessions makes it even better. If I ever need therapy again in the future, I won't even consider going anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently joined the FX Physical Therapy to treat my torn ACL. Tori is my personal therapist and I can't thank for her enough for taking care of me. She is very supportive, explains everything and knows about a lot of exercises that would focuse on reconstructing a torn ACL.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm really impressed with the team at FX. The best part of my experience is that my physical therapist (Tori) took a lot of time to understand the context of my injury. I've always felt that the treatment is tailored for me. I'm a middle-aged weightlifter. Most other places treat according to age, FX treats according what I consider "normal" activity. For me, training 5-6 days per week is normal and Tori is helping me get back to that level of training. I'm glad my orthopedic surgeon recommended FX.

I've worked with Lindsay Kirlin to speed up my recovery from a double groin hernia operation, she is fantastic in that she ensures you are on the road to recovery without overdoing it and re-creating injury. She has been nothing short of tenacious in her efforts to help me get better. She has clearly explained the injury and taught me numerous therapies that I can do on my own to tackle it. Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the best experience we have ever had in physical therapy. Matt is extremely knowledgeable and has helped my son heal. He takes the time to listen and responds with expertise and compassion. Matt works personally with my son 100% of the time and adjusts the workouts as needed so as to get the most out of each session in the safest manner. Christine has been ever so helpful in scheduling and insurance issues. She has addressed my insurance concerns and has gotten them resolved. She and Matt genuinely care and want to help. Instead of doing standard / by-the-book recovery methods, she's focusing on adapting the treatment to my body, the activities I already do (spin, gym, etc) and we set a goal (endurance hiking) for recovery. Experiencia fantástica: I went to FX Physical Therapy 2 weeks before my first marathon, after training for approximately 16 weeks and running throughout the year. Faith was awesome - she did a thorough assessment and gave me good advice and tools to complete my marathon training and have a successful race. The facilities are great, and the staff works with everyone from scheduling to explaining different therapies. I am definitely going back!

Experiencia fantástica: Whether you are looking for an assessment or already know you need physical therapy, I highly recommend Matt at this location! I woke up one morning and couldn't move my neck, after a couple days of it not getting better, I realized I really needed help. I went to Matt, he did an assessment, and was able to identify exactly what was wrong. Within 24 hours of seeing him, doing PT and my exercises I could move my neck again! There are a lot of options for PT, if you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy and looks out for you, I highly suggest making an appointment with Matt.

Lindsey has been my Physical Therapist since I tore my ACL in April. She guided me through pre-hab and post surgery. Every time has been an effective process with little lag time. The people there are always professional and efficient in helping the recovery from my injury. Matt and Sean are extremely competent in their PT practices and are often looking to better themselves through progressive techniques. Throughout my life I have underwent PT for even other surgeries and never have I experienced the level of care that this practice has shown me. As of today my body feels like it is back on track to normality and I have FX PT to thank for that.
