Experiencia fantástica: I came in super tight, and anxious about getting back into touching my toes and getting back into lifting weights in general. Sitting hurt, touching my toes was very difficult, extending my legs in a seated position was painful. Whitney and Josh both assessed me and determined what my body could tolerate and what specific exercises I could do to manage my back and hip pain and get stronger. Doing the exercises/drills helped daily life including sleep and every day I got more excited to do the work on my own and in the clinic because having back pain is the bane of my existence. After about a month of physical therapy I have regained a lot more strength, physical ability and have been able to slowly and carefully add weight back into the exercise routine. Highly recommend the clinic, my body feels exponentially better, and any questions you may have will be answered. I'm very appreciative of discovering this place.

Experiencia fantástica: When i decided to check out Athletico I was suffering badly with sciatica, couldn’t make it through a full grocery store visit or cook food without using a chair. But since starting at Athletico, after each visit I get closer and closer to being fully functional once again.The physical therapists at Athletico Heritage Trace have worked so hard to get me better, and done it with their training, their compassion, their encouragement and their desire to see me succeed. I went to another therapy place first and all they wanted me to do was lay down each visit. Josh immediately started working on a plan and path to get me back on my feet and it’s working. In addition to Josh, the other pts have all the same goals to help their patients, not just me, every other person that walks in that door. The quality of care is making me better every day and that extends to Lily at the front desk who takes care of your insurance and maintains schedules. She is the one who answered my first phone call and said sure come on in and meet our physical therapists, and if it weren’t for her genuine caring voice, i might not have gone. As you see, i have found the place I needed to be and I am so very thankful.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Athletico for the first time with knee and foot pain early in my half-marathon training program. In a couple of sessions, Joshua was able to evaluate my form, make suggestions, and give me a list of new stretches and exercises to help with my training. A week ago I completed my half-marathon with zero pain, and crushed my goal. Joshua was also able to quickly help me solve a weight training-related popping in my shoulder with some simple stretches. If you need help avoiding injury during your fitness training, I'd highly recommend visiting Athletico and Joshua.

Experiencia fantástica: In May 2021 I began suffering from pain in my upper and lower back. Went to my PCP, had an MRI w/o contrast and was treated for muscle spasms. Tried 5 different meds to no avail. As time elapsed my pain became excruciating and went to a Spine Specialist. He took and XR and recommended more medications and a steroid injection. This also produced no results. After 4 visits and finally an MRI with an w/out contrast in November 2021 and I was diagnosed with 5 Thoracic Compression Fractures and 1 Lumbar Fracture and severe Bone Marrow Edema. By this time, I had been to a Pain Management Doctor. Had been in and out of Emergency Rooms and treated with pills as strong as Oxycodone and vein administered Morphine. I dragged my left leg and could barely walk a few feet. Our grandson who is an out of State P. T. did some research for me of Physical Therapists I could visit. He was very enthusiastic about what he had read about Dr. Whitney Holmans a Doctor in Physical Therapy, a PT and a Certified MDT working with Athletico Physical Therapy on Heritage Trace Pkwy.in Fort Worth, TX. She had experience in treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, Sports Medicine, spine and extremity related injuries and of course, cases of Osteoporosis such as mine. I was so desperate I immediately scheduled and appointment and was able to get in the next day. I have been under her care for 3 months now. The first day I walked out without dragging my left leg. In two weeks, I could see a SIGNIFICANT difference in my posture and decrease in pain level. Now I am practically pain free. This young woman is seasoned end experienced as well as eager to keep up to date in her field. Patient with her "patients " and willing to give the extra mile. I cannot conclude this review without mentioning another experienced professional who works at this same location and has shared responsibility in my care. Joshua Walters is a PT, DPT as well as a Sports Medicine Specialist. As well as Dr. Holmans, his professional demeanor is excellent. I have been blessed to have such an experienced and caring team.

Plus, they accept insurance for pelvic floor therapy (took me a while to find a place that covers this treatment)! I appreciate every therapist and the super sweet front staff. You all have made my pregnancy journey much more manageable!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Athletico at Heritage Trace for a lower back injury that happened to me at work. When I walked in I was greeted with a “hello” and smiles from the staff. Malory is the PEC(Patient Experience Coordinator) that greets you first. I was then introduced to Whitney who would be my Physical Therapist. Her knowledge and expertise is what eventually helped me to heal. I also had the privilege of getting to meet and work with Josh and Noah. Watching everyone at this facility work with people to help them heal was really a comforting experience for me. I know how much they all care about getting people better and would absolutely recommend Therapy here. Thank you to everyone for your help!

The whole crew are just as awesome, regardless of who your physical therapist is, you will get the same treatment! My insurance has tried to send me elsewhere, but I refuse to go anywhere else!

Experiencia fantástica: I started working with Alison for pelvic floor therapy to improve my diastasis recti after 2 c-sections. I was struggling to do anything that required core strength and felt that I needed more help than the YouTube videos out there. I was very pleased with Alison from the first interaction. She made me feel at ease and showed me what I could do to notice improvement. I had a 50% reduction in my diastasis in a few weeks because I remained consistent with the recommended exercisers. I worked with Whitney and Josh during the times Alison was not there to allow me to continue therapy on the days that worked for me. I was happy with the progress and their services and their wonderful personalities. I would highly recommend for overall strengthening not just pelvic floor or ab restoration. They helped me with my partial hamstring tear towards the end of treatment and educated me on what to do to allow it to heal without over doing it. Overall they are a great team and I am very pleased. I

My trainers were all very knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and made the entire visit for every visit very enjoyable. I was never pushed too hard before I needed to be and I felt progress after every visit. I feel 100 percent better since I first stepped in and I would recommend this place to anyone in need of physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: I had been dealing with left scapular pain since April without any relief. I went to arrosti and had chiropractic adjustments without much relief. I found Athletico through a friend and saw Whitney, their spine specialist, and have been working with her for only a month with complete resolution of symptoms now! I’ll be able to get back to playing hockey, working at the computer, and performing all my hobbies without any issues. Would highly recommend this clinic and Whitney for any spine issues you have!

Experiencia fantástica: I am writing this review on behalf of my husband Eugenio Rodríguez. He is a Parkinsons patient who also suffered a serious Acetabulum fracture (called the ball and socket joint). His fracture was a comminuted fracture (fractures into numerous pieces). It was counterproductive to submit him to a surgery due to this, as well as age and multiple health conditions. He had been going to a well-known Physical Therapy Group in Ft. Worth, TX for both health issues with no evident results. I however, was a patient at Athletico Physical Therapy on Heritage Trace Pkwy, Ft. Worth with EXCELLENT results with my Osteoporosis Compression Fractures. After discussing the situation with both Doctor Holmans and Dr. Walters at Athletico, Dr. Joshua Walters welcomed my husband and took over the challenge. I must emphasize that Dr. Walters is a PT, DPT a Physical Therapist in Sports Medicine and a Dry Needling Certified Therapist. His is definitely a well-rounded professional. He immediately prepared a therapy program for him including his gait and balance as well as his severe pain issues due to the bone-on-bone ailment caused by his Acetabular Fracture. In less than 2 weeks his improvement was evident. Less pain and stiffness and more gait and balance. Now 2 months down the line he is steadier and can stand for longer periods of time. His walking pattern has improved considerably and pain is much less. Joshua Walters has been a great help for him emotionally as well. He is reassured, more confident and more energetic. Therapy at Athletico is always fun, despite our pains! Both my husband and I cannot express in words how blessed we are that he is under Dr. Walters' care. This physically big man, who is a Weight Lifter, is also BIG in empathy, care and concern for his patients. Eugenio is doing boxing for his gait and balance and they have SOOO fun! I must add a plus: My husband is not fluent in English and they understand each other wonderfully. Joshua es polishing his Spanish and Eugenio his English! THANKS TO OUR P.T. Experiencia fantástica: I started going to PT the end of June just looking for a little relief from a bulging disc in my neck. I was introduced to Whitney. I had never had PT in my life so did not know what to expect. Whitney put me at ease right away. She guided me into just what I needed with kindness and understanding. I have now finished and she has me continuing at home. I would recommend Athletics at Heritage. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I haven’t taken any aspirin etc. for several weeks. Experiencia fantástica: I had a fusion on my neck and my lower back in 2021 and 2022. My doctor told me that the full recovery might take up to a year. I was in lots of pain after the surgery and this actually motivated me to get well asap. PT at Athletico saved me. My physical therapist has a specialty in spine. She knows what she’s doing. I simply followed everything she told me to do. It’s been three months since I had a back fusion surgery. I can walk an hour everyday without any pain killer and any pain. I could swim and I could do my gardening. I even quit taking pain med. One thing I’ve noticed that all physical therapists and technicians super friendly and all have a excellent manner. I tried other well known PT facilities but Athletico is the only place I felt true caring of me. Thank you Athletico.

Experiencia fantástica: We love this place! My son had surgery for his fully torn ACL. After surgery, I stoped in to check Athletico out and right away knew this is where he should go for recovery. We have been doing physical therapy 2-3 times a week with Joshua Walters, for the last 6 months, and everything is going better than imagined. Everyone at this office is so nice too. I highly recomend coming here.

My physical therapy revolves around the pelvic floor for inconstenence. Experiencia fantástica: Awesome team of physical therapists. I came in after fracture tibia, fibula and ligament surgery to repair. My physical therapist Josh is absolutely awesome. He helped me conquer my fear of even standing or trying to walk on my leg after surgery. He helped build my confidence to walk and do my very best to recover. He was very essential to my recovery! The exercises as well as constant encouragement to continue to work out at home help me through the process. Very professional and friendly atmosphere. Glad I was referred here. I am up walking and climbing stairs again. My physical therapist help me regain my life back. Extremely satisfied with the process. Thank you all for the support, encouragement, laughs and hard work. Experiencia fantástica: I have to give this place a five stars review. It was a completely amazing experience. I got injured at work.. after X-rays and MRI I was diagnosed With thoracic and cervical radiculopathy. Since I had pain in my entire left arm and shoulder was treated for therapy in different places in the area With very little progress.. until I came to athletic. I Experienced the greatest treatment with a lot of knowledge and experience of how to treat patients with cervical related problems. Besides the sympathy, respect and attention I received at this location I can tell you that This people really know how to take care and treat the cervical spine. After a few visits pain and discomfort started going away..energy and confidence started coming back. I will recommend this place 100% and I’m very satisfied with the treatment I received as a patient.

I am traveling to this FW Heritage Trace location specifically to be treated by her. Overall 10/10 experience! Allison is simply the best. I had 2 back to back c-sections within 13mo and was so lost on how to even go about recovery. Allison developed a plan of action and co-treats me with Whitney Holmans to help strengthen my core, pelvic floor, hips & lower back. They both have taken the time to understand my specific situation thoroughly. Allison & Whitney have made the at-home exercises attainable even with the chaos of having 2 little ones at home with me too. Thank you both for helping me progress forward!

Experiencia fantástica: I would just like to say that this team of Therapists are AMAZING! Josh and Whitney have exceptional knowledge and skills. They have treated me like family since I was first seen on August 22nd. Josh has been my therapist since the beginning along the help of Noah and Gaile (I hope this is the correct spelling). Lilly at the front desk is also AMAZING! I had rotator cuff surgery on August 19th. I have been treated 2 times a week since then and I'm scheduled for much of the same for the next 6 weeks. My recovery and range of motion is outstanding to say the least. I look forward to coming here each and every session. From seeing Lilly, Josh, Whitney and all the rest of the gang. You guys are like family to me.

Whitney and Josh told me that if I can work on my stretches and exercises that I could avoid surgery by moving herniated disc back and work on core and strengthening exercises. Josh’s weight lifting and athletic background took my PT sessions to another level and I am walking out of PT 7 weeks stronger than ever and going to cancel my surgery. I was pushed every session and loved every minute. I would highly recommend Josh. He is awesome!

Experiencia fantástica: Best experience ever. Lifted a plant and pulled something in my low back and pain running down to my knee. Did not want to visit a doctor nor could I get in to see them in a timely manner. I was running errands and noticed their sign and I did not have to have a doctor’s order to be seen. It is called Direct Access and my physical therapy sessions started for 10 business days. They take care of all my insurance claims plus they take self pay also. The staff are amazing, professional and very knowledgeable in their field. They also have a huge network of doctors if needed. A++ Highly recommend
