Experiencia fantástica: Went in for whiplash from a car accident and felt results after about 6 sessions in. They work your muscles with exercises for the most part, but they also did hands on stretching, massaging, and sometimes adjusting (popping) my neck and back which was great. My PT was Derek who was great and was good making me feel comfortable, great location, they have time slots as early as 7:00 Am.

Not only did she take great care and attention in evaluating the physical needs of the patient but she also developed an exercise regimen that was designed to meet both the needs and the abilities of her patient. Lastly, and most impressive, was her commitment to talking to and listening to her patient. She was gentle, kind and very direct in listening to and responding to my wife's concerns. She is definitely one of the best PT practitioners that I have encountered over many years.

Even though sometimes it is hard to. She explains why you do each exercise and what muscles it is helping you build and why. Experiencia fantástica: Select Physical Therapy has been there for me for over 10 years whenever I've needed help recovering from joint replacements and now for an injury. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The Therapists are extremely knowledgeable. They don't just say do this exercise; they explain what muscles the exercise will work and how the exercise will benefit you. They are attentive and concerned. They support your recovery both mentally and physically. Whenever I need a physical therapist, this is where I come because I know I'll get excellent care and great results.

I have been to physical therapy before and always felt disappointed by the lack of personal care and attention. Sarah was AMAZING!!!! She was exceptional at checking every angle in her assessment, she was personable, caring, professional. She took time to explain her observations to me. She was the epitome of awesome in every way! I feel beyond confident that my pain will be resolved, and I'll get stronger in the process. After years of Doctors, Specialist, 2 other Physical Therapist, Medications, MRIs, etc. I've found about 97% relief after only 6 visits with her and doing the work. She went straight to the source of the suspected problem, which had eluded all. This has kept me from deciding on lower spine injections. For the 1st time in several years, I'm able to sleep and sit with little to no pain. Thank you for changing my quality of life Lee Ann!

The therapist are very personable and cater to the needs of the client. My super therapist Brittany worked me good and relieved my pain fairly quickly. Experiencia fantástica: I am VERY satisfied with my recent experience with Select Physical Therapy and specifically the therapist assigned to me (Kristin McReynolds, PT). The entire facility always treated me with the highest degree of professionalism, courtesy and care. While it is definitely worth my noting that Kristin was one of the most knowledgeable therapists I’ve worked with (over many years and at several different therapy provider offices), the bottom line to me is that I’m significantly stronger, more flexible, and am able to tolerate much more exercise than when I first started therapy. I do want to note that unlike some other physical therapy offices which tend to use a cookbook approach for treating a particular issue, Select developed a custom plan that would best fit me therapy needs, desired outcomes, and current medical conditions. Again, this approach led to very successful results in a short timeframe. Contrary to other therapy experiences that were centered around doing the same exercises for several weeks, Select developed a treatment plan that kept challenging me more with each visit. This approach was very respectful of my time as it allowed me to improve quicker (rather than only seeing smaller, more incremental improvements in my condition). All said, I could never recommend a therapy provider higher than Select Physical Therapy on Richmond Avenue near Greenway Plaza. (And yes, I’ve been to at least five other providers over the past 20 years).

Brittany is my regular therapist, but I have also worked with Kristin and Rachel when I needed to change my regular time. They share information so that they can step in.

I am seeing immediate benefits after a few sessions. She and Select are highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: Let me preface my review by saying that this is not my first time going to physical therapy. I’ve had to go in the past for different reasons, to different physical therapy offices, and each time it had been a dreaded appointment. This was NOT the case at Select Physical Therapy! I was referred here to help treat a herniated disc in my neck, as an accompanying treatment to cortisone shots and nerve cauterization that I was receiving from my doctor. As soon as I walked in the door, the wonderful ladies at the front desk made me feel much calmer and less worried. This did not change as I kept coming back every week, and while it may seem like a small thing, it is something that is easily overlooked in medical clinics nowadays. My physical therapist is Rachel Ahearn, and she has been a godsend. I came into the office on the verge of tears, in pain, and hardly able to move my head or shoulders in any direction. From the beginning, she really listened to the issues I’d been having, and knew exactly which exercises to have me work on. With these exercises, she didn’t push me too hard, Rachel let me work at my own pace and let me stop when I felt I needed to. These stretching exercises, combined with the deep tissue massages around the “problem areas” in my neck and shoulders, have increased my range of motion DRASTICALLY. My posture has improved, I’m completely off the potentially-addictive pain medication that my previous doctor had given me, and I was finally able to return to activities (traveling, working, etc) that had previously been nearly impossible. Long story short: If you are in the Houston area and need physical therapy, I HIGHLY recommend Select Physical Therapy, and PT specialist Rachel Ahearn!

Experiencia fantástica: I had knee surgery and selected SELECT PHYSICALTHERAPY AT Shepard/Richmond location as it is very convenient for me. It proved to be a very nice rehabilitation place as the staff is very cooperative, kind and listens to individual needs. I had Manuel Hernandez as my physical therapist. He is truly a professional. He caters to your individual needs after surgery and chalks out an exercise program and explains well so you can follow up even at home. He starts out with messaging the area to increase circulation and after going thru routine for that, icing the area to avoid soreness. Chester was great as well. What makes me want to enter the place is their warmth. All the girls at reception are very soft spoken and sweet and take care of you. This is exactly the place what you need after going through major surgeries.

The select on Richmond is a great location super clean amazing front staff great smiles. The pool therapy is amazing I love this place and highly recommend it.

My other areas were much improved and the pain helped. Everyone was very considerate and helpful in all situations. The therapy was consistent and very well applied. It was the best therapy I have received.

The professionals are wonderful listeners and understand what is being said to them.
