Athletico Physical Therapy - Broad Ripple

Experiencia fantástica: Over the decades, I've experienced an array of physical therapists. The care, support, and treatments I receive at Athletico has not been topped. Justin is remarkable; his manual treatments are to die for (figuratively speaking ;-); he and the support team are guiding me well in mending my body. Beth is patient and spot-on with scheduling, re-scheduling, insurance stuff. The facility is clean, comfortable, friendly - nice windows and parking. Athletico? A+ UPDATE - 2 years later, I'm back at Athletico in Broad Ripple! Yay! (perspective is powerful) Jenna, Beth, Abi, Dan, the whole team are AWESOME! (pic is of Jenna working on a lucky lady)

Experiencia fantástica: I have spent many months here for PT, for various ailments (back, shoulder, arm, neck, wrist). The staff always adjusts and strives to provide excellent care. From the friendly greeting when you walk through the door to the final exercise, I feel known and cared for. It's rare to say PT is a good time, but we have plenty of laughs. And for what it's worth, I feel a lot better too!

Experiencia fantástica: I am incredibly grateful to live near this athletico, and their services. This is a phenomenal place, and if it weren’t for insurance, I’d say everyone should go here. But more than anything, I’m absolutely grateful to Jenna, who took me out of an incredibly dark headspace, and helped me get back to normal. I feel like my old self again, and have never felt my abs stronger. She deserves a commendation, but more importantly, a raise and a promotion for her work, care, love, and tenacity in helping people. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: I did PT at another facility in Indy this year (for my knee) and got favorable results. However, I often felt uncomfortable going in there. Their front desk staff was disorganized, the PT was pretty hands-off and some of the PT assistants (who spent the majority of the time with me) didn't know what I needed to be working on. I NEVER had this experience at Athletico or with Dan (my Athletico PT). From day 1 until my final day, the front desk staff were attentive at getting me checked in, competent with billing and friendly when welcoming me. From day 1 until my final day, Dan held the perfect balance of demonstrating the exercises I needed to do and monitoring me as I did them. I never felt like I came to the facility and was stranded while trying to execute a plan that I could've just done in my own house. Even if he was across the room, I knew Dan was keeping an eye on me - that level of investment in caring that your patients are getting the most out of their exercises means a lot. Also, the staff here are all around personable - there was rarely a day that I didn't laugh while in there. That means a lot, too. Thank you all

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place. I worry when I make so much progress that I am afraid Dan will say I’m done and I’ll have to stop coming!!! He practically. had to carry me in when I had spinal stinosis. His expertise and his pep talks got me through it it was amazing. Everyone here is so welcoming and supportive like Jenna! They turned something that people normally dread into an activity that I looked forward to. I'm not kidding. I got excited every night before my appointment because I honestly had fun every time I went in. Can't thank/recommend Jenna and the rest of the team enough.

Experiencia fantástica: Came in here after spraining my ankle 2 months ago. I had my first appointment with Dan on July 20. Completed my 8th and final visit today, August 24. Dan was great with the exercises that were needed to get my left ankle stronger. Still have work to do but he gave me exercises to continue 3 times a week with my walking and activities that I do on a daily basis. I would highly recommend Athletico.

They were very welcoming from the beginning and made me feel like a friend instead of a client. I would recommend this location to anyone who is need of physical therapy 100%!

Experiencia fantástica: I came in with a sprained ankle from running and worked with Anna. It was such a great experience, she helped me get back to running within a few weeks. She listened to what my goals were, where my weaknesses were, and gave me challenging but helpful exercises. I'm now back to running and pain free. If I hadn't gone to Athletico, I would definitely not be at the level I am today. The staff is super nice and fun, the facility is clean, and the sessions are well thought out and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Athletico PT Broad Ripple! I was greeted there with a delightful, welcoming team of professionals who were ready to help me with my neck pain/tightness. I received a thorough evaluation, with plenty of time and patience for me to ask questions. I then received a clear plan forward for my recovery, with a start to the plan on that same day. I experienced relief from neck pain on day one. I couldn’t be happier with the results from my therapy at Athletico!

Experiencia fantástica: I mainly chose Athletico because of the great reviews (and convenient location), but it's such a great facility and the people are so helpful and kind - would 150% recommend to anyone looking for PT. They diagnosed the issue during my initial visit and set me up on a recovery plan. I worked with Dan specifically and he's so great! Very knowledgeable, makes adjustments based on your injury and healing process, and (just as important) knows how to build your morale back up.

Experiencia fantástica: Marti and all of the staff at Athletico are amazing! Marti was kind, patient, and so encouraging as I recovered from my injury. She got me back to playing soccer quickly and confidently. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

Experiencia fantástica: Broad Ripple Athletico is amazing! Their staff is fantastic and they really care about getting you feeling better and able to live better. My daughter and I both saw Marti E, and she was great. She worked hard for my daughter's concussion treatment and to get her back to playing with the best and quickest steps, as well as helped me through some leg and knee issues. I have been to 3 different Athleticos and all are great but Broad Ripple and Marti really are top notch. Thank you all!!!

Working with Dan the past month has drastically helped with my progress and got me back to running and training in full force. Experiencia fantástica: I received a very serious injury and could barely walk. My Dr referred me to the Broadripple location. From the very first contact...the employees there were very caring and understanding. Although the therapy could have been impossible, due to the pain I was in.....Dan has been very patience and very clear instructions on the activities he needed me to do. Although I am still in therapy...I am feeling much better. I would recommend Athletico to my family and friends. Thx Athletico TP Broadripple

Experiencia fantástica: After a bad fall hiking and surgery, I took my wife's advice and checked out Athletico Broad Ripple. Super glad I did! Over 4 months I saw these professionals be exactly what they needed to be for each patient. I saw them be slow and gentle with some folks, and I appreciated them challenging me to do better and only half-jokingly calling me out when I was not doing an exercise right. They made it fun, and I looked forward to it (despite the hard work and discomfort)! They had plenty of slots for good appointment times, and they were flexible when I needed a last-minute change. And they knew their stuff - what they said checked out with my surgeon and they even prepared me to ask better questions to my ortho team. Thank you Athletico Broad Ripple!

Experiencia fantástica: My ortho doctor recommended this specific branch because his wife had had such excellent care when she hurt her shoulder. My experience (lower back and hip therapy from a car accident) was similar. Dan is a *superb* physical therapist (I would trust anyone I cared about with him) and the entire staff was awesome. (Thanks Beth for the great smiles upon entering and exiting, and thanks Cami for keeping the equipment so clean). My time was very well spent and I loved being able to park literally 10 steps from the entrance, every time. Excellent facility and excellent staff. Thanks Athletico Team for helping me heal - not to mention keeping me laughing throughout the therapy!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently saw Daniel (aka as Nathan at least by one person) for a stubborn six months of neck pain. (I requested him again because I had seen him earlier for persistent knee pain which has improved so much that I can now play pickleball with minimal discomfort). Just as before, he developed a treatment plan based on a thorough assessment and used measurements along with my feedback to determine my progress. I strongly recommend Daniel for his knowledge, professional style, sense of humor, support, and concern about my care. My neck pain is slowly and steadily diminishing. In addition, all his Athletico colleagues were friendly and supportive as well.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough good things about Athletico in Broad Ripple. This is my first experience going through physical therapy so I had no idea what to expect. I did my pre-hab for my ACL tear with Marti. She was great and had me feeling less nervous about having surgery. Post-op, I saw Jenna. Jenna has taken me from barely walking to tuck jumps, squats, jogging, and more. She pushes me just enough to make progress but also is very empathetic to what I've gone through and doesn't make me feel like a failure when I can barely jump over a hurdle :D. Everyone who works at this location, including Dan and Beth, are very friendly and make it a fun place to be.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in a major car accident, 2 weeks later I started physical theraphy at this location. My PT was Marti, who is really nice and also speaks spanish!! That's a plus she really helped me to feel way better than when I felt before starting therapy. I'm free of pain and I have to thank Marti for that. All the staff is super friendly ❤ Thank you!!!

I really lucked out with Jenna and am so happy to have this recovery journey with her. Not only is she awesome but every time I’m at an appointment all the staff makes me feel welcomed and help push me to my ultimate goal. They have been some of the most understand, empathetic, nice, funny and fun people that I’ve met! The environment is always fun and positive. Experiencia fantástica: I have been to the Athletico Broad Ripple several times, all for different reasons. It’s a weird sensation after throwing out your back, displacing an ulnar nerve, or hurting your ankle to have a sense of excitement knowing I will be hanging out with Jenna, Marti, and Dan. They create a real community atmosphere that helps with the healing process.

Experiencia fantástica: I am Debbie Colbert and had a great experience at the Broad Ripple location. I had the pleasure of working with Daniel. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He is attentive to your concerns answers your questions, explains what and why exercises are necessary for your recovery. He pushes you but not beyond the point of what is comfortable. Gentle yet thorough. The atmosphere is upbeat, friendly and the facility is clean and follows COVID Guidelines. Don't hesitate you will love this place My recovery was quick thanks to Daniel yet he provides tips for home sessions . Great service 2 thumps up.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to multiple Athletico locations and the Broad Ripple clinic is the best by far. The therapists, office coordinator, and aides are amazing at what they do and actually make PT fun! Parking is even convenient and right outside the door. You won’t go wrong choosing Athletico Broad Ripple as your PT provider.

Marti really takes the time to meet her clients at their needs and you can tell she really cares about her profession but also about helping people move again. She has helped me work not only on the physical aspect, but the mental/emotional aspect that ties into your overall wellness. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and I would recommend anyone needing some PT to visit this location.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience at Athletico in Broad Ripple! I started PT with Marti in August for a problem with my foot. After she resolved that issue, I asked her to work on neck pain I’ve had for 3 years and for which I got no relief from a Physical Therapist when I had PT at IUHealth three years ago. She now has that feeling 100% better and has provided me with ongoing exercises to do at home for both my foot and neck. Athletico also has an awesome support staff, convenient free parking in the garage attached to the facility, and it has a fun and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it, and Marti is the best!

Experiencia fantástica: Jenna is fantastic. I have recommended her to all of my family and friends that live within driving distance. As someone that has seen her for 3 different ailments, I can say she is by far the best PT I have ever seen. She also told me that if I write this fantastic review that she will take it easy on me when she sees me again in 3-6 months because I refuse to listen to her when she tells me I need to stretch and/or do yoga.

Beth will handle all of your scheduling and billing like a BOSS. Lauren will give you a warm welcome and help start off all of your appointments right. Marti is top tier and you will find no one more attentive and better at what they do. What more could you want??? This is the best of the best, so do not settle for less!

I came to Broad Ripple after a hip surgery, and the staff was instrumental in helping me get healthy again for my sport. The positive energy at Athletico is infectious, and it may have helped my recovery just as much as the physical therapy. Marti is the GOAT!

Experiencia fantástica: Looking for physical therapy, I was choosing between a couple of different locations, but I am so glad that I chose to go here! My physical therapist was Daniel, and he is absolutely amazing, along with the whole staff. Everyone makes it a point to get to know you and they have created such a fun and welcoming environment for everyone. They really know what they are doing and are great at it. Daniel got me feeling 100% better and I am so much more confident in doing things that I wasn't comfortable in doing a month ago. Experiencia fantástica: The staff are incredibly friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my therapy. My 5 weeks working with Dan had me in better shape than before my injury. All of the exercises I was given were purposeful and expedited my recovery. I will even continue some of these exercises into my normal workout routine.

Experiencia fantástica: LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Wonderful, friendly, welcoming staff! You must be prepared for a nickname , weather you like it or not!! Great place for a speedy recovery! I was 8 weeks out from my half marathon and it hurt to walk, lift my leg to get in and out of the car and running wasn't even an option. After PT, during my race I felt great so I kept running and ended up unintentionally setting a PR in my 3rd half marathon! All the Physical Therapists were wonderful but I must say Jenna is a miracle worker! Easily accessible location with easy parking and open availability in scheduling. wonderful all around! Great way to catch up on your weekly gossip. ;)

Experiencia fantástica: This clinic is amazing! I’ve spent a lot of time here over the last nine months and have had expert care and treatment on my knees and hip. I am an avid runner and initially came seeking treatment for knee pain that forced me to take a break from my sport. Jenna worked with me to address muscle imbalances in my hips and got me back running in the time we worked together. She also recognized symptoms of hip impingement and recommended an incredible orthopedic surgeon for me, since the the demands of my running goals required a lot of my hip. I ended up having surgery to repair a torn labrum, and for my post-op rehab, I worked with Marti for ~16 weeks, and she knows her stuff. Every recovery is different, but mine went very smoothly, and I know a huge part of that was because she has so much experience with recovery for the procedure. She answered a zillion of my questions and worked with me to come up with a plan that fit my goals and insurance. Everyone at the clinic is helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating, and they made recovery and rehab enjoyable. No one wants to have to have surgery, but I had an amazing team in my corner at Athletico Broad Ripple that made it so much easier. From start to finish, it was evident that they cared so much about my goals and getting me back to doing what I love!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a hip replacement in May and my neighbor suggested the Athletico in Broad Ripple based on his experience for PT. I'm so glad he did -- I've had some PT before on a shoulder, but knew this would be a longer-term need. The staff at this location is top notch -- they are kind, energetic (even at 7 a.m.!) and fun to be around. They treat every patient like the individual they are and you can tell they love their work. The assessments and goal setting are key -- and they make sure the patient is involved in planning things out. Marti (manager and hip specialist) has worked hard with me and puts up with my personality (I tend to crack jokes). All of the therapists and aides are great -- I've been going 2-3 times a week since surgery and have observed each with different patients. Parking is easy here and scheduling, insurance, etc. is as easy as it can be. You can't go wrong here!

Experiencia fantástica: While I would prefer not having needed their services, the therapists at Athletico in Broad Ripple are absolutely amazing. My shoulder injury was fully explained to me as well as how my therapy would address and return my full range of motion. The entire staff are friendly. Sessions were thorough with no time wasted, yet passed quickly in an environment proving encouragement, clever banter, and a sense of belonging. Concerning my therapist specifically, Marti discovered a secondary physical issue that was impeding my initial progress involving my neck. With additional exercises added to my routine, the pace of recovery accelerated! I am convinced this has made a positive impact on my overall well being. Thank you! At my last session I was encouraged to check back in if I had any follow up questions or experienced any setbacks. By the way, my physician chose Athletico for her own PT. Thank you everyone at Athletico Broad Ripple! You worked wonders, and I hope never to need your service again! If I do however, I’ll be sure to come back. Experiencia fantástica: Athletico was highly recommended to me by my doctor. I can see why, I had been going to physical therapy elsewhere but was making no progress so I switched to Athletico and am really glad I did. Marti was amazing, she listened to what my issues were and together we came up with a plan. She pushed me at every session, and after just a few weeks, I had made big progress. The atmosphere is positive and there is a lot of comradely there. If you go there you will feel like you have an entire team rooting you on.
