Experiencia negativa: Service was good when I began to bring a relative for treatment in early 2025. Ricardo was a solid therapist and always helped my relative out, and overall the treatment was very succesful as the goal of pain management was slowly being met. The treatment plan was for my relative to come as needed and to rest whenever the pain flared up and or was too intense. However something occurred in November/December with their staff. The front desk staff began to demand that I bring my relative in despite a pain flare up occuring and or the fact that they were out of town for the holidays. The demands escalated to threats of reporting them to their insurance company for non compliance despite the referring medical provider stating that they attend as needed and to not do so when there was pain or simply couldn't make it. The final straw was this week when my relative called to schedule a therapy session after being out of town for the holiday season. The lead supervisor who picked up the phone refused to schedule the appointment as long as my relative agreed to come at least twice a week regardless of the pain or her schedule. With the referring doctor already in the loop I spoke with him and my relative and we all agreed to end any care plans with Burbank Therapy Center. It is such a shame that the kind mannerisms of Ricardo the therapist were not present with their front desk staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this physical therapy center! You won't be disappointed if you get to come here. The staff is very organized, courteous, and considerate. And they all communicate well with a comfortable, relaxed vibe. The doctors, therapists, and practitioners work together as a team to train you with expertise that develops over several weeks as your sessions progress. Finally, the management is on point with submitting to your insurance promptly, notifying you when the request is approved, and working with your schedule. The success of physical therapy depends on your willingness to do the work tho, and I'm the type of patient who needs routine; otherwise, I'm all over the place. I've been in and out of shape several times and injured my knee twice doing squats etc. It took 9 months to heal and really 4 dedicated months. This time around is equally as tough, perhaps more and I'm at that same point where I kicked it up last time. Here we go! Thanks for being patient with me, everyone. Even though I live much further away now, I'm happy to make this drive. See you soon. And I'll do my best. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional, Upbeat & Cheerful Physical Therapy! My experience at Burbank Therapy Center has been amazingly helpful and restorative. They are all dedicated pros!! The facility is very clean and the staff is hygienically conscientious with equipment and exercise tools. I first came to Burbank Therapy Ctr for a torn rotator cuff, and was so pleased that I have just come back for lower back therapy. I am still in awe of the wide range of motion and strength they helped me regain in my shoulder. I always feel fantastic after my sessions. You are given a valid evaluation, conducted by a qualified, licensed professional who creates a plan of action for the therapists to follow. And boy do the therapists know their stuff! They guide you through your workouts with great attention to detail, and an upbeat positive attitude. One of the 5-Star points for me is that from the moment you walk in the door, you feel the cheerfulness and positive vibes, starting with the office manager Alyssa - a true jewel, who always greets you with a smile, adroitly handles all your admin needs, and remembers everybody’s name!! The therapists are hands down, some of the most professional, sincere, kind, dedicated, bad-a$$es to be found. To Gohar, my main therapist, you rock!! Thank you! Huge shoutout to: Hamideh (for latest eval), Adriana, Frieda, Ricardo, Alex, Evelyn, Roman & Lucy - you guys are just awesome! Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had shoulder injuries galore for the past 15 or so years, and Burbank Therapy Center was by far the smoothest and easiest to work with for scheduling and payment. Ilissa, the office manager, goes far above and beyond the bare minimum and makes certain that all of the patients get the care they need. She’s transparent about the insurance processes, patient with all inquiries, and is such a warm personality to speak with upon entering. The exercises were simple and could be done at home too. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking to rehab from an injury. During what could have been a stressful time in my life, Burbank Therapy Center made this process so smooth that I didn’t worry about it at all. I will always remember them for that!

Experiencia negativa: The energy here is really uncomfortable. You're told to do exercises with little to no explanation of why you're doing them, and then often left alone for long stretches, unsure of what to do next. No one explained what I should be doing at home until I asked directly. They’re incredibly inconsistent. You’re paired with a different person almost every time, and each one gives different instructions. Then when you go back to someone from a previous session, they act frustrated that you were doing things differently—when you were just following what the last person told you. Even worse is the way they make you feel for asking questions. It’s like they’re unwavering in their ability to make you feel like an idiot for simply trying to understand what’s going on with your own care. My last straw was being told I couldn’t use the TENS machine on my trapezius area—despite having it placed there six times before—because “I didn’t have neck pain,” according to their chart. I was gaslit into putting the machine on areas I don’t have pain because that’s what was written down. It felt like I was being punished for requesting the one consistent thing I actually liked about coming here. I know my body better than a doctor who scribbled a quick summary on a referral. The positive experience I had was with JC. He actually listened, cared about where I was in pain, manually adjusted my body, and gave me real relief and understanding. Unfortunately, he’s rarely there. Lastly, even if your appointment is clearly scheduled for 4:15, almost every therapist will act like you were late and rush through the session. I've even been told they were “missing their plans” because I was there close to 5:00—even though I showed up on time.

Experiencia fantástica: I tried several pulmonary therapies, including the one at the same location, with a different team on board. It didn't work. I started my pulmonary therapy at the Burbank Therapy Center with wheezing and shortness of breath, an ongoing problem for several years. Ilissa, the office manager, is incredible. For three years, she ensured insurance and doctor’s approvals. She is the key person in managing our therapy sessions. Aly, at the front desk, is always friendly and energetic. Thank you, Aly, for keeping my appointments regular. And of course, Alex, the extraordinary pulmonary therapist. It is with her that I learned many techniques to improve my breathing. I no longer wheeze, and my shortness of breath improved by 80 to 85 percent. I am grateful for the staff’s hard work, knowledge, teamwork, and caring attitudes. Everyone at this location works diligently. They all contributed to my improving the quality of life.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently visited Burbank Therapy for shoulder pain, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. The staff, including RT, PT, and OT professionals, were incredibly nice and attentive Gohar was my Therapist and she really helped me in achieving my goals. They made the experience very pleasant and helped me a lot. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: LOVE the care that my father is getting here! My 90 year old father has COPD/Emphysema/Heart Disease and he's been struggling with breathing. He's gone from 1 liter of Oxygen to 4 and I noticed he was declining. It was making think he wouldn't be around much longer. I was able to get his pulmonologist to approve Pulmonary therapy and that's how we came to the Burbank Therapy Center. And THANK GOD we did. It's a drive for us (because the local place no longer offered it), but WELL WORTH IT. After seeing what they've done, I'd drive even further for their care! Burbank Therapy Center has amazing staff members - from the Office Mgmt (Ilissa) to the front desk (you'll come to adore Aly and the fact that she doesn't miss *a thing* and she's super duper kind) to the therapists who *really* do care about the patients. From the moment we arrived, we were treated well. My dad and I sat with both the Occupational and Physical therapist intake specialists and got a lot of tips. THEN, we got to meet the amazing therapists on the floor who have been going out of their way to ensure my dad's therapy yielded improvements (Alex and Evelin are the main two he works with...and he adores them (so do I). Gohar is sweet and has been great as well). We've only been going there a couple of months and my dad is improving!!! He's doing well on 2-3 liters of oxygen!! For anyone who is on oxygen or has a loved one on oxygen, you understand how huge that is. We've learned SO much from our new friends at Burbank Therapy - we take the 'homework' seriously and try to get my dad to practice the breathing techniques and do the at home exercises as much as we can. Every little bit helps. THANK YOU, Burbank Therapy Center...for helping to make my dad's life more functional and, hopefully, a lot longer.

Experiencia fantástica: 5 stars for this place because Ilissa, the office manager took our case on personally when our insurance rejected the office visit we had there. She spent 2 hours on the phone with BCBS trying to get us and Out of Network auth for their facility. We were not able to unfortunately. There are VERY FEW PT places who specialize in Pulmonary Rehab and when we had no luck with our insurance company for the Burbank Therapy Center, Ilissa stepped in and helped us find a place our insurance covered from a list she personally compiled over years. She didn't have to, but she did. If that isn't an example of the kind of people who care for their patients, I don't know what is! Thank you Burbank Therapy Center! I've attached the call log below to demonstrate the level of commitment to our problem, Ilissa had: DAY 1 Call #1: Couldn't get through automated system, hung up on Call #2: Couldn't get through automated system, HU Call #3: Got through but couldn't get a person, HU Call #4: Couldn't get through automated system, HU Call #5: Got through but couldn't get a person, HU Call # 6: Got through! Got to Hold for a representative! Transferred to a nurse line for members only! I hung up :/ DAY 2 Call #7, 10:24am: Got thru on provider line on back of card. "Both" "more options" "something else" Paul 10:32am My name / cb / email gave BTC as provider gave patient's name Verified info disclaimer read to me re: payment etc outpatient facility vs provider billing? place of service CORF procedure codes: explained pulmonary rehab and indicated rehabilitative no codes covered (duh) - asked for in-for-out/SCA/LOA/OON Request and the guy acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. 11:00am regarding request "single case agreement" Asked for tips to get through but he can trx me to a live call queue :/ guess what no live rep. Popped me to the top of medical management line which is the place I was in Friday. Got thru provider info. Entered patient's insurance ID 4x, then system hung up on me.

Experiencia negativa: Johnathan is rude and disrespectful and that attitude is not cool. He does not know how to talk to people in a respectful matter and that type of energy should not be allowed in a place of business.

Experiencia fantástica: Burbank Therapy Center is a good place to be if you need help with improving your mobility, reducing pain, and the strengthening of certain body parts. In particular, Gohar is the one to see! She is kind, attentive and knowledgeable. 09/19 - Almost a year later, some more pain came along (life:) and back to BTC I went; I am still going (have a few sessions left) and the staff remains with excellent customer service. The workers are pleasant and patient; I feel better after every session. Thank you Burbank Therapy Center!

Experiencia fantástica: This place saved my life. When I first started I could barely walk 50 feet. I have very bad COPD. I have been on oxygen for about 5 years. About a week ago I walked for 15 minutes with no oxygen. I admit I walked very slowly and stopped a few times to bring my oxygen back to the 90's. But I was on my feet the whole time and covered a good distance. This did not happen very fast. After the insurance ran out and I realized how well I had done I went over to maintenance. Still had all the same wonderful therapist. I tell you that they are the best I have ever worked with. Everyone​ at Burbank Therapy is caring, loving, helpful, understanding and the best therapist ever. Solid 5 star.
