Liz has motivated her to try weight training. I love how encouraging they have been. Would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a longer review written out, but the page decided to close for no reason. In any case, I always felt motivated and inspired here, after suffering a traumatic brain injury, and starting here, once I finally got out of the hospital. My usual therapist, Raven, was particularly awesome. All of the ladies, were great, though. Unfortunately, I had to stop going because the insurance copays got too high. I'll miss Raven and company for a bit, I think.

The improvement helped me to return to participating in activities from which had been limited. She was professional, well trained and a delight to work with. Experiencia fantástica: Cathryn, at the Ortega office, was an integral part of my healing process. She is a very caring, detailed oriented therapist that really listened to my concerns, and tackled the areas that needed her help. I have had two procedures done that required extensive rehab and Cathryn came up with good therapy exercises each time to see what worked best for my situation.. She monitored my exercises to make sure I was doing them correctly during my sessions so I could do them properly at home as well to get stronger. I appreciated her care and patience with me as my pains changed as I progressed and she listened to me to figure out best way to adjust my therapy to help me. Her associates helped me too for some sessions and the Amanda, the Office Manager, kept my appointments straight! Thank you all. I highly recommend the Ortega H2H. I hope that I don’t have to have any more procedures but if I do and I need therapy I will go back to H2H at Ortega

Experiencia fantástica: First, let me say that all Physical Therapists are not the same! Since working with Liz, my balance has returned to normal and my mobility has improved greatly. Liz is definitely hands-on and has a strong desire to see improvement. She does this by showing then coaching and by manual manipulation. At times, I thought I was performing the exercises correctly but then would hear her coaching tips, “elbows straight”, “shoulders back” and so on. Afterwards, I could really feel how the correct form targeted the injured muscles. I think that’s why I’m doing so much better. Well, that and the manual manipulation! At each visit, she manually assists with my range of motion and uses a technique to remove scar tissue (thinks it’s call the Graston technique) and often utilized the practice of cupping. I thought that was for people in Hollywood, but it really works! Thank you Liz!

Erica was my therapist and was very helpful and knowledgeable about her line in the field. She even followed up with me afterwards for more helpful information and references I can't thank her enough. All in all a very good experience.

Experiencia fantástica: After months of ongoing back pain from a car accident my primary recommended H2 Ortega for an addition to the chiropractic treatment I was already receiving. I cannot overstate the difference Liz Wenzel made in my daily pain levels. She thoughtfully taught me how to correct my own alignment, stretches to relieve pressure and pain, and provided the only relief I’ve found for the pressure and discomfort that literally kept me up at nights. I will be forever grateful!!!

I will request this location for any future physical therapy needs and will happily drive the extra miles even though there is a location less than 3 miles from my home.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent facility for simplistic, generalized physical therapy. Adequate resources and polite staff. However, if you suffer from severe physical ailments, ie., back strains, bad knees, weak hips, I suggest you seek alternative facilities with better medically-trained staff.

Experiencia fantástica: DR Morgan was excellent I came in with a trap nerve in my neck , Dr gave me 3 exercises to do with in 24hrs the pressure in my neck have back off was able to sleep without meds. DR. Morgan did in 24hr what 3 doctors visits and 3 bottle of pain meds could not do. Take me out of PAIN.....Go see these guys worth every penny. from Bozie Edwards

It is a warm an friendly place and I could not reccomend them enough. Rachel, the receptionist, is also welcoming, knowledgable, and courteous.

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I walked through the door, Mat and Robin were helpful and enthusiastic. I was 3 days post meniscus repair surgery and still could not bend my knee. After one therapy session, I was greatly improved. With the homework they gave me, I was better by session 2. They kept the therapy sessions interesting and varied so it was never boring. After my four week evaluation, I had improved 80 percent. Mat and Robin continued to work with me and, after 2 more weeks, I had improved 100%. My experience was so good, I decided to continue working out at Heartland. I highly recommend Heartland, but especially Mat and Robin for their patience and kindness, and incredible knowledge of physical therapy exercises. Bravo!

Experiencia fantástica: I was injuries in Iraq, and have had 5 surgeries, and countless hours of therapy at several different Rehabilitation facilities. This last surgery was to replace my Shoulder Joint, not just a joint replacement, but I received a Total Reverse Shoulder Replacement, which entailed them to cut off the top of the Humerus on my arm, and put a joint in that is in reverse. (The Ball where the Socket was, and Socket where the Ball was). With this came a very specific therapy regiment. My therapist Elizabeth Cooper, has helped me surpass what I thought that I would ever be able to do. I give great respect, and credit to Elizabeth for getting me where I am. Her knowledge, dedication, and approach to my Rehabilitation to help me reach my goals surpassed any other therapy that I have ever received from any rehabilitation facility in the past. Thank you very much not only to her, but the entire crew at Heartland Rehab Ortega . It was a team effort from Elizabeth, Matt, and Rachel. Ive been to numerous rehab facilities in Jacksonville and If you haven’t had ASTYM it works miracles on old injuries to get back your range of motion and new injuries that cause constant aching pain. I have been coming here for various injuries for 8 years and I always get ASTYM simply because it helps with recovery more than anything Ive experienced. Go try it out I promise you’ll feel way better just after one session.

Experiencia fantástica: I started visiting Heartland Ortega in September of 2018. I received a complete intake with an experienced professional. My insurance was handled without any insurmountable challenges. I started rehab with Matt who is a very pleasant and personable man. I call Matt a friend today, His skills and knowledge helped me recover from what I considered a major foot surgery. I noticed that Matt conferred with another employee her name is Lizzy,(manager extraordinaire). Lizzy did my 2nd intake that involved a neck injury that has recurring conditions that limit mobility. I have found the basic team of Lizzy, Rachel and Matt to be very kind , personable and knowledgeable. The only thing that I can assure you of is if you work the program the way they suggest things will change for the better
