Experiencia fantástica: I have had back pain for over 25 years and tried everything under the sun. Some of it worked ok til I came and saw Dr Bray after a close friend recommended him. WOW....even after the first treatment, I could see a difference. First time I ever tried dry needling and I am a true believer! Dr Bray and his staff were very polite and attentive and he really knows how to treat my symptoms! I decided to purchase a package so I could have ongoing treatment and save a few dollars.....one of the best decisions I have made in 2016. I even had neck surgery in 2015 and still had problems afterward until I started getting treatment. If you are in pain, go see them....he is like a damn good doctor!

I was going to the chiropractor weekly just to be able to function enough to work. I had given up on the idea of being able to workout again and live a life without chronic pain, I was prepared to establish care at a pain clinic. Dr. Bray started me on a regimen of trigger point needling and NRT. Since being under Dr. Bray’s care I no longer have chronic shoulder and neck pain or migraines. This is the first time I have decided to invest in my health without the recommendation or referral of another doctor and I am very glad I chose The Craniofacial and TMJ Institute. They were very organized, clean, and knowledgable. During my first appointment, I was very curious behind the science of what was going on with my jaw and Dr. Patrick Bray gave me a copy of a research article that explained everything. Although some sections of the research article required two anatomy classes to understand, I understood the majority of it. That small detail made the biggest difference for me to better understand the types of treatments for jaw pain and to feel comfortable continuing appointments knowing that this investment in my health was also backed by science. We tried various treatments throughout the course of two months. Usually my appointments were spread out every 2-3 weeks and they were understanding, quick to respond, and accommodating when I needed to reschedule my last appointment. There was a BIG difference from my first appointment to my last appointment, especially in my range of motion and daily pain. Dr. Patrick Bray also recommended a few lifestyle changes to reduce daily pain and after being consistent with those lifestyle changes, I have also felt less daily pain. This was a very much needed investment in my health and I am very grateful for The Craniofacial and TMJ Institute for existing!

Experiencia fantástica: Prior to seeing Dr. Bray, I assumed that I would have to endure constant discomfort for the rest of my life. When I was an adolescent, my scoliosis progressed rapidly. By the time of diagnosis, the curvature of my spine was irreversible, and I was told to have surgery when they pain became intolerable. Over the course of twenty-eight years, I have seen an assortment of medical professionals who attempted to treat my pain but were unable to provide me with long-lasting relief. I hopelessly assumed that with my options exhausted, the only course of action was to limit daily activities and continue taking medication to manage the pain. After completing a series of treatments with Dr. Bray, my headaches vanished, and the muscle tension in my neck and back dramatically subsided. I can stand for longer periods without adjusting my body, sitting, or needing to lay down. I can exercise with greater ease and work muscles I previously avoided. I could barely open my mouth during the first appointments, but with his help, I now have about 85-90% range of motion again and the pain has abated. I also have tinnitus that can sometimes be quite noisy and distracting; Dr. Bray has been able to give me a good measure of relief in that regard as well. Not only life changing, but they eliminate the need for risky surgeries & he eliminates pain entirely. Don't get me wrong, it's a process. You will possibly feel worse before you feel better, but I can promise it's nothing like recovering from a surgery. Over the past 20 years, I've sought treatment for TMJ, hip, groin and knee problems from practitioners of various modalities. While these modalities helped manage symptoms, they were bandaids that provided relief for a short period of time. Dr. Bray is the FIRST practitioner (out of dozens) who correctly identified and successfully treated the root cause of my TMJ, hip, groin and knee problems. Dr. Bray is brilliant and a rare gem for the city of Louisville, state of Kentucky and this region.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter had a coccyx injury in 2014 after a fall from her horse. Recently the pain had gotten worse and was reaching her neck. After a google search I found Dr Bray and read all of the reviews. He not only encouraged her to continue doing what she loves (riding her horse) but he also helped her do it comfortably. Her pain was reduced after the first 2 sessions. After about 6-8 weeks she is completely pain free and rides several horses per day. His knowledge and techniques were incredible. He is so easy to talk to and certainly makes you feel comfortable during the process! We will be back anytime we find our bodies in need of fixing!

After four root canals, and botox injections in both of my jaws, my dentist recommended Dr. Bray. Dry needling has made such a difference in my quality of life. I feel normal again. Experiencia fantástica: What started as slight heel pain escalated to walking in pain in a matter of a few months. Me being who I am, thought it was something I could just “walk off”. Within 7 months I was limping in pain and popping Aleve and Motrin more than the recommended dosage for a large horse. I found relief after my first visit with Dr. Bray! After my third treatment I was walking without a limp! I went from seeing Dr. Bray once a week to now once a month! Initially the pain was bearable but it progressively got worse and worse until it was so bad, I was unable to move or walk without excruciating pain. Before finding Dr. Bray, I’d visited sports doctors, chiropractors, and orthopaedic surgeons who said the issue was due to inflammation or incorrect shoes and the solution was Ibuprofen. This didn’t get to the root of the problem. Dr. Bray was able to diagnose the issue and discovered muscular damage which is treatable with dry needling. Dr. Bray is thorough, careful, and kind. I highly recommend his care. If you’re an injured runner, don’t bother “pushing through the pain” to get better. The right physical therapist is a much smarter option.

In the past two years alone, I've literally spent thousands of dollars on bite guards & botox injections in my jaw to relieve these symptoms; however, NOTHING helped. My pain reached a point where it was having a HORRIBLE impact on my daily life and my ability to perform at the level in which I'm accustomed. THE THERAPY: About three weeks ago, I was referred to Dr. Bray for his dry needling therapy. I'll have to admit that the sound of the therapy alone didn't sound too enticing, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. I will be the first one to admit that it takes a session or so to get acclimate to the process, but it has literally turned me around and got me back onto the right track within the past 2.5 - 3 weeks. THIS IS HONESTLY THE MOST RELIEF I'VE HAD IN YEARS!!!! I simply can't wait to see what the end result is after I finish the full round of treatments!!! UNEXPECTED BENEFITS: My jaw muscles were so inflamed that I always looked like a squirrel with a mouthful of nuts. After the first couple of visits, those muscles had released/relaxed/decompressed (insert technical term here) and are laying down so much flatter.
