Experiencia fantástica: I love athletico, when I was sent for pt I was hesitant because the last time I had went. It did nothing. I’m SOOOO glad I was sent here. Andrew is incredible and cares so deeply. I seriously couldn’t recommend him enough, plus Becky and the rest of the staff always make such a negative thing that happened to me a good experience. I dreaded pt and now I look forward to it. No place I’d rather be twice a week.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s extremely evident that the staff at Athletico cares deeply about their clients. They helped me recover from a full achilles rupture. The exercises they prescribed me were very helpful and during our sessions, they kept a close eye on me to ensure I was performing them correctly. They continuously asked how difficult each exercise felt to make sure we weren’t doing too much but also to make sure we were pushing boundaries so I could improve. This made my time with them extremely valuable and I was able to see a lot of progress in a short amount of time. I definitely recommend their services!

Experiencia fantástica: Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service and treatment I received. Becky at the front desk is very knowledgeable about dealing with insurance and was able to walk me through the process without any hiccups, which greatly reduced my stress since I knew I was in good hands. Matt did a fantastic job of helping me regain movement in my neck and substantially reducing the amount of pain I was in. I was always listened to, treated with respect, and made to feel like I mattered. I was greeted by name every time I came in and the atmosphere is laid back. I will not hesitate to go back for any more issues.

Experiencia fantástica: PT herself was awesome! My only qualm is the receptionist was impatient and kind of rude. It ruined the experience as a first time customer. I’ve worked as a chiropractic receptionist in the past so I know what one deals with regularly and this receptionist gave off an entitled attitude. I’ve never been to a PT office before so I asked for insurance to be checked, and the response was essentially that I should do it myself, which I get that can be easier for them, but it’s not easier for me and isn’t that what a business is about? Making the patient feel comfortable and checking on insurance for them? It’s simple really, I did it when I was a receptionist all the time. I still gave 5 stars because the actual physical therapists are doing a great job.

Experiencia fantástica: Matt and the rest of the staff did an awesome job with my brother and got him walking again after a serious injury. Scheduling was always very efficient. Staff was very personable and knowledgeable.

Experiencia fantástica: I worked with Bibin for 4 months for ankle and wrist strengthening. He did a fantastic job and was always very enthusiastic and encouraging. He was great at pushing me to get better while working within my limitations. I’d recommend this facility and its staff to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I began going to Lauren after I suffered a high ankle sprain. After my ankle was rehabilitated and I was able to begin running again she conducted a gait analysis on my running to address my tight hip flexors and lower back pain. She was able to access the problem and I’ve been running pain free. Lauren was able to correctly diagnose and treat my running issues after past physical therapists (affiliated with hospital system) failed. I highly recommend her; she’s knowledgeable, personable, and highly effective. My husband now sees Lauren for a neck/back issue that he’s been seeking help for years and after seeing her he is finally experiencing relief.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to see Lauren for pelvic floor treatment after having my second child. My post partum recovery went so much better this time after a few weeks of treatment. Lauren was great during every step of the process and helped challenge and progress me every session. I came in dealing with hip and back pain along with a lot of weakness and finished feeling stronger and pain free!

Experiencia fantástica: While recovering from a stress fracture in my leg I was advised to seek out physical therapy. Athletico South Milwaukee was recommended by my doctor. I'm so glad it was! My physical therapist, Bibin Augustine, was outstanding. Not only did Bibin help me make tremendous progress in my sessions he constantly showed support, concern, and care. Extremely personable and highly recommended!

I love the education I get about why I’m feeling pain, what is happening inside my body and why we are doing the exercises and how they will help. The hands on therapy has made great improvements and I have a simple and clear home routine to keep progressing. They are so friendly, kind and compassionate here! I’m very happy I was referred here and have hope that my conditions can improve now.

They treated him with kindness yet they also recognized him for the elite athlete he is, and with their help, he was able to continue to compete, and he is doing so well now. They really know what they are doing. I also really appreciate Anne, who schedules appointments, because she was always able to get us in when we needed to come in.

Experiencia fantástica: When I first walked into Athletico in South Milwaukee I was very impressed. I greeted with a smile from Becky the receptionist. I was in terrible pain and tears were falling. I met Lauren my therapist and she was so kind and gentle. I had both neck and back problems, I was a mess! She took her time with me and explained everything clearly to me. I have been in therapy numerous times before and NOTHING compares to the care I am receiving here. I am still in therapy and making great progress thanks to Lauren.

She helped push me through my rehabilitation after both total knee replacement surgeries. Lauren and her staff are very respectful and knowledgeable. Experiencia fantástica: Lauren and all the staff working at the South Milwaukee Athletico location are the absolute best. Their knowledge of all things Physical Therapy are second to none, but the reason for returning are their great personalities. They make it not a pain to have to go to PT twice a week. Also, being a smaller location, you get the feeling you're important. Most of the time you will be one of only two patients in the building. Without having to split attention between patients, you never get the feeling that you're on your own when doing exercises or the like. I will always recommend this facility!

Experiencia fantástica: Lauren absolutely is the BEST PT that I has treated me. I went in with cervical radiculopathy that was causing tingling and pain in my neck, shoulder and arm. After 8 treatments I am now feeling great! Lauren promised that she could help me and she did not let me down. I highly recommend her. The office is managed very well by Ann who is pleasant and on top of appointments/scheduling. This Athletico is top notch!

Experiencia fantástica: Lauren has been treating me on and off issues I've had with my knee and ankle. Lauren is a professional, knowledgeable and a gifted Physical Therapist. She is always able to pinpoint the exact location to be worked on. Most recently my pain level, while running, was increasing but got better within days of seeing Lauren. She listens carefully and is attentive while you are doing your exercises to make sure that you are doing it correctly and is encouraging throughout. This is a welcoming and clean facility but of most of all thank you Lauren you are top notch and would recommend to all.

Lauren, the physical therapist, is one of the kindest, most caring people I've ever met and makes you feel like you're an old friend. She also clearly knows her stuff, lets you know what she's doing and why, and is gentle but pushes you to make progress. Anne, the office coordinator, is genuinely sweet and super accomodating. Lauren is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to meet your needs.Lauren tries to get to know her patients to help them relax while getting the care they need . I would recommend Lauren for physical therapy and the quality and care she gives. These ladies also keep everything super clean and sanitized and are very accommodating with appointments.

Experiencia fantástica: Athletico South Milwaukee is the place to go if you are in need of some pain relief and physical therapy. I've been to this location in the past and worked with Ryan. He was always a pleasure to work with. Just recently, I had to call this office again to make an appointment for a new issue that I'm having. When I heard that Ryan transferred to a new location, I was a little bummed out and nervous that I would have to start working with a new physical therapist. Anne reassured me that everything was going to be great and that I'd love working with Lauren just as much as I enjoyed working with Ryan. She was right! After one appointment with Lauren, my nervousness was gone. She put me at ease and I left my appointment feeling like I've known Lauren for years. Lauren is awesome. She's a great listener, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, funny, compassionate and has helped me make significant strides in my recovery process. The appointment times are very flexible and the staff is just wonderful. Anne is just as great and is a sweet person. She is always friendly, kind, helpful and great to work with. Lauren and Anne make a great team. I would highly recommend this office to anyone that is in need of physical therapy services.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough about how positive my experience was at Athletico in South Milwaukee! I was referred to them specifically after my spinal surgery based on the convenient location, their reputation, and skill set. Lauren is knowledgeable, friendly, and pushes you just enough to help your body heal. I’ve been going there 2xs a week for a couple months and I’m honestly sad I won’t be seeing her and Ann any more. I’ve made amazing gains and feel stronger than ever. THANK YOU!!! Oh, and just a side note. As Covid cases continue to be on the rise, I still felt safe at this location. Since I work from home, it’s one of the very few places I leave my house for. They were constantly cleaning, everyone wore masks, and you worked in an area apart from others. It never had more than 5 people there at a time (including staff), and typically it was 3. If you are looking for a place to relieve your pain, strengthen your body, have a great conversation, and have a part in getting your life back...this is the place!

Experiencia fantástica: After foot reconstruction due to a broken bone, my surgeon recommended Athletico in South Milwaukee, and I’m glad he did. I wasn’t quite sure how much mobility I would regain after surgery. On every visit, Physical Therapist Lauren would introduce new exercises to reestablish flexibility and range of motion. After therapy sessions with Lauren, I was able to flex my foot and walk again. Improvement continued, and I can now walk effortlessly and without pain. Heel to toe walking and foot flexing that I thought was gone forever returned. I am pleased with the progress I’ve been able to achieve. This progress, in large part, is due to the terrific care received at Athletico-South Milwaukee. Ann, the Office Coordinator, always did a wonderful job making sure my appointments fit within my work schedule. Lauren and Ann are always easy to talk with and both have tremendous professionalism and an enjoyable sense of humor! I highly recommend Athletico-South Milwaukee to anyone in need of physical therapy!

Lauren and Ann were very approachable and sooner than later we were making all kinds of jokes and having a great time! Oh yeah, and my back and hip felt better immediately following just our first phone call, and way better after our first sessions. Experiencia fantástica: This was my first ever surgery and broken bones. Had 2 plates and 11 screws put into my ankle. I was very scared and nervous to start PT (also a first). Lauren and Ann were very sweet and put me at ease. I was so scared it was going to hurt. Lauren works with you at your pace and is very understanding of your concerns & fears. I had nothing to be afraid of, she was gentle when needed and pushed me when I needed. Ann is awesome at working around your schedule and making sure everything is taken care of. They are also very understanding that life happens, and work with you to reschedule and make sure you don't fall behind. Plus they are great to talk too during your visits. You'll be up and out before you know it. Thank you ladies so much! It was a long road with all my complications but you guys never made me feel bad about anything.

Not only is he friendly, he really listens to your concerns, attends to your needs, encourages you throughout your session, and helps you succeed. Experiencia fantástica: After suffering with Plantar Fasciitis for four months, I finally went to a podiatrist. After two months of exercises, splints and three cortisone shots with no relief, it was recommended I see a physical therapist. I had a positive experience with this office when my daughter had a hamstring issue a few years earlier, so I requested them. Ann is a delight to work with. She is a whiz and helping make appointments around my schedule and is always cheery. Ryan took the time to find out what I had attempted so far, and about my lifestyle. He thoroughly explained the planned course of treatments, and answered questions in a way that was easy to understand during our sessions. (I would also like to point out that during various snow falls and a major polar vortex this year, they were there for every one of my scheduled appointments). After a few weeks of multiple visits and only slight relief, we jointly decided it was time for the little big guns – dry needling in my calves. What a game changer! Throughout the entire process, Ryan was attentive to my fear of needles and my comfort. The needles are so thin, you really don’t notice them until they enter the muscle. Once in the muscle, the feeling was more of a pressure, as the muscle wakes up after months of inactivity. Finally, I could feel the muscles activating during stretches the way they are suppose to and slowly but surely, I have become stronger, more flexible, and most importantly, more pain free with every passing day. While it is my goal to never see Ryan or Ann again in a PT capacity, I’m sure the need will arise. And when it does, I plan on returning to this Athletico facility.

Experiencia fantástica: I saw Ryan for SI Joint and hip issues that I had been dealing with for months. Ryan worked with me and showed me multiple exercises to help strengthen my core and I have been free of pain for months now with continued work at home!! The staff is absolutely wonderful to be around as well! I would highly recommend Ryan as a PT to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: After knee surgery i attended PT here and i couldn't be more pleased. Ryan was great! He actually listened to what i needed and cared about the pain i was in, both in office and at home. Knowing im athletic he also didnt baby my issue knee either. It was just the right amount of PT. Ann at the front desk was also the best!!! Going over scheduling options with me everytime! She was knowledgeable and patient as was Ryan. I came in with pain and swelling at a 9, im sadly but happily leaving PT with little to no swelling and pain at a 2! Last but not least all of Ryans assistants were equally knowledgeable and easy to work with! I'd 100% recommend anyone that needs PT visit Ryan at Athletico in South Milwaukee!

Experiencia fantástica: I attended physical therapy here after a pretty severe foot surgery. Ryan and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Ryan is very knowledgeable, thorough, and put my mind at ease while i attended therapy. The South Milwaukee location is not like other therapy places where you are handed off from therapist to therapist. Ryan does one on one therapy with his patients and has been a great source of encouragement for me during my recovery. I started therapy in a boot and barely walking and now I am walking in a shoe with little to no pain and am able to enjoy the activities I love. I am very glad i was referred to this place by my doctor; not only for the work we did on my foot, but for the people I had the pleasure of meeting while I was there. Thank you Ryan and your wonderful staff too!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been receiving therapy at Athletico with Ryan. I came to Athletico for hip bursitis and occasional sciatica. I am pleased to say that those symptoms have been minor since seeing Ryan. And recently seeing Ryan for a severe fall on my knee. I am very pleased with the caring and knowledgeable service I consistently receive. Ryan is very good at explaining any therapy he is recommending I enjoy coming and being helped by such a friendly crew. Anne is always so pleasant and helps with my appointments. The PT aides are equally caring and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend Athletico and Ryan as the place to go to achieve healing and confidence in knowing you are getting the best care. Experiencia fantástica: This summer's vacation was anything but relaxing when I found out I had a herniated my L4-L5 disk. The pain was debilitating. My back specialist said I would be facing back surgery, months of pain, and loss time at work. I asked about physical therapy as first step rather than diving into surgery first, he recommend Athletico. Ryan and staff worked to developed a PT strategy that helped me to strengthen my core, eliminate my pain, correct my posture, and avoid having surgery. I now have the tools to continue my progress at home and get back to enjoying doing things again. Thanks again, Ryan and Staff.
