Experiencia fantástica: Central Park Physical Therapy is an absolute winner in my book. I've had lots of PT in my life but never as good as here. Dave who is at the center of the place is is amazing . Not only does he know exactly what your body needs. but he's also a one man welcome wagon and and master of ceremonies. But most important of all an awesome physical therapist. I've never had to wait and have very much appreciated the relaxed feeling of the place. If you want the best you've found it.

Experiencia fantástica: I have so many reasons to recommend CPPT that I'm not sure where to begin. They're welcoming, professional, and really listen to their patients. I never feel like I'm being talked down to or rushed through a session. I'm also continuously impressed with the sheer range of expertise and techniques that they use. Just to name a few, they've worked with me on fascia and muscle release, movement patterns, strengthening and mobility, and even running form. I've seen improvements in all of them and my pain has gotten significantly better. I've seen so many people over the years -- from chiropractors and massage therapists, to general practitioners and specialists -- that it's just such a relief to find a place that can actually help. I really can't hype them up enough.

I am an endurance athlete and originally started working with Rik and Dean a few years ago to address a running injury. As my endurance goals and training volume evolve, I now work with Dean weekly to address any “new” issue or proactively work to avoid injury. Rik and Dean are true professionals who genuinely care about their patients' well-being Dean has a deep understanding of my specific goals and tailored a personalized plan that has yielded excellent results. Not only is his knowledge top-notch, but his ability to explain complex concepts in an easily understandable manner has been invaluable in my recovery and training. The facility itself is clean, well-equipped, and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Scheduling appointments is easy, and they are always accommodating when I need to make adjustments. If you're in need of a dedicated and skilled physical therapist, I highly recommend Central Park Physical Therapy.

I'm doing things I never dreamed would be possible in my youth and now I'm able to do them at 65 years old. Believe it or not, I'm even doing handstands. Experiencia fantástica: All the therapists I worked with were professional, knowledgeable, very kind and caring. I came in with a lot of pain on my lower back. They quickly found a true cause of my lower back pain and effectively treated the weak and tight spot of my back and neck. After a couple of weeks, I could see a huge difference and improvement in motion without annoying soreness. I strongly recommend this place and whole team for anyone who needs any type of physical therapy. And also I would come back if I ever need it again because I can trust them without questioning.

Rik has helped me so much with a variety of physical problems, and Michael is a patient teacher when it comes to showing the right and wrong way to do a particular exercise. They both display just the right balance of humor and support during what is often a difficult process (i.e., when one is in pain).

I know of none that exceed the knowledge, ability and overall pleasantness in evidence here. I recommend them highly for post-surgical treatment and rehabilitation after orthopedic injuries. For those about to undertake seasonal sports in particular, a session or two on the finer points of stretching can prevent later injuries.

Experiencia fantástica: A year ago before the covid pandemic I was a patient with Central Park Physical Therapy. During the pandemic I stayed in Georgia. I had injury and my knees were not feeling well. I waited to be back to New York and have physical therapy done with them because I had an excellent treatment experience during the time I had it done here. Dean was really excellent in addressing my concerns. He was pleasant, caring and very professional in approaching my medical needs. I highly recommend this clinic when you have physical therapy issues.

Was referred to Central Park Physical Therapy and much to my amazement found relief after the first visit . Obviously I continued with my therapy until the pain was gone , not reduced but gone .Rick , Dean and the entire staff are welcoming and professional. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming to Central Park Physical therapy for almost 3 months now and I can’t recommend them enough! I had intense shoulder pain that no one could figure out and I had been to about 5 other physical therapists and no one could help me. One of them even made it worse. But after my first session with Dean, I already felt like a new person. We were able to take it from really really intense pain to almost no pain in an hour. And three months later, I can’t even remember which shoulder it was! He really takes the time in every session to see where you are and how he can best help you.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this office. Everyone here is so nice and professional and always very COVID safe. I’m very cautious so I was worried to go to a doctor’s office but the space is big and not crowded. It’s a very calming atmosphere. Everyone is always on time, professional, and very helpful. Staff is super nice and I always walk out of there feeling better than when I came in. Dean is very hands on and attentive and also taught me new exercises to do at home that help me feel better every day.

I attended before PT facilities in Cornell Presbyterian hospital and HSS and I knew that they could not devote all the time and attention on my personal problem, as they have several people at the same time. But I needed personal attitude and very gentle and professional help. So I was looking for it, and my friend, who had the same problem , recommended me Central Park PT. Rik was recommended as a physical therapist and was incredibly helpful. I felt better just by walking into his office. The integration of mind/body were immediately apparent. One day later I felt much improved with clear instructions on how to proceed with self care of my back. I highly recommend him. Having had previous PT experiences I found him to be unique.
