Experiencia fantástica: I have worked at North Mountain Medical and Rehablilitation Center for seven years, and each year, it has gotten better and better. The staff is friendly, but the patients and visitors are what make it worthwhile. It's nice to be part of a team full of people who genuinely care about the well-being of both the residents and their families.

Experiencia fantástica: North Mountain is a very great place to recover after an accident or when you have other respiratory needs. Staff are very great and nice. They respond quickly to your needs. They are patient with me in my recovery. Therapy team is very nice as well. They make you work to get better. They take very good care of me.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm an event planner and professional designer in the valley. I was hired by North Mountain to decorate several of their events from 2012 -2016. While visiting their facility upon dozens of times I have always been impressed with their staff. They have been extremely willing to help out with whatever I needed assistance with, offered help, kind and polite. I'm very Particular about my environment. I enjoy a smoke free housing and social atmosphere along with cleanliness is a MUST. North mountain meets those expectations. I also have noticed that they stand by their word. What they say is what they do. I REALLY appreciate that. 5 stars for north mountain!!

I am an RT lead and it is amazing to see all of the patients we have helped return home to their families. I spend a lot of time at north mountain and I can honestly say that the people who work here are like a second family. They are a group who truely care and want the best for their patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Super friendly staff that's always willing to help even if its not their specialty. For example, I always see other staff members answer call lights even if they are not assigned to the room. The respiratory team is just amazing with all the patients that they wean off the vent. Its just amazing to me.I think all the staff is great and happy. Everyone is always saying hi and smiling...great atmosphere with positiveness throughout the whole building!

Experiencia fantástica: I have worked in the medical field in the Phoenix metro area for over 20 years. Through the years I have held several different positions that has allowed me to experience skilled nursing facilities first hand. I have worked in facilities, worked with many different ones as a Case Manager who followed patients in the buildings, and did investigations of complaints about facilities filed through Adult Protective Services. In all my years of working with skilled nursing facilities, North Mountain is by and far the highest quality building I've seen. From the second you walk in the front door and are immediately greeted by the friendly and helpful reception staff, you are made to feel at home. When walking through the building there were no typical 'nursing home' odors and there was an abundance of staff who were all busy but didn't hesitate to offer a smile and stop to introduce themselves and inquire if I had any questions. It was apparent the staff really take their jobs seriously and care about the patients. I have no reservations in recommending North Mountain to anyone who is in need of high level nursing and respiratory care.

Experiencia fantástica: My good friend was transferred here from the hospital after battling COVID. He arrived from the hospital on a vent and numerous bed sores. The good people at North Mountain Rehab got him healed up and off the vent! He is now back home with his friends and family doing well.

Experiencia fantástica: Truly one of the greatest rehab facilities , not only in Arizona, but in the nation. Clinical results are unmatched anywhere. The staff is as good as they come and try leadership team is the best of the best.

Experiencia fantástica: I am writing this review from my perspective and also on behalf of my husband who was the patient. My husband was a patient from 2/15/22 through 8/31/22. It was continuous with 2 hospitalizations during this time. He was hospitalized since Nov 2021 then transferred to this facility on a ventilator. He was very ill, facing one crisis after another on a daily basis. I visited daily- mostly evenings/nights. I observed firsthand how he was treated along with other patients. The respiratory department provided excellent care, the Director Amy always was available for all of my questions, Janice, the Nurse practitioner as well. Her bedside manners were wonderful- she is very caring and thorough. ALL of the Respiratory Techs are great. They worked endlessly to make sure my husband improved and was cared for. This proved to be difficult much of the time as he was very sick. But they always greeted him/us with a smile, they were patient with my questions and they truly cared. They truly went above and beyond and we are so very grateful. The nurses were also great, they were patient and compassionate. Always willing to help. The CNA’s work long hours but they all provided great care and service. Physical and Occupational therapists did a great job working with my husband. They were patient, they went at his speed, and they got him up and walking. Calli and her staff are wonderful and know how and what to do for each patient. This facility is not perfect… no place is. The rooms are a bit small but you make it work. The facility is clean, the staff really work hard and my husband says he felt like family were caring for him. It is difficult at times to get through to the nurses, but they are quite busy, sometimes short staffed as are other departments. But I would keep trying and would get through. You can also request an update at the end of each shift which makes it easier to speak to the nurse. We treated all staff the way we would like to be treated and we never had any issues during my husband’s lengthy stay. All departments were accessible, they returned calls, they welcomed questions and concerns and they were very helpful. My husband was sad to leave but since he improved greatly, no longer on a ventilator and able to continue recovery at home, we sadly said good bye.

Experiencia fantástica: This facility saved my mom. She would not have recovered if she went anywhere else. The staff was more than accommodating and made her feel comfortable enough to recover. She is home now and doing great. We would highly recommend this facility for any of your loved ones. Thank you North Mountain staff.

Experiencia fantástica: North Mountain fulfilled all that we were looking for and more! Their RT staff was amazing and so attentive to our needs. Each one was great and special kudos to Janice and Jeff. Their PT, OT and ST staff were very aware of what needed to be a accomplished and did all they needed to do and well. Their nurse’s and CNA’s did a wonderful job as well as all other employees. Jessica, our social worker was the BEST! We would definitely recommend North Mountain Medical and Rehabilitation without question!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough about how amazing North Mountain Medical is. It's hard to find a place for a loved one that checks everything off your "must have" list. The facility itself is amazing-very clean. What really gives my review the 5 stars is the staff! They are so incredibly kind and patient. I wish more places hired a staff that actually love what they do and take care of their patients! I took my grandma to another facility in the past and she was treated horribly. I always thought,"why do people work doing what they do when they clearly hate it?" I never had to worry with North Mountain. She was always happy and my mind was always at ease. North mountain's communication is great and it brings tears to my eyes what a wonderful experience they provided. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You are doing more than you even know!

The therapy department consists of well rounded individuals who truly care about their patients well being. North mountain is certainly a 5 star facility.

Upon arrival today, I met with Mitchell who was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. While their facility was currently not open to visitors, he met me outside to answer all my questions. It was nice to be greeted in such a pleasant, professional manner. I look forward to going back in the near future.

U actually get to see some individuals come entering with a very traumatic situation to leaving and going back home to enjoy their family and life. I do believe we have a great team and North Mountain and it’s staff does their best to provide quality care. I had a loved one here at this facility for a little over 6 months and the care and love they showed him made me feel very comfortable he was there and to add it was during Covid while we were not able to visit him. The staff at North Mountain treated him as if he was part of their family. Such knowledgeable, caring and loving staff work here. Thank you!

Everyone in the therapy team is fantastic. Shannon was a great mentor and teacher throughout my time here. I owe all the credit to her, without her I would not feel as prepared or confident in myself to be able to handle the patient population and demand of this setting. She prepared me well and gave me the guidance to succeed.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had the pleasure of working with the staff at North Mountain for over 8 years now as an outside company assisting with the transition to home from North Mountain. The case management team is fantastic and always go above and beyond to make sure that the patients get the care they deserve for when they head home. Dedication, constant communication and follow through are just 3 of the biggest qualities that I have always experienced from the team at North Mountain.

They treated her with respect and accommodated all of her requests. The doctor caring for her was kind and compassionate and communication was top notch! I am so glad she was able to go there to recover, she is at home now, happy and feeling much better…she is even cooking for herself! Anytime I have concerns they address it immediately or they notify me immediately if they have concerns. The staff are caring and professional. Experiencia fantástica: I have been working for North Mountain Medical and Rehab for almost 2 years and have loved every minute of it. The administration team I work with is amazing! They are well organized and truly care about providing quality care for our patients. Our Social Workers go above and beyond to assure a safe discharge for our patients and our activities department provides our patients a quality experience while they are here by offering activities such as bingo, movies, sensory stem (for patients who are unable to participate) and more. Our nursing staff cares about the needs of our patients and strive to provide quality care. I have seen our respiratory and therapy departments perform miracles! From patients being weaned from a trach/vent to patients walking out of our facility on discharge. Not to mention, our dietary team strives to please the taste buds of all of our patients transitioning back to eating.These are only some of the reasons I love being a part of this team!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been here for a month. Respiratory and nursing staff have been great! The doctors have been involved in my recovery throughout the process. I'm going to miss the girls in activities, they really helped the time pass quickly. Therapy was great too! They push you through the tough times and it really benefited me! The staff was very personable and I appreacieated that.

Experiencia fantástica: I like Gordon and his staff in therapy. The nurses here are excellent!. They care about the patients. Everyone here goes beyond their call of duty to make sure you are comfortable. Not all the bad reviews you hear are really bad. I read some bad reviews and they didn't come from the patients but from the family members. They are getting patients up for meals and it takes time and the family members don't see that. The activities department helped keep my mind occupied. Nydia and her staff saved me from being depressed. I'm happy that they got me to the point I am now and got to go home.
