He never minimizes my concerns and he has great techs who help. Garrett is also very personable and is interested in learning about my family and my personal goals in regards to my physical fitness. Experiencia fantástica: My experience at Spooner Desert Ridge was absolutely incredible. I have to shout out both Molly and Richard who did an amazing job at making me feel welcomed and made my recovery process so smooth. I went in twice a week for about 6 weeks after having a total hip replacement (in my 20s). I walked in my first session still nervous, stiff, and not sure how quickly my new hip would feel "normal". Richard quickly got me working on my mobility and week after week challenged me with new workouts. My 6AM sessions twice a week with Molly & Richard were exactly what I needed to gain confidence and strength. I'm so happy and grateful for both of them and would highly recommend choosing this location. P.s. I miss you guys!!!

It's never a great thing to NEED physical therapy, but this facility always makes it fun and never push you past what you can do. My therapist, Aaron, developed a comprehensive treatment plan that has given me the building blocks of consistency and progressive rehab. I am developing strength and range of motion faster than I ever expected. Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to get my physical therapy at Spooner (Desert Ridge Tatum Blvd. location) for several weeks now. All the staff have been very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional in every detail and approach in my treatment. From the front desk to the therapists and assistants. My therapist, Molly, as well as Richard have been nothing less than stellar with their care, AND with the care of my wife, who is also receiving care from them. They have gone above and beyond with our treatments, which are for different things. They do not just have us doing the tasks on their list, as if we are simply a task item to be checked off, they also listen and have empathy when we are not having a good day or if something is not working right, etc. They customize their treatments to fit our individual needs physically, but also mentally when one at times might get a little frustrated. My wife and I have been medical professionals for years, we know a thing or two about empathy and having to help patients with individual needs. Aside from Molly and Richard, I have encountered many other therapists there as well as front desk employees who have shown the courtesy and professionalism needed in this and in any field, particularly in healthcare. Each person myself and my wife has interacted with, has been amazing. In addition, there is such a great teamwork environment there. If someone can’t get to something, without hesitation or being asked to, someone else helps out. Very important. I am also a combat veteran; I know a thing or two about teamwork. They get the job done!! Lastly, recently there was an incident in which a patient was being difficult and very uncooperative with the therapist. The patient was not being nice, raising their voice, and being at times, even mean to the therapist. Now, I do not condone that behavior from anyone, even a patient, but patients are in pain, they are worried, they have much on their minds. So, at times, patients can be irritable. This was one of those cases. The therapist handled the situation so professionally and so well, an instructional video should be done using his approach as an example of how to handle something like that the correct way. Not only patient began doing therapy, but at the end, the patient was laughing and had a complete attitude change. It was awesome!! In closing, I give a 5-star rating and I would highly recommend to anyone needing physical therapy to come to Spooner Rehabilitation by Desert Ridge Marketplace on Tatum Blvd. Thank you all for your excellent care. I've been going a couple times a week for a bit now, and have made great progress with my injury. Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love Spooner and ALL of the staff. "Everyone" makes such a happy effort to say his and remember my name. The all find some way to try to connect on a personal level as well and it makes me feel well cared for. I am not just a number like some places, here anyone who helps me puts their heart into making me better. It's been little over a month on treating a very bad knee and I am now walking better and can get around without so much pain. My PT is far from over but I have no doubt Heather and the crew are going to get me running a marathon when done. All the team are very knowledgeable on the excersizes and watch me closely to ensure proper movements. So many laughs here too I love people that can laugh and silly things with me it helps break up the seriousness of my painful knee and condition. I would highly recommend Spooner and I love Heather to pieces she is such a kind soul.
