Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking Voice Therapy sessions with Joanna Skogman for the past couple of months. Ms. Skogman is an excellent therapist. With her help my voice has improved significantly. Ms. Skogman is knowledgeable, patient, and puts patients at ease. She has equipped me with helpful skills that will enable me to continue great breathing and voice control even after being discharged from therapy. I can highly recommend Ms. Skogman and thank her for all her help.

Experiencia fantástica: After experiencing an injury which affected my shoulder, neck and back. I suffered the most excruciating pain of my life sans natural childbirth for about 6 weeks waiting for my PCP to see me. Needles to say, I visited the ER which helped a little but then sought care from an orthopedic doctor. I was then referred to HealthLink. Best idea for my recovery. Each of the therapists that I worked with were genuinely concerned about my recovery and gently coaxed me to a level of pain free existence. The exercises were just what I needed to regain strength back in my arm and relieve the stress and pain in my neck and shoulder. Thank you Shalena, Sonia and Josh for taking such good care of me. I also appreciate the info regarding the Bitters Road facility for continuing with my health journey. Keep up the fantastic work everyone!!

Experiencia fantástica: I injured my shoulder & lived with the pain, for months, hoping it would go away. It didn’t! My primary care doctor prescribed physical therapy & I am so grateful that he did. My primary therapist was Shalena, but I also worked with Sonia, Josh & Avery. They were all kind, compassionate, positive, cheerful, & very knowledgeable. They each worked me hard, which I wanted! They varied the exercises, which made each session challenging & fun. I couldn’t have had a better experience! In addition, the receptionists up front are very helpful, pleasant & professional. Experiencia fantástica: I first went in thinking this therapy was not going to help me just to find out that it was amazing. It was really good. The staff was great. They answered all my questions got me through the therapy. I went in there very skeptical and came out with a different view of this therapy. Everything came out good the therapy seem to help out and I still do some of his therapy at home once or twice a week as needed.

I used them in 2017 after having rotator cuff surgery on my right arm, and again this past couple of months for physical therapy on my left shoulder. I can't say enough about each one. Thank you front office staff, Tristan, Denise, and Tabitha for your friendliness and help at each of my visits. Josh is an awesome therapist. Each specific exercise given targeted the specific area and after 6 visits, my shoulder doesn't hurt. Sonia, is another awesome therapist. The entire staff deserves so much credit for what they do.

Experiencia fantástica: WOW!!!! This is the best crew of folks I’ve ever had the honor to work with in my many years of having to go to to PT!!! I’ve had 15 knee surgeries, 1neck, 1 rotator cuff shoulder surgery and finally the right full hip replacement!!! The hip is when I met Shalena, Josh, Evan and Troy!!! When I got to PT 2 1/2 days after the surgery I could barely walk and not just due to the surgery, but the atrophy that had happened to my leg muscles!! 2 1/2 months later and I’m killing it. All of them pushed me and I did everything they asked and then some!! They are an amazing group and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CREW!!! You Get What You Put Into It!!! Extremely blessed to have been honored by these young folks in a tumultuous year for sure!!!❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I was having Sciatica pain which is a sharp shooting pain running from my lower back, through the buttocks down the back of my right leg. My doctor recommended Baptist Healthlink at Stone Oak which offers an outstanding outpatient physical rehab by licensed physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists. Josh and Evan were my physical therapists. Both therapists are dedicated professionals who are courteous and very knowledgeable. They took the time to listen to where I was having pain. They explained each procedure/exercise, and demonstrate what was required to gain full advantage of each exercise. They were more than willing to answer my questions and provide explanation on any of their treatments. In addition, they made sure that I had a copy of the exercises for home use. I started out with one type of therapy (lower back) and later added another therapy for a different problem (weakness in the right knee). After 3 months (19 Jul- 19 Oct 22) of physical therapy, I’m back to my normal functions, so that I can do what I needed to do on a daily basis. Going through this process showed me that both therapists cared about my conditions. Josh and Evan are a tremendous asset to this company. I want to thank you both for a job well done and helping me feel like my old self again. Please know that both of you are so appreciated and the work you do is priceless. I enjoyed and benefited from all of my sessions. Also, I want to commend the receptionists. They are very courteous, friendly, and do an excellent job of accommodating all visitors and patients quickly and safely. I would highly recommend Baptist Healthlink and their therapist staff at Stone Oak to anyone who is in need of compassionate comprehensive physical therapy program.

I started out in one type of therapy and later added on another for a different problem I was having. Josh and Noemi showed that they cared about my conditions and helped me return to normal function so that I could do what I needed to do on a daily basis! Experiencia fantástica: I wasn’t sure what voice therapy was about until I had to go. Joanna Skogman at Stone Oak location was absolutely amazing. By the time we were done by voice had improved tremendously. Not only did we do a lot of work in our sessions, but she made it fun and we had a lot of laughs. When we completed my therapy it was bittersweet because I knew I wouldn’t see her weekly. If anyone needs voice therapy, I highly recommend Joanna.

After 4 months of physical therapy, I feel around 85-90 % recovered .Thanks to both therapists for a job well done.

Experiencia fantástica: My previous numerous experiences with PT had left me with a negative feeling because of the universal attitude of therapists I had encountered: we expect you to become another Tarzan in 6 weeks but we know this painful and frustrating experience won’t help you one bit. WHAT A SURPRISE I FOUND AT HEALTH LINK STONE OAK! My therapist, Sonia Pethani, was professional, attentive and explained in detail what the exercises were designed to accomplish. She was especially responsive by tailoring my therapy to address my severe back, neck and shoulder pain without lessening the effect of my pulmonary therapy. My breathing has greatly improved. I actually looked forward to appointments. I wholeheartedly recommend Sonia as a great pulmonary PT therapist for anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Shalena Crawford . She has been my therapist since the 2nd week November, 2021 .I have had many injuries needing therapists and I can truly say she has been the best. She is professional and knowledgeable and very nice person to work with and understanding the pain I was going through after my knee replacement. But she worked with me and would push me to work harder for my own benefit. What I did notice about her is every time I came for treatments she always had different exercises to do and they all worked. She would also accept the days that I was in a great deal of pain and I was not sociable and she would change my attitude afterwards by cheering me up and getting to work. Right away I liked her personality. She worked me hard and and all I can say, “Thank you for the great job you did for me”. This Friday will be my last day with her and and I will miss coming to therapy with her. God bless you Shalena.

Experiencia fantástica: From my first entry interview, until the recent final session, the whole process and atmosphere within the Stone Oak facility was impressive. All therapists, along with support personnel, were instructionally precise, confident, and friendly while maintaining an appropriate level of professionalism. They were patient, affable, and seemed truly interested in outcomes. Their ability in managing two to three clients at a time was noteworthy. My particular needs were well addressed and I would highly recommend this location.

I was not feeling good after knee surgery and afraid of not being able to work out as I used to before surgery. Shalena is great and helped me go through this process. Experiencia fantástica: Due to my occupation my voice is needed for my career path. When I was told I damaged my vocal coords and needed voice therapy I was completely anxious to almost the point depression. Those anxieties were quickly cast away by my speech therapist Monique. Seriously, I’m not trying to use flowery words or exaggerations, she was seriously so professional, and committed to helping my voice heal, as well as being super friendly and easy to work with. We shared a lot more laughs then I thought speech therapy would have! And it was apparent she has a passion and love for helping people with vocal problems such as me. Though there was life changes and hard work I had to do with how I speak and talk and have to do moving forward she made it a lot more easy to understand and show exactly I needed to do and how to do them . She would correctly gently, when I wouldn’t grasp a exercise completely and always encouraged me every session. If any of my friends require speech therapy as well, I would highly recommend this place and especially Monquie!

Experiencia fantástica: I owe the physical therapy team at Stone Oak my life in a sense. I had terrible hip pain from a pulled muscle. It kept me from doing most everything that I loved. I learned stretches to relieve the pain and exercises to make my hips and core stronger. Just what the doctor ordered! Really! Everyone was friendly and my therapist listened to me. This was important because I also have a sensitive knee and he worked with me to not aggravate the knee in the process. Now it is up to me to keep going with everything that I learned. I miss these guys. They were great in cheering me on and at the same time taking my healing step by step until I was once again able to enjoy my life activities. I am forever grateful and I have no qualms about recommending Stone Oak Healthlink to others.

Experiencia fantástica: Healthlink Physical Therapy - Stone Oak has been a godsend for me! I highly recommend them! I've worked with Multiple PTs there -- mostly Josh and Laura. I was in a lot of pain from scoliosis in my back. They have taught me exercises and principles to be able to walk, lift, sit, stand, climb steps, etc. without pain. My mobility has increased because I know what to do to keep from being in pain. I must also tell you that the positive attitude from the PTs was very uplifting. They were always gentle and kind, but gave me a serious workout at every session. They made sure that I was not in pain during my sessions, and worked with me on those pain issues to become stronger, to "use my core" to function without pain. Staff was professional and friendly and a delight to interact with.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Healthlink PT at Stone Oak for a rotator cuff tear. It was my 1st time, at 65 years old, to require physical therapy. Everyone was superb, friendly, supportive, and very knowledgeable. Also, a very clean, well organized facility. I won't list any one by name, as I felt that every staff member, from the receptionist, to each therapist that worked with me was wonderful. I hated (truthfully) for my therapy to come to an end, as they felt like family/friends, and I enjoyed the continued push to improved health and less pain. Highly recommended.

The reception area is rather small but the staff does a great job of accommodating all visitors and patients quickly and safely. The area where therapy is actually conducted was very clean and very spacious. The equipment was in good shape and the therapist themselves were all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable job. They are more than willing to answer your questions and provide explanation on any of their treatments. I both enjoyed and benefited from all of my sessions. Experiencia fantástica: I spent 8 weeks under the care of therapist Sonia Pethani. She is kind and caring and very patient and helped me recover from a serious ailment. I went from barely walking out of the hospital and on supplemental oxygen to 8 weeks later running on the treadmill elliptical and multiple strength and conditioning exercises and no longer needing oxygen. Her expertise in pulmonary issues is the best and helped me get my lung endurance back to 100% . The staff is very courteous and booking appointments was easy. I recommend Sonia to anyone who is serious about getting their health back to normal.

Experiencia fantástica: I just completed my PT for a knee replacement! Shalena C is excellent...knows her stuff and fully explains the whys and why nots of the exercises. Answers all questions and I appreciate that she shares her knowledge with the younger PTs or soon to be PTs. The location has all the right equipment, is clean and well maintained. In this time of COVID it's large enough to space out patients although I never found it overly crowded. I'll be back after my next knee replacement!

Experiencia fantástica: Sonia Pethani was my therapist while undergoing rehab to acquire more balance, as I had had a number of unexplainable falls. Sonia was always extremely pleasant, and a lot of fun to work with. I observed Shalena discreetly monitoring those working under her. I had a lot of fun boxing around the room with Evan as well. I feel that my time there was well spent and I hope I can keep up the good exercises that they taught me.

Experiencia fantástica: I had left knee replacement in Aug. 2019 and rehabbed it with Shalena and Adam. I had a very good recovery and credit that to the excellent care given to me by these professional physical therapists. I returned to Healthlink after right knee replacement in Mar. 2020. Continued PT with Shalena and have been very pleased with the results. If you follow instructions and put in the work, this facility and their dedicated staff can help you obtain an excellent recovery.
