Experiencia fantástica: After an initial evaluation my needs were determined and we set goals. This was done with my Orthopedic surgeons' report in hand so we were "all on the same page". During my sessions I might work with my initial evaluator or another physical therapist. All therapists are in continual contact with each other, making sure that all my exercises are appropriate. I was given a handout to take home showing me the exercises I should be doing on a daily basis. I've tried physical therapy before, but Select Physical Therapy really makes me feel like I'm in good hands. For the first time, I feel like I might reach my goal!

I have been seeing Leroy for a a month now for my ankle and he has done wonders working on it. His knowledge and expertise is amazing. he listened and carefully diagnosed me, clearly explained everything, and created a successful and dynamic program for rehabilitation. Moreover, he's brilliant, friendly, and patient.

Experiencia fantástica: I wish I could give 10 stars! Dr.Sarah is hands down the BEST PHYSICAL THERAPIST I have ever been to. She works very hard at getting your injuries healed and making you whole again. She listens to your concerns and expectations, I mean come on, we all know how hard it is to find a Dr. that will listen to your thoughts and concerns these days and incorporate them into your treatment plan, but Dr Sarah does! She is very skilled and loves what she does, it's obvious by how hard she works. I would also like to say how wonderful Raki is who runs the front of the facility. She is so kind and always smiling. Just what you need when your not feeling well, she is very professional and stays on top of each patients needs, like authorizations, Insurance claims, workman's comp etc. The whole staff is friendly and caring, You will get a workout here to get better, I love this place! ‍♀️

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been in physical therapy off-and-on for 12 years with various providers following a catastrophic accident to my legs & back. I’m in my first week with Ms. (Dr.) Sarah, and I’ve made more progress faster than with any other provider, emphasizing my not trying to do too much too fast, very firm and very professional. And their facilities are very pleasant and comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: My first experience with Select Physical Therapy was a couple of years ago when I was referred by my primary care physician. I was having pain in my right knee when walking. At that time I was waiting for my insurance to approve an MRI and my PT explained that we should wait until I had my MRI before we try doing any physical therapy. I am thankful because the MRI showed I had many tears in my meniscus. So, after my surgery, it was back to PT. After my 12 visits and discipline with my PT treatment plan, I had excellent results. A year after my pt success, my son broke his hip playing football for his high school. Unfortunately the only way to repair the type of fracture was with lost of down time and pt once healed. At this point my pt had left Select Physical Therapy and a gentleman by the name of Tyler had replaced her. After my son's 12 authorized visit his hip has never been stronger AND he was back playing RB for his school. My son even tried out for track which he's never played and his PR made finals for the 100, 200, and 400 meters race. Now, my younger son injured his right foot and is currently under Tyler's supervision as I was adamant that my younger son receive Tyler's treatment because my son is being scouted by college coaches. Tyler is a exceptional PT and his knowledge and commitment go beyond excellent. Thank you Tyler for helping my boys recover but also improve their performance on the field.

The place itself has great equipment and is very cozy and clean. AND my PT Sarah is just the best, caring human ❤️ She's very experienced and has the best attitude to treat and help others. I couldn't have chosen a better place to work on my knee issues.

Experiencia fantástica: Went to Select for my L5-S1 herniated disc. I am getting PT with Tyler and after the first session I’m already feeling so much better. They did a thorough evaluation before even trying therapy with me and gave me a routine to do at home to help my injury. I am so thankful for them because I’m already feeling less pain and I’m so excited to get back to my baseline.

You walk out feeling you like you had a great session, personal attention, people that listen to what’s wrong with your body and want to help you get better. I have been coming here for over a year now for treatment. I keep requesting this location when they have allotted more treatments. The trainers are very friendly and knowledgeable and willing to take that extra step to make sure your injuries are addressed. The office is very clean and well take care off. The trainers take the time to teach and preach. Tyler is my trainer and he has be very informative. Keep up the outstanding work.

Sarah always listens to my concerns and makes me feel better before I leave, they give me constructive exercises that I can actually feel working and the staff always makes my experience enjoyable. Experiencia fantástica: My 6yr old daughter broke her leg and after the cast was removed 8 weeks later she had trouble walking right and couldn’t bend her knee and ankle very much even after a few weeks. We were afraid she was never going to be able to do the things she used to do ever again. We were sent to Christin at Select Physical Therapy and after a few weeks she she started doing so much better. I have never seen somebody work so well with kids, ever. Christin is kind and patient and super motivating and knows just what to do to keep a child engaged. We could not be happier that we were sent here and especially that we got sent to Christin.

Experiencia fantástica: i started physical therapy at Select PT / Ruffin Rd over the summer, due to a flare-up of sciatica. I was immediately impressed with Tyler (the PT with whom i worked), both for his very personable style but also his work to help understand and treat underlying issues (including need to both strengthen and stretch.) When i developed a different but new issue, Tyler helped to pivot my program of treatment. I appreciate the attentiveness of staff and the friendly feeling of the place. While i am healed at this point, if i developed any new issues in the future, i would definitely return to Select PT!

I appreciate her attention to detail when treating my injuries. She takes the time explain the why and comes up with a treatment plan that is efficient and specific. I also liked the patient care plan link that sends my at home exercises to my email. (So I don't forget) - Priscilla and Erin are both knowledgeable and offer corrections as I perform the exercises. They allow me to do the reps at my pace and adjusting of I am in too much pain. Ms. Rocky the front desk staff was very patient when I switched insurances, even with the back and forth of authorizations. The intern Chris is very professional and thorough.

I’ve seen numerous physical therapists previously, but haven’t seen the results I achieved at Select within just a few sessions with Paul, who is great for shoulder injuries. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Due to a series of unfortunate events, I underwent two knee surgeries 7 years apart and visited countless physical therapists. After my second surgery, I luckily happened to find Select Physical Therapy, and after the first consult, I absolutely knew Dr. Ernst would be the best physical therapist I have ever worked. Her manual work is unparalleled, and she devises creative exercises for each session that truly makes my knee feel stronger and more secure than after the first surgery. Thank you, Dr. Ernst and Select for helping this has been athlete back on her feet!

Experiencia fantástica: My 2 PTs Renee and Christin are the best and most caring physical therapists I’ve ever had!! I was in a bad accident 2 years that changed my life forever. Without the caring and quality PT that Select provides I don’t know where I’d be. All of the PTs at the clinic actually give a damn about their patients compared to other places I’ve been treated at.

Experiencia fantástica: Over more years than I particularly care to count, it has been hard to find a really good physical therapist. To find both a great PT in a well-run organization is a rare find. Bryanna, or Brea as she is known, is both an excellent PT, as well as having the capability to understand all the problems that her patients face in physical therapy. She is caring, compassionate and highly professional. Plus she has a great sense of humor. My observation is that the other physical therapists at the Select Physical Therapy, Ruffin Road location, treat their patients in a similar manner. They are backed by both a highly efficient and effective administrative team and a great team of Rehab Aides. Morgan is an example of a being able to keep all the patients using the right equipment at the right time even when it is really busy. I strongly recommend Select Physical Therapy and their great staff.

I felt like the care I got here was over the top exceptional. They spent so much time with me and also did a routine hands on experience during each session which I feel is so very important to the healing process. They were always professional and the whole atmosphere here is fun and upbeat. My daughter enjoyed coming to her sessions and the results were even better than I hoped. The facilities were all very modern and clean and everyone on staff was knowledgeable and on the same page with her treatment. Great communication with her directly and with me. I highly recommend Christin Ernst for your PT needs... Especially if you are an athlete.

Experiencia fantástica: If you want to recover from a sport related injury this is the place to go. The PT's are very knowledgeable, engaging, and super friendly. I climb quite a bit, and have gone through plenty of injuries and PT over the years. Bryanna was the first PT that immediately identified my issue and catered a program to stabilize and strengthen it. Not only that, but as my sessions came to an end she helped me develop a program that I could do at home in order to continue progress. Also, the PT Aides are on point! Having someone there to show you all the exercises and guide you through them is awesome. All the Aides are motivating, friendly, and helpful :) I hope that I don't get another injury that needs PT, but if I do this is the first place on my list. Cheers to the staff!

As for my therapist, Heather what can I say about her. . She has come as a blessing for me. Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic to go an extra mile to help make me feel comfortable with my pain and I wish she could give me therapy 5 days a week! She definitely deserves 10 stars for her wonderful therapy and for the person she is. This place deserves 5 stars in every way. It is going to be for all my future physical therapies.

Experiencia fantástica: Christin Ernst has been my physical therapist for 5 years now, and I have seen her for multiple sports injuries including back, knee, shoulder, hip, wrist, and hand injuries. She is extremely thorough in her assessment and treatment plans. Sport-specific exercises are incorporated into her series of exercises, which makes physical therapy exciting. Christin is very clear about her goals for her patients and works hard to help patients achieve their goals. She is very direct and clear about the requirements for properly healing and getting stronger to achieve one’s goals. The other therapists as well as the aides contribute to the professional yet fun environment dedicated to healing. Paul, one of the therapists, is a dad who laughs at all of his dad jokes.

Experiencia fantástica: In 2016 I began feeling a mild discomfort in my neck and back. By mid-2017, I was experiencing severe, shooting pain in neck, shoulder, back, and right arm. I saw multiple doctors, had multiple tests done, was prescribed pain killers and muscle relaxers and nothing was helping. I was I so much pain I couldn't sleep. Finally, my doctor ordered me an MRI and I was prescribed physical therapy. I was sceptical because I had already tried physical therapy for this problem but did not see results. My doctor's office suggested Select Physical Therapy off Ruffin road. As soon as my insurance approved the PT I called Select and they were able to fit me in the very same day. I had a consultation with Jodi and within 5 minutes of talking to me she knew exactly what was wrong and was able to pin point exactly the root cause of the pain. That's when I knew this time was going to be different. Over the course of 3 months, Jodi and the team worked with me to strengthen my neck and back and most importantly provided me with the tools and knowledge I need to continue to care for myself at home. I am no longer in chronic pain and I am sleeping through the night (which my boyfriend also appreciates). I am so thankful for the care I received from Jodi and the team I cried at the end of my final visit. Jodi and the whole team was so flexible with my work schedule. They we're kind, courteous, attentive, professional, and fun to be around. I truly looked forward to going to physical therapy. Drew, Rachel, and Jessica we're incredible! I am so thankful to Jodi and the entire team at Select Physical Therapy on Ruffin Road. I will definitely return to them for any and all of my physical therapy need.

She takes lots of time and pays attention to details to ensure rehab progresses the right way. I haven’t personally been treated by the other therapists, but they all seem great, and the atmosphere is fun and supportive.

She pushes me to do my best week by week, and that is why I feel good about my progression.
