Experiencia fantástica: I finally got lasting freedom from chronic pain, thanks to Kevin and the staff at Isis! I was referred by my physician at Scripps Green Integrated Medicine Clinic (also five stars...), so I knew the service would be more thoughtful and thorough than the usual. Kevin applied his deep knowledge and innovative techniques to the root of the problem; it took time and some effort my part but the pain disappeared and it stays away as long as I do the stretches and exercises I learned. It feels amazing to move freely, like a huge weight has been lifted. I've referred friends and family to Isis, and each one has been relieved of their pain and thrilled with the lasting results. I have seen several PTs over the years and all have been good, but the care you get at Isis is outstanding. You will get thoughtful, thorough and effective therapy here, not just half-hearted manipulations and a list of exercises.

Experiencia fantástica: ISIS Physical Therapy has a solid , well educated caring staff. Beth Hammond helped me with my ankle sprain , even though it was over a year old injury. She was able to make if feel much better, and for the first time it feels normal again. The Talus bone in my ankle now glides normally and my ankle doesn't feel swollen any more. I recently had an shoulder operation to repair a torn labrum, and I am starting to go to ISIS again, and Beth is again making my shoulder feel better already. In addition to her massaging and careful attention, Beth gives good tips on how to work out your muscles and what not to do to prevent additional injury. You can really tell that she and the entire Staff , Sara, Amanda and everyone are really into what they do. I would highly recommend them !!!

But the most important thing is that my therapist is highly skilled. Dr Beth Hammond has helped my SIJ back pain more than I ever thought was possible. From my first visit, I experienced relief. This is a painful area that has affected my life for many, many years. She not only has helped to align my pelvis, but she gives me exercises to do at home to bring it back into healthy alignment. She answers my questions with confidence and is a pleasure to have working on my back. I am so happy that my doctor recommended ISIS!

As someone that has been to several (over 20) different physical therapy centers/private treatments in the last decade, this is the best. I wish they took my insurance, but I'll tell ya, it's worth every penny. They got me nearly back to surf-shape; which was supposed to be potentially impossible post-back surgery. Dave is the most recent DPT to treat me, and he's amazing!

Experiencia fantástica: I suffered from a meniscus/MCL tear from a snowboarding accident and received care for 5 months from Jake at ASIS Physical Therapy in Pacific Beach. I've been to a few other PTs prior at other locations in San Diego for prior injuries, and based on those experiences, I can tell you that Jake is one of the best. He clearly has the education and clinical knowledge required for the job, but more importantly he was motivating, empathetic, and took my background and goals into consideration when developing a plan to get me back to doing the things I love. I'm happy to say that I made a full recovery under the guidance of Jake and am forever thankful to him and ASIS for their support during this time. Thank you Jake!

Very thorough and provided good feedback and information. Answered all my questions. Most important, got me going again. Gave me some great exercises to do on my own, at home, so the same problems doesn't recur.

Experiencia fantástica: I had been to ASIS years ago and had such a positive experience that I didn't hesitate to return recently to their new location. The staff is very competent, well-trained and friendly. The initial assessment appointment was extremely thorough and the program recommended multi-faceted. I like that every session is different and includes hands-on therapy. They don't simply send you home with a list of exercises to do on your own like most HMO physical therapy programs.

If you have a nagging injury and are contemplating PT I couldn't recommend the ASIS team and Jake enough.

Experiencia fantástica: A friend of mine recommended me ASIS for my ankle injury and I am pleased with my choice. I worked with Katelyn and a few times with Jake, both very knowledgeable doctors that put me in a great spot to fully recover. I appreciated the flexibility in booking appointments, personalized visits, and the chance to email for any advice. The entire staff is attentive to keeping the space safely clean and shows kind compassion to patients. I mostly worked with the assistant Carolyn, which has been motivating and prompt to show me how to do exercises correctly. Although I do not live close to Pacific Beach I will be returning here for any future physical therapy needs.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to physical therapy at ASIS on and off over a two-year period for various climbing injuries – Jake is absolutely amazing! The difference in my injuries before and after PT was huge. I could only go once a week and Jake was great, progressing me every session and giving me at-home exercises with variations that I could work on. I was also able to email him for advice between sessions, which was awesome. I'm now back to 100% and have Jake to thank! Highly recommend to climbers and non-climbers alike.

The one on one individual, personalized and targeted therapy, that I receive, gets results in an open bright and friendly atmosphere. All the therapists are very professional and considerate of pain levels with movement. The sessions with Jake always leave me pain free and he is helpful in teaching me how to do some of the manipulations myself. I did PT before and after my meniscus surgery (I had previous ACL & meniscus surgery on the same knee 10 years prior). Here are I am, a few months later, back to doing the physical activities that I love - running, hiking, and biking. I feel strong and secure which is such a blessing. I couldn't have done it without Jake and his team! Jake, Lindsay and Nate were incredibly patient, encouraging, and helpful, providing excellent advice, setting me up with a great at home program as well as in person care. Can't recommend them enough!

Experiencia fantástica: Great PT faculty! I chose ASIS due to the close proximity to my home and the fact it had several good Yelp reviews. I certainly was not disappointed! I worked with Dr. Samantha "Sam" Sorce most of the time and Dr. Jake once or twice. They both were awesome, but most of this review will be for Dr. Sam. As a reference, I had a very 'active' mid-20s in the U.S. Navy and spent quite a bit of time in Physical Therapy. But, let me tell you, Dr. Sam was way better that any of my Navy PTs. She guided my recovery through a right full knee replacement (3+ months) and then from a lower back fusion (3+ months). Sam is super personable, very knowledgeable (I asked and she answered a lot different medical and PT related questions), and was a great at her job. Every session started with an examination, some stretching, massage, etc. and then I worked one of the Aides - Matthew, Kira, Ally, and Nate – working on stretching, balance, and strength exercises. Did I say she was super knowledgeable? - every week Sam had new and different exercises that always kept me on my toes – they were both challenging and helpful. If you are looking for a PT and you can get Dr. Sam – I would definitely recommend her! She gets 6/5 stars!

I am very active and set lofty goals for myself. Well, I have actually surpassed those goals. Dr. Molina and the rest of the staff (especially Cassidy) have guided me along the path to full recovery. Experiencia fantástica: Took me a while to find a good place for my knee rehab after tearing my ACL, PCL, Meniscus during a snowboard accident. After visiting a few PT clinics I'm overly thankful to have settled with ASIS. Jason my Physical Therapist is very knowledgeable and has helped me get back on my board as well what i feel like a full recovery. Nothings holding me back now. Had to change my appointments around last minute a few times(which they were very understanding about) and had the pleasure to work with some of the Physical Therapists(Sam, Kevin, Jake) who also made me feel really comfortable on where I was in my recovery process. Lastly want to thank all of the aids who worked with me through all the exercises every class. Thanks guys, I owe you guys more than you can imagine. Would highly recommend this place!

Experiencia fantástica: ​Asis is helping me avoid surgery for a torn rotator cuff. After going to many physical therapists, I found Asis - referred by an orthopedic surgeon and a nurse practitioner. The team, Jason as physical therapist, Sam, and the wonderful assistants are so encouraging, and work well together. Sessions include ½ hour hands-on with the physical therapist, ½ hour with an assistant for exercises, and ½ hour for specialty treatments, including laser, electrostim and more. I had no idea anything like this was possible before Asis. Try them – you’ll be glad! Elizabeth Hamilton 5 STARS!

Experiencia fantástica: If you are looking for the “A” team, you just found it. After reverse total shoulder replacement, a very knowledgeable friend suggested that I visit Asis Physical Therapy in Pacific Beach. Dr. Samantha Sorce and her colleagues Tori and Ali are professional, knowledgeable, caring and frankly fun. My treatment program is conducted in a very relaxing and comfortable environment. Dr. Sorce prescribed a specific, individualized home exercise program that I can follow on my smartphone and log my exercise sessions. Both my range of motion and strength have improved by leaps and bounds. Asis and their team get my highest recommendation.

Experiencia fantástica: I had my ACL reconstructed once, in 2013, and again in 2018, and the PT here the second time around was a million times better. Jason, my PT, is professional, super personable, and actually works hands on with you, at EVERY session. Before, I spoke to my PT twice. Once at my first appointment, and once at my last. And never actually did any workouts with them personally. There were days when Jason would be right there next to me, doing the same exercises. I always felt that my workouts were just the right amount of a challenge, and got ramped up regularly to push me. The PTA's were also always awesome, and very attentative with all of my exercises. They always watched to whole time, and made sure my form was correct. And if they had any questions about an exercise, Jason was never more than a few feet away. I was actually pretty disappointed when my PT was over here, but I highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: Buckle in. This is going to be a long one. It’s just too difficult to summarize how Jason has changed my life. I had been dealing with chronic lower and mid back pain for almost 15 years. Over time, the pain began spreading to my hips and my neck. My pain continued to increase while my ability to participate in activities I truly enjoyed, was on a fast decline. Hiking, sports, weightlifting and running were all things that I had to stop doing. It had gotten to the point that I had given up on the idea of doing them again. I tried multiple chiropractors, PT’s, massage therapists, acupuncturists and doctors over the past decade with only temporary pain relief at best. I would feel better for a day or two as long as I didn’t do anything, but it would always return. It was very disheartening to know that I couldn’t go with my friends and family on a hike, play tennis or even go for a run. It had gotten so bad that simply walking for any extended period of time proved to be difficult. Then I decided to try out ASIS. It was the best decision of my life. I’ll be honest. At first, I wasn’t hopeful. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. When I first met Jason, I gave him an extremely long description of my history. He listened intently, allowing me to unburden myself of years of frustration. Once I finished, we got to work. On day one, Jason was able to alleviate a significant amount of pain. The difference is that with the techniques he used and the guidance he gave me for in home exercise, it wasn’t just short-lived pain relief. In only a few short months, Jason has been able to eliminate 80% of the pain I was experiencing. To this day, it is still hard for me to believe. I know it is still a work in progress but my quality of life has increased exponentially, allowing me to finally do the things I love once again. Things that I had written off. I’m back in the gym on a daily basis. I can hike and play sports again. But most importantly, and for what I am most grateful for, is that I can bend down and pick up my 14 month old son and carry him around without being in pain. Jason is a true professional. He is understanding, patient, knowledgeable and dedicated. The amount of gratitude I have for him and his commitment to me is immeasurable. He has truly changed my life. And for that, I’m forever grateful. If I had to summarize all of this in one sentence…GIVE THE MAN A RAISE!! 

Experiencia fantástica: Had an accident in which I seriously injured my hamstring. Went to our family doctor who prescribed aspirin, moderate stretching exercises and rest. Barely able to walk or stand without extreme pain I went to a sports doctor who suggested physical therapy. Having read very positive prior reviews on ASIS Pacific Beach, I scheduled sessions with Jake Fellows. All summer, I had trained to go on a northwest wilderness hike with friends but this injury would certainly end that adventure. Jake's professional skills and challenging exercise program, enabled my recovering far faster than anyone had imagined! After about 10 therapy sessions, I confidently hiked with friends and did not have any issues. Jake is an exceptional physical therapist and I would certainly recommend his skilled abilities.
