Experiencia fantástica: Nicole is a great PT. She listened to all of my concerns and made sure I understood the rationale for the exercises she was having me perform. She designed a home exercise program for me that was thorough and beneficial to my progress. I look forward to my additional sessions to improve the function of my knee. Nicole knows her stuff and Select Physical Therapy is a modern and well equipped facility.

Experiencia fantástica: I am very pleased with my Physical Therapy sessions with Brent. He is an excellent and very professional Therapist , He has great knowledge of my condition and uses the best modalities and treatment needed. I am a 12 week Total Hip Replacement post op patient and have been taking PT for two weeks, now I have a lot more mobility and less pain, thanks to Brent's intervention in this therapy.

Rachel Hever, from day one, has been extremely helpful, patient with me and a team player too. When it comes to explaining the exercise, she makes sure I know exactly what she is communicating. Her subordinates personalities are just as polite, compassionate and understanding. There is no workout body-odor from clients cause all of the staff pick & clean up after themselves. It’s a clean place, always. There’s soothing music that also helps to relax the mind & body. It’s a pleasure for me to receive such positive care. I’m so grateful.

I’ve had several injuries and have been to clinics in La Jolla, Sorrento Valley, UTC and Del Mar none of them compare to the treatment, kindness, compassion, empathy, training or education that you receive from the staff at Select. When you walk in the door you can’t help but to feel like Norm from “Cheers” everyone greets you with a genuine smile and hello. They really do care about you! Claire is a fantastic therapist she spends so much time with me and all of her clients they all do. They hold conversations with you and get to know you as a person. They want to know how you were physically and mentally prior to your injury and they want to get you back to baseline or even better! I thought for sure all physical therapy places were the same. I was used to going in seeing the therapist for 10-15min then do the few exercises I’d be in and out within 25-30min. At Select Claire is with me for at least 30 minutes! I have a ankle injury and mentioned my previous injury and she works on that also! And the exercises WOW, I’ve always hated them but, they make them interesting and change them adding new ones so you don’t get bored and they work all parts of your body. I’m there for at least a hour and a half! They don’t let you cheat and do the exercises a easy way there’s ALL eyes on you. The assistants are amazing also watching your posture, making sure you have correct form and equipment! ALL of the staff are hands on it’s wonderful! If you want to heal and get stronger at a place that truly cares about you mentally and physically this is the PERFECT place for you! I can not say enough positive words about Select Physical Therapy this I know is the VERY BEST in ALL of San Diego! I’m so glad that I’ve found the perfect physical therapy place! Stephanie Stephens

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a patient at Select twice now (because....two knees) and have been very happy with the process and treatment I've received here. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and genuinely seems to enjoy helping people. One of my favorite things is that they make you feel at home and include you in the friendly banter they engage in. The staff maintains a great attitude and seems to enjoy working together. The service is clinical, therapeutic and beneficial without making you feel that you are experiencing an impersonal medical procedure performed by overworked medical staff. Oh, and Katie loves being asked about her new haircut. Give it a try. Say, "Katie, Josh asked if you recently got your hair cut" or "Katie, did you get your hair cut?"

Experiencia fantástica: Rachel and all the staff at Select have been awesome and have helped me immensely in recovering from my total knee replacement surgery. Rachel has been a wealth of knowledge about what I have been experiencing through all the phases of my recovery which is so important. And everyone here is so helpful and friendly. Experiencia fantástica: What a community! Since day one, I’ve felt so supported and part of the PT family. All of the therapists and staff are super helpful and funny; I never leave without a laugh. Katie is my PT and massages like a boss! She is very engaging with my overall goals and with what I want to work on for the day. Katie is wicked friendly and loves to laugh (sometimes at herself)! Han always greets me with a smile I can see right through her mask! She’s energetic and likes Bruno Mars. Sadie is wicked helpful and always makes me giggle. She loves the food network! Experiencia fantástica: Update 3/25/2021 - I can't say enough about this location. I've been coming here since June 2020 for my Reverse Shoulder Surgery April 2020. I decided to follow Claire to her new location but it just wasn't a fit for me. So in February 2021 I came back and Katie does my Physical Therapy. She has worked wonders for me. Han and Sadie are still working me very hard on the weights! There are days I just dread going but after I'm so glad I didn't given in. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I'm very happy I made the decision to come back to this location. This review is from when I first started coming here - I called 3 different places after my shoulder surgery. After speaking with Jessica and Brie I made the decision to come here. By far the best customer service over the phone. I have been seeing Claire and Brie, Katie once. I can't express how pleased I am with these young ladies. I will be telling everyone to go to this location if they need PT. Everyone makes you feel welcome when you walk through the door :)

It feels like everyone who works there is part of one big family and I felt like a member of the family from my very first visit. Rachel Hever designed an effective training and strengthening routine for me and after four visits my back is already starting to feel better. The physical therapist assistants do an amazing job of keeping everyone on track with their exercise routine before meeting with the PTs. All in all, it's an amazing facility! Thank you!

She listens and adjusts daily to your needs and provides affective work outs and exercises that really feel like they help. Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Katie has been fantastic because right from the first visit my body had a dramatic reduction in pain. She accurately diagnosed the source of my problem and prescribed effective physical actions that absolutely worked to relieve my painful discomfort. Katie is also funny and engaging which makes every visit a treat. She gets my vote for the best physical therapist I have used which unfortunately has been more than a few. Most highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: I showed up using a walker and in severe sciatic nerve pain. Rachel gave me a brief massage followed by stretches and heat. 2 days later I walked in, sans the walker and was able to drive myself there, which I couldn’t do 2 days before. I had no expectation that I could improve that much so quickly. Rachel knew what I needed. I’ve had more than my share of PT and this place no doubt will be where I come for any and all future needs. Within a couple weeks I improved to the point of bailing on my pain Dr’s support and was able to stop using the opioids and nerve blockers. The staff, from Jessica at the front desk, to the PT assistants particularly Sadie and Libby are all top notch people who are always hustling, understand their work and the needs of the patients. Experiencia fantástica: Ive never been to PT before, so I was little skeptical and just nervous in general. But I’m so happy that I went in there with an open mind! My physical therapist Rachel is amazing! Everyone is super nice and very welcoming. When you walk in, they greet you by name and get you started with your exercises. Jess is amazing as well. She makes sure everyone is good to go with their exercises and is close by if you have any questions. Everyone is amazing and appreciate the team so much.

Experiencia fantástica: I previously saw Brie for neck pain, post knee surgery, and now I’m back to see her for my hip. She does a great job of listening to my symptoms and adjusting my program based on how I’m progressing, and takes the time to explain why I’m having certain symptoms and why she is using certain treatment methods and exercises. All the PTs are very knowledgeable, but you can also tell they genuinely care. The front office staff and the aides are wonderful as well, everyone is always so friendly and eager to help. It’s also just a fun environment!

Experiencia fantástica: If you need physical therapy, then Select Physical Therapy is the place to go! Brie has been my Physical Therapist for multiple injuries over several years. She is very knowledgeable, capable and genuinely cares about her patients. Chelsea and Pete assist patients through their exercises and provide encouragement during particularly difficult exercises. Brie, Chelsea and Pete always seem to have fun and positive attitudes while working and it shows in the care they give their patients. I highly recommend Select Physical Therapy!

Experiencia fantástica: I am 80 years old and have severe scoliosis due to life long back problems. My neurosurgeon told me that surgery would not help so he fitted me with a back brace and suggested that I go to Select PT on Mesa College Dr.to keep it from getting worse. Prior to this, I had been to 2 other pt's and was not impressed. Out of desperation I decided to to interview Select because I hated wearing the back brace and this was my last hope to lead a more normal life. I met Claire who showed me around. I was impressed with what I saw so I signed up with her and started going twice a week. After 2 months, I no longer need to wear the brace and am able to sleep through the night without waking up with leg numbness and tingling. I also am able to walk without limping nearly as much as previously and I am almost pain free. Claire gives me specific individual attention with about a 15 minute deep massage and keeps an eye on me when I am doing the exercises she has prescribed. If she sees me standing wrong while exercising, she will call me out from across the room even as she works on another patient. The entire staff is friendly and attentive as well. The PT assistants are very much aware of what I am doing and do not leave me standing around waiting for them to adjust the equipment for my needs. The front desk attendants are very helpful and friendly. I am about to cut back to once a week and soon will be completely done. If I need additional help I will definitely come back to Claire.

Specifically though, Katie Jones is probably the best PT I have ever had. She helped me with calf/ankle, an MCL, and currently my shoulder. The team has really helped me get back to living my best active life after I had multiple surgeries in one year. Bree is super smart and listened to me... all my aches and pains and self diagnosis. She listened to all of it, and helped me start on a path of movement, strength, and health. All the therapists know their stuff! Katie, Claire and Brent all fill in when Bree is unable to see me - it’s tough rehabilitating an injury and they make it fun. There is always laughter and encouragement in the therapy room. Pete and Chelsea assist me with my exercises so I get it right, and the front desk Jessica and Dulce are very helpful navigating the insurance maze. If you have a minor, nagging ache or a major movement or orthopedic issue like I do. They can help. Do yourself a favor and call the team at Select Physical Therapy. Experiencia fantástica: I have been dealing with a back injury from the military for over 5 years now and finally have relief! I have tried physical therapy at different clinics in the past which never worked, but thanks to Select and therapists Claire, Brie, and Brent, they have each helped me feel improving relief with each session! The aides Pete and Sadie are always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in demonstrating and assisting in exercises during my sessions. The therapists are fun and passionate about their job and make each visit a fun experience and the environment makes you want to show up to each appointment!

Experiencia fantástica: This is easily the best PT place I’ve been to. Because their staff is filled with people who enjoy their work, they provide an environment unlike other places. They love to joke around and have a good time, but also get on you and make sure your exercise technique is spot on. They maintain a very clean workspace and are very flexible to changing schedules. They are a knowledgeable yet entertaining staff, which is extremely hard to find in the physical therapy realm. Most people would find physical therapy dreadful, as they struggle to do trivial exercises, but Select PT really makes the experience enjoyable

So friendly and knowledgeable! My physical therapists is Claire H. I absolutely love her! She has helped me so much, it’s unbelievable! I thought I’d have to deal with shoulder & neck pain for the rest of my life. Claire has given me the confidence & skills to manage my pain & feel comfortable with my therapy. Experiencia fantástica: I received a recommendation to receive treatment here at Select Physical Therapy from my surgeon after having a cyst removal from my wrist. Being a college golfer I was worried that this would hinder my ability to play golf again. Luckily for me I took my surgeon’s advice. Claire has been wonderful in treating my wrist and also answering any questions I have. I’ve been able to play pain free golf for the first time in 2 years. Thank you Claire! Peter and Chelsey who aid the treatments were awesome! I also saw Katie and Brent and they were both very professional and knew exactly how to get me better. I would recommend coming here for your physical therapy needs if you want excellent service and a great environment to get better.

Experiencia fantástica: Meridith (AKA Clare) is my physical therapist and has been for over a year now for both my lower back and my shoulder. She has been there every step of the way helping me build my strength back up and improving, along with the aids that help with the exercises. The other physical therapists are amazing and they are a fun team to be around. Never a dull moment. I couldn't have gotten as far as I have without Clare. Trust me if you need physical therapy this is the place to go to.

It is an overwhelmingly positive healing environment where patients are working to get better, while enjoying good conversation with physical therapists and other patients! Both receptionists are helpful and accommodating. Claire was my physical therapist and she helped me fix a strain in my shoulder that kept me from surfing for a little over two months. Even though injuries suck and can be frustrating, I actually left with a smile after every session. I am now back in the water surfing and feeling great! Highly recommend

My PT, Brie, is top notch and provides excellent care. Joe and Jocelyn always do a great job in setting up my exercises correctly and efficiently. Experiencia fantástica: Bryanna and her staff are amazing. They truly gave my 82 year old father his life back. After having a total knee replacement, going to Physical therapy elsewhere and not getting results he was very discouraged. They told him that's as good as it gets and best they could do. He didn't think he would be able to golf again. So after seeing the great results that both of my sons achieved and the awesome environment at Select PT I asked him to give it a shot. Needless to say they did a fantastic job and I'm happy to report he is back on the golf course.

My therapist Brie who I have been working with for going on nine months now is very knowledgeable about each situation that has arisen during my treatment. The front office staff is amazing. The aides have been so helpful with setting up the equipment for me because I would have no idea of how to do it on my own and for showing me the correct way to do the exercises. Experiencia fantástica: Best PT location in Southern California! Former competitive athlete here, and currently a weekend runner with intermittent lumbar sacral issues. The level of knowledge, expertise and commitment at this physical therapy facility is second to none. They take a lot of time figuring out what your goals are, do a full assessment and work relentlessly to get you back in shape and as active on more active than down before your injury. PT Brie is amazing and most recently helped me heal from a LS flare up that had shut me down.... Can’t recommend them highly enough. They will get you back to what you love to do.
