Experiencia fantástica: It is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation for Jayme Cargnoni. Jayme was my physical therapist in December 2023 and January 2024 at PRN. I presented with painful and limited functional mobility of my right shoulder and arm. Jayme devised and directed a program to address the movement impairments and to manage the pain. Because Jayme is affable, I felt comfortable. Because she is very knowledgeable and was so clear in explaining the problem and her plan of action, I felt safe. Because she was strong and worked tirelessly each meeting to stretch and massage my shoulder and arm, I felt trust. Because she listened to my concerns and adjusted to my needs, I felt heard. Because she is thoughtful and optimistic, I felt encouraged. Jayme is a dynamic package of interpersonal skills, knowledge, and dedication to her work. She impressed me with her thoughtfulness, enthusiasm, and positivity. Physical therapy is not easy for the client and the road to recovery can be long and painstaking. But with the proper guidance, work and care that Jayme provided, I regained normal pain free functional mobility of my dominant arm. I am deeply grateful to Jayme for taking such good care of me. If I should need a PT in the future, I would without a doubt entrust my care to Jayme. And I would without hesitation recommend Jayme to anyone. It brings me such great pleasure to provide this, the very highest of recommendations for Jayme Cargnoni.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to PRN Physical Therapy La Jolla by a primary care provider. I had never previously had physical therapy, and was uncertain what to expect. I feel that the care was excellent. I worked mostly with physical therapist Chad Rocha, with the exercises supervised by a hard-working group of caring assistants. The scheduling staff are so helpful and pleasant. It was a very positive experience, and should I have a future need for PT, I would definitely return.

Experiencia fantástica: My physical therapist, Annette did a great job of providing me with therapy on my neck and shoulder, which greatly resolved the issue that I was having. In addition, she provided me with exercises that I could do at home that helped alleviate the pain and discomfort that I was having. Also, the PT assistants, were all very attentive while I was working out after my therapy session, and helpful in making sure that I was doing the exercises properly.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm shocked at the positive results. My previous PT experiences at other locations and with other therapists for other issues left a bad taste with me. I went into this one expecting the same and I warned my therapist Jayme C. about these feelings. After examining my motion and strength she diagnosed the muscle issues I was having. I found it difficult to believe that weak muscles in certain areas of my hips, gluts and back were the cause of my hip pain while sleeping (I'm a side sleeper). But she nailed it. After a number of visits, each one consisting of a 20 minute examination and targeted exercises (under her watchful eye) followed by a regimen of floor and machines workout, my pain started to subside. She also suggested, after seeing my sleeping position, that I add strategically placed pillows. The one that helped the most was under my waist, which helped align my hips and spine. After a few more visits, and working out at home with her suggested plan, the results were amazing. I'm sleeping through the night with little/no discomfort. Never thought I'd say that. I'm again a believer in PT, thanks to the expertise of Jayme, and the wonderful floor tech staff. Thank you all. I recommend PRN and especially Jayme C. The only downside: Parking isn't free at the La Jolla location.

Experiencia fantástica: My therapeutic experience at PRN Physical Therapy has been nothing short of exemplary. After suffering industrial injuries to several body parts as a result of my employment as a Registered Nurse, and after a long and delayed process with workers comp, authorization for physical therapy was finally approved nearly a year and a half after my injuries were incurred. The physical therapy treatment that I finally received from Yousef Ghandor and all the staff at PRN has been a life saver. The improvements that I have made as a result of this treatment are beyond measure. I looked forward to every Physical Therapy session that was approved, knowing that I would be received with professionalism, courtesy, compassion, and encouragement. Yousef Ghandor, and all the staff who are employed at PRN are authentically present in the care that they provide to their patients. They have all been extremely informative through teaching me a therapeutic exercise program, not only that can be engaged in at the PRN facility, but also exercises that I can continue to do at home to relieve my pain and improve my range of motion. There isn’t enough that I can say to express my gratitude for the treatment I received from Yousef Ghandor and all the staff at PRN Physical Therapy. Without question, I would recommend them to anyone in need of Physical Therapy treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: Outstanding! Extremely well organized and hard working staff. Very friendly, wonderful folks. My left shoulder had rotator cuff issues and was quite painful, restricting strength and mobility for daily activities and for CrossFit training and other sports. Chad my physiotherapist was extraordinary. After 6 weeks, two times per week, my shoulder no longer hurts at all, my shoulder and back are far more flexible, and my quality of life has improved quite significantly. I can't say enough about what a positive experience PRN Physical therapy has been. I have been to many physiotherapy facilities over 30 years, and PRN clearly ranks as one of the top two.

Experiencia fantástica: I am not someone who regularly posts reviews online but my recent experience with physical therapy at PNR at Eastgate Mall in San Diego was so exceptional that I thought I should share my experience. I want to call out Chad Rocha, an exceptional therapist, in particular for his expertise, professionalism and dedication. His treatment of me was always focused and never perfunctory. I would leave each session knowing I was making real progress because of his excellent work. All of the staff are also extremely good and I would highly recommend PNR to anyone needing physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m currently seeing the PRN Team at La Jolla/UTC for hip and shoulder pain, for this review I’m going to focus on the hip…I started having issues while running and feeling intense pain in my front left hip. I’d give it time to rest, I’d try running again, and of course, it would start hurting again. This would continue for months until I stopped running altogether - which is tough because I LOVE to run! I switched to new insurance in January 2023, checked who was in my network and PRN popped-up. I chose the La Jolla/UTC location because it was convenient for me to get to from my house in Clairemont, I liked the reviews, and the images of the space looked like they were serious about the “athletic rehabilitation” aspect - important to me because I wouldn’t say I was injured, but I didn’t have the form/stability/strength to run longer than half a mile. Outrageous for a man about to reach 30. Chad was my PT for the hip from Day 1 - and I immediately felt comfortable with his easy-going yet super-knowledgeable demeanor. Turns out, like so many fellas out there, I have weak glutes and other stabilizing muscles around the hip, and over time had shifted my hip out of alignment. Chad and Darren set me up with a slew of take-home exercises and would see me twice a week to stretch, test functional strength, and evaluate my ability to complete certain exercises on-site. I have learned so much from these two, about my own body, but also about the body in general. The support team includes Miguel, Riley, Diego, Clarisse who operate the full floor and keep everyone on track with the exercises. Mireya at the front desk is my BFF. There’s something to be said about an organization that, across the board, staffs individuals that are welcoming, understanding, good listeners, proactive, and supportive. I’ve enjoyed EVERY session that I have had on site, and I look forward to stopping by every time. It will be bittersweet when I no longer need to come back. I’m now set up with a running program, and I am up to running 3 miles, twice a week, NO PAIN. I’m ecstatic! A HUGE Thank you to Chad, Darren, Miguel, Riley, Diego, Clarisse, and Mireya. I’ll have another review coming at some point regarding my Shoulder injury/rehabilitation - still in progress (shoulders are tricky) but I know I am in the best of care with Melissa and the team listed above - THANK YOU!

They address the problem with skill and knowledge. The most current visits was for total knee replacements. The physical therapists that I used were Chad and Brian. Experiencia fantástica: I recently had surgery for a torn Achilles tendon. The recovery period can be 6 - 12 months. I was prepared mentally to go into physical therapy to get back to normal routine as quickly as possible. Chad Rocha was my therapist. Chad taught me how to use crutches prior to surgery. 5 weeks post surgery I returned to PRN to begin my recovery after the cast came off my foot. Chad is very patient and caring. He took the time to explain the coming weeks and how we were going to take the steps to recovery. He has a very positive attitude and encouraged me each and every time. The support staff was just as encouraging and pleasant to work with. Always a smile and a greeting so early in the morning. The facility is clean and organized. I am very thankful to Chad and PRN. I am back on both feet and back to much of my normal routines.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Yousef Ghandour is the best physical therapist that I have ever worked with. He has deep experience and designs his treatments based on the needs of each patient. I started working with him because of severe spasms in my upper traps and the top two vertebrates in my neck were frozen. This condition is the cause of a large percentage of my migraines . With his treatments and the supervised exercises tailored for me I have improved tremendously. I intend to continue working with him for many years. The benefits are Enormous!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming to PRN-Eastgate for the past 4 weeks for physical therapy for a torn calf muscle. Annette Paulson was my “Rock Star” Physical Therapist. Annette is knowledgeable and she genuinely cared about helping me get back to my normal activities. Annette took the time to really get to know me and my injury which demonstrates that her attention to patient care stands above the rest. She created a patient care plan that included a little massage, perfect amount of exercises to strengthen my calf muscle, and ice/muscle stem. In the past, I’ve had very little hands on therapy and I was given an overwhelming amount of exercises. Those past experience made me feel that I wasted my time with Physical Therapy (Not at PRN). I am thrilled to say with Annette, she has provided me with a balanced patient care plan with exercises that will always be in my tool belt to help me avoid any future injuries with my calf muscle. Thank you PRN for having Annette on your staff! And a shout out to your front desk staff and the therapist assistants who also helped me! Everybody was so helpful and friendly!

Experiencia fantástica: Want hands on pt? Here ya go. Mariah is the friendly, helpful mascot of the place. I am so happy with my team. There is a cubby to put your things in the front. There is cold water available. The women's bathroom is a hike to the back of the building. The only drawback is the price of parking, even with the voucher. Careful: Google has some weird directions to find the place. Pro tip: come early and park on Eastgate Mall on the street and walk over.

I had a great physical therapist (Chad) along with the team members who helped with the exercises and stimulation machines. Experiencia fantástica: Jayme is an amazing physical therapist and the entire staff at PRN are great. I injured my knee a couple months before a big surf trip. After X-rays and an MRI my orthopedist could not find anything wrong but recommended I receive physical therapy. Jayme assessed me on the first day determined lack of flexibility in my ankles and hips was causing my knee to work harder than it needed to. I saw Jayme twice a week leading up to my trip and she also gave me at home exercises to do daily. Every visit she worked on flexibility and strength training with me and continued to check in on progress. My knee is now feeling as good as ever and I feel 100% confident in my knee going into my trip.

A big thanks to Jayme Cargnoni, the highly skilled physical therapist who treated my knee (torn meniscus) and hip (bone bruise and arthritis). I cannot say enough about how knowledgeable and skilled Jayme is. I felt better after every session. In addition to the manipulation and exercises she provided, Jayme taught me how to move better and get stronger. The aides—Miguel, Clarisse and Riley—were always helpful and courteous. Experiencia fantástica: PRN La Jolla's staff is exemplary. Mariah helped me to quickly secure an assessment and treatment appointments. Chad completed a comprehensive assessment that identified the source of my lower back/glute pain - facet arthrosis of L5/S1 and some weakness/imbalance in my left hip. He and Daren (another PT) provided hands-on care stretch and retrain my muscles. They also created a detailed program of exercises to complete both at the facility and at home. This included helpful explanations and videos for each exercise. In four short weeks, my back pain is almost completely gone! I am so grateful to Chad, Daren, Mariah, and the PT assistants Riley, Miguel, and Diego who guided me through the process. It was a pleasure to spend time with good people in a fun atmosphere. I give PRN my highest recommendation!

I visited my therapist, Kayla 13 times this year and 10 times last year. She has been so helpful and work very hard in relieving my back pain. She is very knowledgeable and really takes time and care to analyze what’s going on and find the best exercises to help me get back on track. Besides Kayla, I also had good experiences with Melissa and Nic since I moved to San Diego in 2019. In facts all therapists and assistants are very professional and responsive. You can count on them and I strongly recommend their physical therapy.

They asked me what my goals were, and worked hard to get me to where I wanted to be. They treated me like an athlete, pushed me beyond my limits, and introduced new work outs each week. Experiencia fantástica: I came to PRN and couldn’t do anything and had excruciating pain in November of 2022. Nic my PT therapist developed a specific plan for me that helped improve my muscles and strength. The PRN staff worked with me patiently and were very encouraging. I had 2 goals. One was to hike to the Delicate Arch at Arches National Park and to ski again. I have done both. I couldn’t have done these goals without PRN. The professionalism, care, patience, encouragement, and help from every therapist and staff helped me to go from not being able to do anything to meeting 2 very personal goals. I still have pain, but PRN has taught me how to control my muscles to help alleviate the bulk of my pain. I never believed PT would work to improve my quality of life, but PRN has made me a believer. Experiencia fantástica: I had a referral from my DO doctor. Very fortunate to have Chad Rocha be my primary physical therapist. He is excellent in having an overall plan, personally carrying out the key physical therapy for me with a couple of opening exercises, and then a plan on the laptop for Miguel and others to coach me on the exercises I need to do. Chad had a wonderful touch that got my pain dissipated quite quickly and then followed with illustrated exercises online to do at home that changed as the course progressed. Miguel was very patient in explaining the purpose of each exercise and in making sure that I had the suitable weights and did the exercises correctly. At the end of the visit, there was a relaxing heat treatment. The course I completed has been very fruitful in the therapy.

He is extremely knowledgeable about his profession and more importantly how to create an individual program for each person. He is patient in explaining what the program is, how it will help you and making sure you do the exercises correctly for the maximum outcome. Experiencia fantástica: PRN La Jolla has tremendously improved my quality of life! I was fresh off artificial disc replacement surgery in my cervical spine and felt so fragile. Although the surgery went very smoothly, I was concerned about my mobility and to be quite frank wasn't very trusting with anyone handling my neck given the nature of my injury. Nick & Yousef specifically helped address my concerns over the course of 8 months, listened without judgement, and provided on the spot recommendations and solutions so I could start to regain my strength and independence. There aren't enough words to describe how generally caring the staff are at this location, attentive, and how everyone works in sync together to provide the best possible personalized treatment plan for each patient! Chad is an amazing physio and an all-round fantastic person who is surrounded by a great team of physios, PT technicians and administration staff. I have made great progress and really enjoyed my physio sessions. The location is central and easy to access, especially from the 805.

Experiencia fantástica: PRN Physical Therapy LaJolla/UTC is an amazing physical therapy center headed by Yousef Issa Ghandour PT, DPT, MOMT, FAAOMPT. He specializes in miracles which is exactly what I needed when I met him. I had given up hope of ever walking again. He immediately began using manual orthopedic therapy and soft tissue mobilization on me to access, identify, and target the way I kept my body clenched to deal with the excruciating back, hip and leg pain. I was recovering from my third spinal surgery and dealing with nerve pain running down my left leg around the knee and into my foot ( drop foot) making it a struggle to try and walk. Yousef specializes in post surgery rehabilitation, pain management, and most importantly strength training. He has helped me gain the confidence I needed to not give up - his evidence based approach to recovery, his knowledgeable staff and philosophy far exceeds any other normal physical therapy clinic I have experienced in the past. Yousef has taught me how to strengthen my muscles in order to gain control inside my body to support the weakened areas as I move through the healing process. I am walking with my head held high, what a miracle. I no longer rely on any pain medication. I strongly suggest if you are looking for a serious physical therapy experience PRN physical rehabilitation network is in a class by themselves. THIS is where you will find professional and knowledgeable expertise is surgical recovery. I feel VERY fortunate to have found them, everyone here is so positive and on point in the way they work together as a courteous, attentive, and conscientious team, they are seamless as they move through your visits making them enjoyable and leaving you feeling a sense of accomplishment.
