The satff is excellent, the front desk, PTA & PT they've been so professional, patient, communicative, helpfull and always taking care of me explainning every single question and detail on my recovery. I'm well pleased and thankful with every single member of this location.

I came into RET, post surgery, with a newly repaired hip labrum and torn glute medius, and slow but sure it’s all getting stronger. And not only the physical is being addressed but the mental part as well. As we all know, bouncing back from an injury can bring on lots of feelings of uncertainty for one’s future. The staff are really great at remaining positive and helping you through that as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a great, all-around experience:)

Tawny & Kelly and support staff have been lifesavers with my lymphedema condition and I always feel so much better after my PT sessions. Gris and the front office are very helpful and are patient with my questions or concerns. Whenever I have had an issue with my condition, Tawny and the whole staff help me overcome them and I am very thankful that they are my PT providers. I would give them 10 stars if allowed!! Experiencia fantástica: Both my wife and I have been patients of NW Physical Therapy for over 10 years. I have received therapy for hand repair surgery and shoulder joint replacement surgery, and I have found their staff to be friendly, competent, professional, and helpful. My wife has had rehab for neck and lower back surgery, so between the two of us we’ve dealt with nearly the whole body. Over that time, we have seen at least 6 different therapists, and they have all been both kind and helpful. The orthopedic surgeon who replaced my shoulder joint said that I had made more progress at 3 months post surgery than most of his patients make in a year. Much of the credit goes to NW Physical Therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: RET Physical Therapy in Mount Vernon has offered me consistent, compassionate and effective treatment for a complex rehabilitation condition. My treatment plan included weekly appointments and has spanned over 18 months of treatment. Every staff member I’ve worked with helps me feel safe, seen and heard. Each visit I am greeted by a cheerful hello and the care I receive continues throughout my appointment. My treatment, while sensitive in nature, has involved reaching various milestones before the next part could be started. In each stage I’ve experienced appropriate exercises and have always been treated with respect. It is evident to me that this clinic is well run. The staff coordinates and cooperates with each other. There is excellent camaraderie and the clinic is clean and organized with safe equipment. I have observed excellent rapport between providers and patients. I’m grateful for the care I’ve received. I’m happy to report that my condition has significantly improved and I give full credit to the care I’ve received here. I highly recommend RET Physical Therapy in Mount Vernon.

Experiencia fantástica: Modern laparoscopic hysterectomy with salpingo-oophorectomy surgery is full of poor procedural practices including not providing proper draining of the abdominal pelvic area for healing. The assumption is the body/lymph system will just absorb the fluid produced from the cauterized areas, but there is often so much drainage up to 2-3 weeks post-surgery that the lymph system is simply overwhelmed. Once the groin and lower lymph nodules/system is filled-up with the post hysterectomy fluids, the fluid drains via gravity into hip and knee joints causing extreme pressure and pain. There can be so much pain caused by fluid swelling post surgery that the knee and hips feel as if there is something suddenly quite acutely structurally wrong. If it weren’t for my own resilience in trying to find the cause and relieve the extreme pressure in my knee and hips post surgery this could have erroneously resulted in another surgery. I talked about this pain with my gynecological surgeon (she had no answer, no suggestions), I went to a few physical therapists who could find nothing wrong with my knee/hip bones, joints, ligaments, I went to an orthopedic surgeon to see if something physical happened during surgery to affect my knee and hip, and I even thought my swelling could be caused from a blood clot so I had various tests (doppler ultrasound, blood work). No reasons for the pain and swelling could be found. After weeks and weeks of not giving up, one of my local clinic’s physical therapists finally considered that the pain and swelling were being caused from fluid/lymph fluid build-up/swelling. This local clinic did not have the expertise in lymph drainage and recommended that I seeTawny Bridge-Pope at Northwest Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation Center Inc. Tawny is a highly specialized lymph drainage specialist. She moved lymph fluid out of my knee and hip and into other lymph areas within my body. After one visit there was noticeable reduction in swelling and pain. By my final visit I no longer had knee or hip pain or swelling. I believe the majority of Tawny’s patients are post surgery cancer patients who have their local lymph nodes surgically removed. She has a gentle touch and deeply understands anatomy and kinesiology of the human body. Thanks Tawny for your talented hands and brilliant approach to helping me heal. I cannot thank Northwest Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation Center enough for hiring such an intelligent, highly skilled person.

I saw him in 2019 for a hip issue which HE FIXED. When I was told to do P.T. for another issue, I requested Patrick again. That man is AMAZING, SMART, VERY WELL-VERSED IN THE ANATOMICAL STRUCTURE OF THE BODY. I CAN'T RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT N.W.P.T.
