Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience with Select PT, for my ACL/MCL post surgery recovery. Julya Goldberg was my PT. She helped me regain my confidence back. Julya performs individual oriented recommendations without going for generic approach. She was always listening to my needs and provided the right advice throughout which helped me recover fast. I never took weights previously, and now due to the impact from this therapy i started taking weights :). Overall great improvement, and i started biking, swimming and slow jogging in less than 5 months. Very satisfied, and will recommend to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Edge Physical Therapy is by far the best place I have ever been for PT. I have had physical therapy a few different times for various injuries. I have never before experienced the level of individual care that Edge has provided. I will never go anywhere else. When I first visited Edge a few years ago for a back/shoulder condition, my therapist, Anne, took the time to critically evaluate my condition, ask what my end goals were, and then worked with me to achieve those goals. She didn’t just hand me a list of exercises for shoulder injuries and send me on my way. She dug deep to find the root cause of my problem and came up with creative ways of addressing it. I am currently working with Anne to make sure that I can successfully complete an endurance event later this year without sustaining an injury. I love that the therapists as Edge believe in physical therapy as a tool to maintain wellness, not only as a means of recovering from an existing condition. They are fabulous health care providers.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Dr. Anne Kertson at Edge PT. She is professional, thorough, friendly and collaborative. She developed a logical, well-thought-out plan for therapy for my injury, and explained each step's rationale, including what, why, and how. Adjustments to the plan were necessary and rational. Her associate DPT's, Charley and Nicole, have both provided me with excellent care also. I've felt confident and in good hands with any of them. The staff is excellent, warm and proficient, and the facility is well equipped and well maintained. Very impressed, well worth the 25-minute drive, or more!

Experiencia fantástica: My story begins with my wife's excellent (5+) months of care, with Dr. Nicole Grant, after extensive surgery for a dual torn rotator cuff in her right shoulder. She didn't know quite what to expect after a disappointing experience at another PT facility following a knee surgery. She enjoyed every minute with Nicole for day one. When my rt shoulder began showing the same symptoms as my wife's, I went to our PCP with my "engineering" mind saying, "Let's cut to the chase, nip this in the bud & hopefully et on with a much shorter recovery". I at least wanted to get imaging so we would know exactly what we were dealing with. Nope!! You have to follow "insurance protocol". So, I was referred to Edge Physical Therapy & Rehab for 4 weeks, twice a week. Enter, Dr. Shilpa Patel and I began my excellent journey with whom I would soon learn is a Great teacher and Great Doctor of PT By the end of the 4th week, I was listing the improvements I was feeling. We extended another 4 weeks, once a week and each week I added to the list of improvements which were coming more quickly. Dr. Patel had lined out the program for me to continue on my own with increasing weights and repetitions of exercises. I could only thank her for her expertise in teaching all of this, for her patience, with the engineering mind and for changing my skepticism into a new perspective of targeted, systematic exercise. I can now say with first hand experience what I said my first day, based on my wife's excellent experience, that Dr Patel and the Staff at Edge are 5 star! Anyone being referred for PT needs to be at Edge. If your PCP doesn't refer to Edge, get one that does, or, contact Edge yourself to see if they work with your insurance and could workout a program with you. You're going to want and need the staff or qualified practioners at Edge Physical Therapy & Rehab. You won't regret it!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My journey with Edge physical therapy started about 6 weeks after my complex rotator cuff repair in the summer of 2021. I had previously had a bad experience with another local PT office trying to fix issues I had had since childhood but not what I was there for, so I entered Edge with some reservations. Enter Danika, the receptionist, she was my first encounter. She was so easy to communicate with and worked out all the insurance issues prior to my first appointment. I was blessed to have Dr. Nicole Grant work with me for 5 1/2 to 6 months. She listened to my concerns, took starting measurements and calmed my fears. We hit it off the first day!!! She is patient, encouraging and easy to talk to. I actually looked forward to going to my PT appointments. Nicole's knowledge gave me confidence to push forward and meet my goals ahead of schedule. Edge PT doctors and staff are exceptional. I was so pleased I referred my husband to them and would recommend them to anyone I come in contact with!!!! I WILL use them again, if the need comes up! Thanks to all of you on staff at Edge PT for making my journey to full recovery easy.

Experiencia fantástica: 2020 was a difficult year for most. I had the added challenge of a complete hamstring rupture last Jan requiring surgery and months of crutches and braces. Shilpa Patel was a godsend. She was able to attend my first post op visit with my surgeon and get me on a road to recovery. We started our PT sessions prior to Covid closures and then had to transition to virtual sessions for many months. Shilpa and the Edge team were able to pivot so quickly without skipping a beat. Their dedication and care of their patients and their safety are best in class for sure. I am stronger than ever a year later and owe it all to Shilpa and her support and coaching. I highly recommend Shilpa and the Edge team for any PT needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Edge Physical Therapy and Rehab is an excellent facility with great therapists and staff. I had the pleasure working with Shilpa Patel for several months to rehabilitate my abdominal wall after a complicated hernia surgery required for severe postpartum diastasis rectus. My situation was unusual but Shilpa educated me on my condition and was essential in my recovery. At the onset of my physical therapy sessions, she even contacted my surgeon to discuss the surgery and recovery. I started seeing Shilpa 6 weeks post-op when my initial healing from the surgery was set. At first, I was in a lot of pain and unable to do a lot of daily functional movements. Shilpa set up customized office visits for me with a targeted home plan. She worked with me for ~4 months and by the end I was back to complete functionality and my pain was completely gone. In the month or so since “graduating” physical therapy I have seen continued improvement in strength and functionality. Shilpa is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She was essential in my recovery and continued success. The condition I was in prior to my surgery was very poor – I can say without a doubt that the work that I put in with Shilpa is what made my recovery so successful. She armed me with knowledge and a plan custom fit for my body’s needs. When I first started seeing her I couldn’t even pick up my 2 year old daughter, now I’m lifting weights, doing strenuous cardio and I’m even running again. I can honestly say, I’m the strongest I’ve been in years. I am so grateful to Shilpa and the Edge PT team.

Experiencia fantástica: I used Edge PT for rehab after my second knee replacement. Anne works on the principle that rehab is a marathon not a sprint and tailored my program to me, not to a theoretical "should do this by then", which was the approach for the practice I used for my less-than-successful first knee rehab. Anne was referred to me by two friends (knees and hips) and I am so glad I followed their recommendation.

Experiencia fantástica: Howdy ! Its a long road trying to keep up mobility of my well used body and this directly affects my well being. I came here to get new orthotics for it was painful to walk. Little did I realize that I was habitually compensating(over working) other areas and all this was a downward spiral. Whether you're young and or older, there is a reason for exercise/fitness and a good reason to see a good physical therapist when there is a need. I recommend you use Edge PT but above all take care of yourself and know when its time for help. Thank You Anne. For your concern and your smile. Things I noticed that were extremely helpful and productive were, Taking time to educate me so that I understand the inner works Keeping a progress chart. This was not only motivating, it was also good to see how each session or exercise affected the overall progression Suggesting exercises, and some times alternatives. This was important to me since I travel a lot and needed various ways to continue my exercises Showing personal interest in my progress going above and beyond of the scope of PT As a result, I had positive result in a quick time frame. Thanks to Marilee for all the answers to the million questions I had without making me feel stupid. I am discharged now with near perfect mobility for my shoulder. Even though most of my sessions were with Merrilee, I want to also thank Shilpa and Jessica, Leann and Erin at the front desk. These ladies definitely know what they do and they are good at it.
