Experiencia fantástica: I have attended a majority of the sessions for my daughter with Dr. Kenneth Kunisaki, PT, who started out with an informal history of how the injury occurred. Track and Field high school athletics. He tailored the recovery program for her not following some generic recovery program. Results, she is feeling much stronger though the tendon has not fully recovered, she is much stronger and more confident in her abilities. Kudos to Dr. Kenneth and the Select Physical Therapy office. All of the PT Docs are wonderful and work well with each other to assist the patients in their office.

Experiencia fantástica: Joe Love at Select Physical Therapy supported me to get the joy in my life back & I am so very grateful. I shattered the top of my tibia bone & tore my meniscus in a ski accident April of 2023 & did not get proper treatment and care for months due to insurance issues. When I changed insurance in August to a more ethical one, I went to Joe with the old injury that also included nerve damage (that I wasn't aware of till working with Joe. When I started in September, I had difficulty walking and engaging in regular physical activity and had chronic shooting pain at all times. My body was hurting, but also my spirit and heart was too. Joe was kind, educated me on what was happening in my knee, made me feel comfortable and motivated that I could get better. Through working with Joe, I no longer have chronic pain and feel like I've been given my life back. I still have a journey ahead to be fully healed, but I can walk again and go up stairs as well. I feel very fortunate that I was assigned Joe as my physical therapist. He is an excellent PT & has changed my life for the better. I look forward to continuing on my healing journey and have renewed hope in my future.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Select Physical Therapy because I have lower back problems that include Herniated Disc, Deteriorating Disc, as well as Spinal Stenosis. Together with an exercise plan and some deep Muscle Messaging, Jennifer and her Team have been able to minimize my Pain Level. I pray that with this Therapy, I can stay away from Surgery and Continue to feel Better.

Not only was she super encouraging and sympathetic to my concerns, but she is also incredibly knowledgable and helped me to better understand my injury and how to work to heal. She is a great teacher and would respond to my questions in a timely fashion during the time I was not with her. I would be happy to work with Olivia again and would recommend her to my friends.

Experiencia fantástica: Marcus is such an awesome PT, and everyone there is so friendly! I started working with him just a month ago and from Day 1 he was so knowledgeable in my assessment (also he had shoulder pain himself). The sessions last about an hour, 20 minutes with him to work and massage out the painful areas then it's about another 30-40 mins of exercises which an aide will guide you through. They're also really helpful and ensure you are engaging and using the correct muscles during each exercise. They also provide you with printouts or digital exercise plans to ensure you are doing the assigned exercises correclty at home. Marcus increased the difficulty level of my exercises quite quickly, but because of it, I feel almost back to 100% in just one month. I was also able to ask tons of questions, and he's super helpful and friendly! If I ever need to go to PT again, this is the place I'd go to!

My primary therapist, Olivia is caring and works with me to set "range of motion" and "strength" goals that are, excuse the pun, a stretch but achievable. The facility is clean and never overcrowded. There are numerous and a wide variety of exercise equipment that helps with rehabilitation for every physical therapy issue. Experiencia fantástica: It's now nine weeks post shoulder surgery at Kerlan-Jobe and approximately eight weeks in rehab/physical therapy. Chose "Select Physical Therapy" because convenient, located in same offices as Kerlan-Jobe in Pasadena. From my experience, I have no complaints with Select Physical Therapy. Scheduled appointments always begin on time, staff personnel are all young but conduct themselves professionally, attentive to each patient and very skilled. My physical therapist, Ken Kunisaki, has been excellent in all aspects of my rehab care. He has outstanding academic qualifications, is very knowledgeable, personable and appears genuinely committed to helping his patients reach the most complete recovery possible. Select Physical Therapy has been a good choice based on my experience.

These days, it seems Drs book 15min sessions with you and you feel more like a number than a human being. I can honestly say that Pasadena Select Physical Therapy - Marcus in particular - eliminated my skepticism with his knowledge and ability to communicate on day one. He helped me to understand more about my injury, than my GP and a prior out-of-network PT provider had over several weeks. The healing atmosphere of SPT is clearly a reflection of the therapists expertise and their dedication to help clients heal.

Experiencia fantástica: My physical therapist is AWESOME! Chloe is very professional and was concerned from the moment we met. I was in a lot of pain but she did her magic and eased that pain. Funny thing is that she did say after she introduced a couple of new exercises that I would be in pain the next day and she was right but she also told me what to do, without medication, to ease the pain. I am very pleased with the facility as well. They take good COVID precautions and that makes us all feel better I think. I give my therapist, Chloe, an A+ and the rest of the staff kudos for their efforts to keep us apart and safe. I am sure my healing is in good hands and I can recommend Select Physical Therapy, and especially Chloe, without any hesitation.

The first was my left shoulder, the second was my right knee and now my right shoulder. I have been to another PT for this right shoulder pain because that was the PT my physician recommended me to go but here I am with SELECT PT. They are the BEST!! Very caring staffs.

Experiencia fantástica: If you're in need of PT, I suggest checking out Select Physical Therapy (SPT), in Pasadena, CA. They have a wide range of equipment available to address a multitude of injuries and challenges. I'm currently in Week 4 of an 8-week recovery program, just having undergone surgery for a torn meniscus in late August. The first two weeks of my therapy were dedicated to increasing my range of motion. The past two weeks have included exercises devoted to rebuilding my strength. I'm looking forward to the next phase of my treatment, because I am beginning to see substantial healing. The staff at SPT complement one another very nicely, and their ensemble approach to therapy was evident the moment I walked in the door. I have the good fortune of having Aaron Li as my therapist. He is a licensed physical therapist, and has his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of California, Irvine, with 7 years of "hands-on" experience in the field. I have complete confidence in his insight, skills, and the execution of the recovery program my surgeon has prescribed. He pushes me when I get a little lazy, and dials things back, if he thinks I'm overextending. He has two qualities that I value highly: encouragement and professionalism. And his sense of humor helps to perfectly blend those two qualities, making every session one I look forward to. As you can imagine, a hearty sense of humor goes a long way in creating a sense of levity - particularly in the medical field, since the human spirit needs a smile every now and then, to aid in the recovery process. I have found each and every team member of SPT to be friendly and knowledgeable... including Parker, Brian, Brit, Gerry, Mac, Paul, and Edgar. Of course, with covid still afoot, things are a little different nowadays. Hands must be washed, masks must be worn, and temperature is taken before being allowed to enter the room and begin therapy. ALL equipment is sanitized after every single use; even if incidental contact is made. Long story short...don't take my word - check out Select Physical Therapy for yourself. 92 Google reviewers, and a 5.0 rating, must mean they're doing something right. She does not push past the point of a high level of pain. The home exercises are easy to understand and do not require expensive equipment.

Mt therapist Megan was amazing! She did treatments and devised the exercise routine that was easy to follow and keep up with at home. She gave me tension bands and drew diagrams of exercises -that was super helpful and allowed me to keep up with routine. After few appointment with Megan my pain is much less and range of motion and flexibility improved greatly! Thank you Megan and everyone at the clinic! I would definitely recommend this clinic for people who are looking for physio.

The therapists and staff are knowledgeable, professional, and very pleasant to deal with. The building is modern and there is parking for a fee, although there always seems to be free street parking available.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been receiving PT for post op rotator cuff tendon repair for a few weeks already and my therapist, Mac, seems genuinely invested in my success! I have difficulty with range of motion that needs attention not only during PT but also require that I do the right exercises at home; the staff at Select PT has helped me with this so I feel that I am on the right track to recovery. I always feel supported here and feel that I can trust the staff's expertise, which is really important when choosing a PT group.

She is the best hand therapist I’ve ever had. I started receiving her treatment a month after my hand surgery for the purpose of regaining the strength. I’ve been wearing the splint for a month and my fingers became stiff, swallen and hurting when I bent them. She listened to me very carefully and has given me all sorts of treatments. A month passed now and I really appreciate that my hand definitely regained the strength and I am able to bend my fingers without hurting. She has long time experience of over 30 years and she is not only knowledgeable but also very caring, encouraging. She makes you feel like she is your mother, best friend or your favorite teacher. I wish I can continue to seeing her but since I am recovering very well I have to graduate from her class soon.
