I finally decided to seek a physical therapist and landed on Ames Performance Physical Therapy after reading that Megan specializes in endurance athletes on the webpage. She not only was able to accurately assess my injuries at the moment, but she also was able to tell where I had previously been injured as well; it was incredible! I went in with hip, knee and foot pains and in the months I was working with her and following her advice and exercise routines, I was able to get back to running completely pain free! Experiencia fantástica: I came to Megan with a very high amount of back pain at the start of the summer. I had a few other issues as well. She was thorough in her evaluation and helped me understand what I needed to do to help with my pain. She addressed issues with my hip flexor/quads as well. Megan is professional and makes sure I understand how small adjustments will make a big difference. She gave me the tools and knowledge I need to succeed as an athlete.

Megan went above and beyond to help me get back to my full potential. She provided me with ample amounts of stretches, exercises, and activities to both reduce my pain and strengthen my foot back to normal. Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about Megan. When I started working with her I had such severe back pain I was unable to do normal daily activities. I can happily say that I am now pain free 90% of the time and have the tools to combat the occasional flare up. Megan focused on reestablishing my foot/core connection which made a huge difference. She went above and beyond researching and trying new things as my pain migrated during the healing process. I’ve had lower back problems for years and Gunner uses dry-needling and cupping during my visits and they are incredible at alleviating pain and tightness. Not only does he treat while in sessions, he gives suggestions for workouts/stretches at home which will continue to alleviate pain and work towards fixing the problem. He is very knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone.

Experiencia positiva: Gunnar took the time to talk to me and ask questions about my injury, my lifestyle and thoughtfully explained how I (most likely) got to the pain level I was when I first came in, how we wanted to approach fixing it, and was very encouraging and non-judgmental in helping me get on the road to recovery. Experiencia fantástica: I've worked with both Gunnar and Megan at Home Team. Both of them have gone above and beyond to help me as I work towards my fitness goals. They've take time out of their days to do things like re-taping my feet without me having to schedule a session with one of them. Gunnar has performed a technique called dry-needling on me. It is the single most effective treatment I've ever had for a tight muscle. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!
