Experiencia fantástica: Crest View offers a phenomenal, reality-based treatment program that caters to a diverse population of clients. The majority of staff are in recovery and approach their treatment methodology from a place of compassion. I attended this program for six weeks and can definitively say that they have given me every conceivable tool to ensure that I can transition into active long-term recovery. During inpatient treatment here, I shopped for my own food, prepared my own meals, and was given the latitude to attend the gym or the park in the afternoons. During the weekend, I participated in activities such as bowling, nature hikes, t-shirt tie dying, movies, and trips to the local bookstore. The amount of money they provide for weekly food is extremely generous. I was able to maintain a very healthy diet and generally had money left over. Clients are allowed to smoke or vape and are provided frequent breaks to get fresh air, use the rest room, or socialize and smoke. The living quarters are incredibly nice and we are expected to clean, ensuring that we have a nice, home-like environment. There are trained Behavioral Technicians with clients 24/7 to ensure that a safe and recovery-focused environment is provided. These Techs are often also in recovery and provided me with significant experience, strength, and hope as I encountered challenges during my recovery. While we learn the tools we need for recovery in the clinical setting, we practice using them in the residential setting with other clients and the Crest View Staff. The Behavioral Techs are no-nonsense professionals who generally supervise with two-person teams and work with groups of up to 12 clients, taking us to the center for class, to the gym or park in the afternoon, and to meetings in the evening. We attended AA or NA meetings in the community, which allowed me to build a sober network even in inpatient treatment. As a client, I was allowed one 20-minute phone call per day (after a 7-day blackout), which gave me time to call my sponsor and my family and work my recovery program/keep them appraised of my treatment. Finally, the clinical setting is also very well-rounded and was an instrumental part of my recovery. We had classes that ranged from the physiology of addiction (so we could understand why addiction is a disease and what was occurring in our brains when we use) to relapse prevention planning. Other classes included: the impact of addiction on women (gender group), trauma and addiction, how to process emotions, using cognitive behavioral techniques to address addictive behavior, mindfulness techniques to address craving, and 12-Step oriented yoga classes (to name a few). My treatment plan was highly tailored. I met my assigned counselor individually at least once a week and spent three hours with her in a small group setting (3-5 people). She was able to adapt my treatment program to my specific needs, strengths, and weaknesses. I cannot emphasize enough that not only was my counselor highly experienced and competent, but both of the other clinicians are world class addiction specialists as well. I would have been happy being assigned to any of them. Upon preparing to leave, my case manager did extensive research into outpatient programs local to my home that also suited my specific schedule and recovery needs. She provided the smoothest possible transition to ensure that there was no lapse in treatment as I transitioned out of the program. Early on, she also personally managed my short-term disability claim and worked with my insurance to ensure coverage was clear and managing my claim was a relatively streamlined process. Overall, I'm so thankful for this program. It absolutely saved my life, my career, and my marriage. I would recommend this to anyone searching for a program that is tailored to address the whole person (physical, mental, social, spiritual) and proven to provide the tools needed for a fulfilling and effective long-term recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: Crestview Recovery Center is an excellent program that I would reccomend to anyone who is in need of treatment for alcohol/drug abuse and is ready to make changes in their life. it is a reality based program which was really wonderful for me. You do your own grocery shopping, cleaning and cooking. You also go to outside meetings every night aside from all the groups and activities you have during the day. The love and support that I received from the staff and the other clients has been overwhelming and amazing. I can't say enough good things about the program.

Crestview taught me a lot about myself I appreciate crestview staff for all they done for me and continue to through the iop program. Experiencia fantástica: I stayed at crest view recovery center for roughly 51 days This place helped me tremendously. The campus and apartments were very spacious and clean. The care is very individualized and productive. Administration actively interacts with clients and receives feedback on areas to improve. I felt heard and respected by staff. I wouldn’t say it was all 12 step base. They also get you familiarized with other programs like “SMART” recovery. Men’s therapy group first thing in the morning was probably my favorite.. They offer so many different opportunities to better your recovery and yourself overall. I am considering working there in the near future. If you’re on the fence.. give Crest View Recovery Center a try!

Experiencia fantástica: i recovered here and it was very beneficial. the apartments are clean and the groups are helpful. the staff assists as much as they can. when you stay there for a few weeks you can begin going on field trips with everyone. big shout out to candice for being the bomb.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time going to rehab. I was at CrestView for 50 days. The facilities and apartments were very nice. I was really surprised how nice they were when I arrived. The treatment plan and therapy I received were top notch and potentially saved my life. Recovery is a gift and hard work. If you’re willing to do whatever is necessary to gain control of your life, this is the place for you. ‘Many of us have said; Take my will and my life, guide me in my recovery, show me how to live.’

Experiencia fantástica: I went out of state for rehab. They had no aftercare. After transfer to local facility, I was fortunate enough to get hooked up with Crest View's IOP. It has been a life-line, transitioning from a recovery facility to home. I am sober 9 & 1/2 months, longest in 15 years. I give credit to Crest View for providing me tools for success. IOP therapist, Tommy Lee is insightful. I have been amazed how he listens to group during readings & check in. He identifies current needs and spontaneouly leads our session accordingly. He may bring in relapse prevention packet, a clip on spirituality, a TED talk, perhaps a movie about mindfulness or deeper group discussion, depending on need. I've learned so much more about addiction, recovery, and life in general. He is an asset to Crest View and his clients.

Experiencia fantástica: Arrived at Crest View Broken and Confused. I was treated with Respect and Dignity. Processed in and went to the house. I was there when everything was moved to the New Apartments. Stayed some extra time and "graduated", but didn't really have my heart in it. Ended up Back at Crest View. I "embraced" it and found myself in complete comfort that the world was "no longer after me". The staff the therapists and the Owners were amazing. Stayed longer than the norm. again and moved on to sober livin. Long story short, I am doing well and working through my Union doing electrical work in DC. I feel good and extremely grateful and hopeful. It is my humble opinion that Crest View and ALL the people there have Your health in mind. I couldn't possibly give a more positive review. I've been to a few rehabs, but Crest View Recovery is the only one I've been to where I have felt so loved and understood. This treatment center is not just in it for the money, but for the clients. Every single staff member from the owners to the therapists to the techs all genuinely care about your recovery and want the best for you. 10 out of 10 recommend. I can't begin to explain it but this place is absolutely special! If you need something they bend over backwards to get it done, unlike so many other places I've been to where they keep you at arms length and keep telling you they will get back to you, which they never do! They will work with you on your financial situation as long as you are working a good program! PLEASE give this a place a try if you are serious about changing your life! Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough amazing things about Crestview. I’ve been to 13 different residential treatment facilities from Wilmington, NC to Top Tier Facilities In California, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia. And That’s not including countless detoxes. I landed at Crestview in February of 2020 and unfortunately had to come home to convalesce from having the flu. I relapsed very briefly while at home and Crestview reached out almost everyday just to make sure i was ok. I finally said enough is enough and I returned to Crestview On April 18th, 2020. One day before i turned 35. I was going through another paranoid manic psychotic episode (I have schizoaffective Disorder) and that’s one of the main reasons i use is to self medicate those symptoms. Id never been to treatment in the midst of an episode but because it’s a smaller group setting there is much more room to feel like your individual needs get met and you feel safe and you come to know your peers as confidants, friends, and maybe family. When I needed to see the psychiatrist or my counselor I was always able to speak to them even if it was for a moment just to let them know i needed their assistance. And no ones needs EVER fell on deaf ears. No one ever had any complaints about their treatment. Everyone was always happy with their counselor, their treatment plan, their medication, and their progress while i was there and i know three other people who had gone a couple years before me and they have nothing but praises to sing about crestview and two of the 3 people are still clean and the other one is doing well on maintenance. but my counselor, Miss Joselyn changed my life. I have been to counseling my whole life and i never felt safe enough or understood enough to be completely forthright in my treatment and I was FINALLY able to get some real work done with her. She is the most knowledgeable, GIFTED, Non-judgmental, effective, charming, honest, and helpful people I’ve ever gotten the pleasure of working with. I am not an easy case and she really got a lot moving for me in my therapy sessions that probably would have taken years perhaps with someone else. She spoke to me in a language i understood and was a firm but loving force who truly wants the best for her clients. She is amazing and I feel seriously next level blessed i got the opportunity to work with her. But ALL of the therapist there are incredibly gifted and REAL and relatable. Like I said I had done the treatment center shuffle and i thought i knew it all and had heard it all but I learned so much more about myself, addiction, recovery, and my purpose, and spiritual journey from this place. I’m not trying to sound silly but it’s really just a magical place. I would love to visit in maybe a year and give my story or something or give back to crestview and the staff any way i could just to show my gratitude. So my recommendation to anyone considering this place is to definitely go. keep an open mind, place your pre conceived notions about recovery or this place on the shelf and see for yourself. it’s magic if you let it be. When you start to see how addiction is keeping you stuck in your own private hell and there’s people who genuinely care and as a team they meet you where your at and show you the way out. When you get to the other side and see how the lie of the solution of our drugs and alcohol kept us in this crazy illusion trapped from all your blessings and gifts you’ll be beyond relieved to have been given the opportunity to get out and then help others hopefully in their journey out of this realm of suffering. so give yourself a break and give yourself this amazing gift. Experiencia fantástica: Crest View saved my life. In a time when I no longer knew who I was or what I wanted, Crest View provided a safe space for me to be seen, heard, and understood. I was equipped with tools for success, however, the application was up to me. Recovery is possible. I am currently living that truth. I was able to find employment, sponsorship, a home group, and affordable sober living all the while receiving treatment for my addiction. Carefully chosen and knowledgeable staff taught me how to navigate and arrest my addiction through their education, empathy, service, and experience. I am beyond grateful for the connections made and maintained through this organization and I encourage anyone who gains a moment of clarity in their current addiction to reach out. Experiencia fantástica: I entered Crestview hopeless with a long history of chronic poly-substance abuse and co-occurring Depression. I had completed several treatment programs prior to Crestview throughout the past twenty years. Therefore, I can say with complete confidence my experience here was the best. I received person centered care specifically designed for my needs. I was also able to learn core beliefs that led to my chronic relapses and address them in a safe environment resulting in true change. . The clinical expertise combined with introduction to the 12 Step Fellowship truly gave me the foundation I was lacking: mentally, spiritually and physically. Although I have had periods of sobriety I find great hope that I now can lead a life of true recovery and remain substance free with a new found quality of life.

The staff is genuine and seem to care a great deal about the patients. This was my first time in an inpatient facility and it exceeded my expectations. The rooms are apartments and they are clean and comfortable. Experiencia fantástica: This treatment center saved my life, it was my first time going to treatment and I’m so glad I came here. Staff are truly caring people and do want you to recover, from the owners down everyone treats you with respect. Classes are good and the extra stuff you get to do like yoga, meditation, and acupuncture really help you become grounded and in touch with yourself. The only thing I have to complain about is the seats in group kill your back after sitting in them all day, also the traveling back and forth from the house to the center several times a day really sucks. I am truly grateful to have come to the treatment center.

Experiencia fantástica: Crestview wasn't the recovery center I wanted, it was the recovery center I needed! But it really was a great. The therapists, group leaders, techs, and even the owners were involved in the treatment process and were always able to lend an ear. I learned alot about addiction and worked to find my spcific triggers and needs in recovery. They helped me set up after care and worked with me through every step of the process. This was my first time in Rehab but from the stories I heard from other clients, it was exactly what they needed to start and stay sober. So many thanks to everyone there for helping me restart my life!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to multiple treatment centers over the past two years and Crestview has by far been the most helpful. They made my stay very comfortable and the reality based program got me ready for the real world once I discharged. You learn to do chores and cook meals as well as shop on a affordable budget. Crestview also taught me to have fun in sobriety by taking the clients out on activities every weekend. The staff is somewhat quick in getting what you need as long as you're able to vouch for yourself and your needs. I am more confident now in my recovery than I have ever been. They made sure I had the resources I needed here in Asheville after my discharge. I got set up with IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program), a primary care doctor and psychiatrist before I even left the center! Highly recommend for people struggling with any substance abuse, alcoholism or mental health. Techs are above and beyond here as well; They are passionate about their job and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

It's to get you into a new routine of life a life of not using or laying around in self pity. My 50 days at Crest View gave me hope and a new leace on life. The house I staid in was awesome it was very clean and I had no complaints about anything or anyone of the staff. Thank You All for helping me get back to living life on my terms.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very impressed with Crestview Recovery Center. Having struggled with addiction for many years, I have been in several treatment centers. This is different than any experience I have ever had. I was treated as an individual, given freedom and I did not feel institutionalized. I feel like this program prepares you to go out and live life on your own. The staff is extremely empathetic and helpful, and they listen to your individual needs. While some short term success was enjoyed and cherised i contiued to find myself going back to that darkness. I gave myself one last chance at continued long term recovery and took a suggestion and entered a newer "Reality Based" treatment program called "Crestview"...Hands down the best recovery program I've been too!!!!... I can honestly say for a super sick and self destructive addict such as myself, Crestview gave me all the tools and resources I needed in order to live and love a life without the use of any mood or mind altering substances. The same substances I used to run to when life became to much to bare. No longer do I need them though. Everyone that works there are great with clients and their family. The therapists helped my son get to the root of his addiction and helped him understand what it was that he was running from. They helped him gain the strength to work through his issues and got him the right connections with people in recovery.
