Dr. Okezie explained the problem and treatment in great detail in a teaching/mentor way. We were not rushed or made to feel like a bother. Experiencia fantástica: Today was my first visit to see Dr. Okezie and he did not disappoint. I searched for a pain management clinic that would not judge me for the color of my skin or because I’m a woman. Yes, I had a terrible experience with a melanemic physician who hadn’t even prescribed meds to me. I read reviews after reviews about Dr. Okezie of people from different walks of life. He was highly rated and now I understand why. I felt heard and respected at the Interventional Sports and Pain Management Associates clinic. The location is convenient with ample parking spaces and the office and restroom were clean and well maintained. I was greeted with a positive attitude and a smile upon entering the clinic. The wait time was not long at all after turning in my forms that I completed. I took forever to complete the forms because I’m such a slow writer, lol. A young gentleman called my name and took me to the back for my vitals. His smile was radiant and contagious. He informed me that the doctor would attend to me shortly. Again, I didn’t wait long before Dr. Okezie walked in, greeted me and introduced me to his nurse that accompanied him. He was extremely thorough, understanding, engaging and charismatic. I could tell that he is a top tier performer and knows his craft. Dr. Okezie gave me so much insight into my situation and explained how he could assist me. I left his office feeling optimistic about my prognosis. He gave me a plan and I will stick with it. Thank you so much Dr. Okezie! Update: Dr. Okezie and his ENTIRE staff are simply THE BEST!!!

The real reason I recommend Dr. Okezie is, Dr. Okezie. He gives the information you need to make a decision. I have had a back injury for 12 years and I finally have most days at a tolerable pain level. The procedures we do together are not a permanent solution but have helped me see hope for a productive life for the rest of my years. I have been in pain for a very long time, and upon my first visit with the doctor, he was so genuinely concerned about the level of pain that I have been in, and he told me I will help you and we will work together to figure out what the best course of treatment will be for you. He was very caring and kept asking me did I have any questions or concerns. I feel as though he is a wonderful doctor with a good bedside manner and explained everything to me in full. He also told me that he wanted me to do physical therapy and that that would help. As I'm sitting here writing this I am in tears because I feel so much better since I left his office. If you have a loved one that is in pain please reach out to his office and no that they care for everyone that they see. I thank God for this man.

He is very polite and understanding, his staff is great you could not ask for a better pain management doctor as well as his staff. To me they are over a number from 1-10. More so like a 100% caring.

He’s matter of fact & straightforward but he’s is not a doctor that will recommend procedures just because he can make money of a patient. I was doing PT and the therapist recommended Dr. Okezie for my trigger points because PT was not helping. I’m happy to say that I am not having any pain and Dr. Okezie has done an amazing job for me. Experiencia fantástica: I was kind of scared to skeptical on what my first visit was going to be like with the pain management doctor but as soon as he shook my hand and told me that he was going to get me walking again I felt so relieved all of their staff are all laughing and happy taking care of their business working very hard to care for us I was coughing inside of the room and one of the staff members heard me and brought me a nice glass of water and asked me if I was okay the doctor physically gave me a test to see what was wrong with me and asked me all the questions that I needed to tell him and he knew right away what I was dealing with I am currently from Austin Texas and will never leave Baytown Texas no more because this doctor has proved to me that he can help me I hope that others come here because it is a very nice place thank you God bless you

First was to get the swelling down, on the area behind my neck, and shoulders, along with some pain relief, before getting a nerve block.
