Experiencia fantástica: I started going to Allied after rotator cuff surgery. I was nervous about my recovery, but as soon as I walked into the Allied building I felt at ease. Everyone was smiling (even the other patients!) and the staff was so kind. They treat you like a guest, offering fresh-baked cookies and refreshing lemon water at every session. The facility is lovely, modern, well-equipped and sparkling clean. I was blessed to work with several talented therapists over the course of my four-month program, but the one I worked with the most was Cesar. Not only is he a gifted physical therapist, but he is also a great motivator and teacher. He always knew exactly what to say and do to keep me moving forward with confidence, even on my most difficult days. His positive energy was contagious. I am so grateful to him and the rest of the team for helping me conquer the toughest physical challenge of my life. I recommend Allied wholeheartedly. Ten stars!

Experiencia fantástica: This review is approximately 2 years in the making. I am a 59 YO Disabled Veteran. I suffered with at times excruciating pain for 16 years in various places on my body. The last two years of these conditions left me basically bed-ridden and physically unable to retrieve my own mail from my mailbox. Technology changed and a miracle surgery was performed on me by a local Neurosurgeon. After being relieved of a portion of my disabilities, I was kinda feeling ok and one of my Drs. Suggested I play golf to "Get my Life back." I was a Physical wreck and still suffered with other extreme pain issues. I was recommended to Allied Physical therapy by my Pain Management Specialist. It was on my very first visit that I found true relief from one portion of pain. It motivated me to find more relief. The Drs and Staff saw an improvement in my Quality of life. I partnered with my Physician and we made a plan. I made a Commitment to play for the City Golf Championship in December 2024. I'm am so Grateful for the efforts of the Staff of Allied Physical therapy, It's almost time to tee off and I feel 30 years younger. My physical body is ready to withstand the competition. I'm feeling Outstanding and each day I feel stronger. I want everyone that reads this to know. If you work hard and stay focused, God will put the right people in your life that will propel you past where you thought was good enough. I thought if I could just "Feel better" that would be good enough. What I learned was that the Drs and Staff of Allied Physical therapy will give you all of their energy to not only make your dreams and my dreams come true but they make the whole world a better place. When people feel good they do good. Allied Physical therapy has made me feel so good. I'm attempting to get parts of my life back that were absolutely gone from my mind. Whether I play good or not, that's not the Goal. Allied Physical therapy has made me a Champion in life. The absolute joy that I feel each morning is because my pain is removed from my mind and I am Free to be myself again. That is priceless. Experiencia fantástica: If it wasn’t for this place, I don’t know what I would’ve done with my arm when my doctor told me that I had to have surgery for my biceps and my rotator cuff. I was scared, but Suzanne and Cesar made it seem very easy. They kept me calm they really knew what they were doing. Everyone in there is really friendly and when my therapy was over, Suzanne gave me a ton of recommendations on what I should do to continue with my therapy outside of here so I am forever grateful to both of them and this place. I chose Allied Physical Therapy because of proximity and introductory emails I received from them with educational videos and information. The experience has been high quality from hello. The automatic front door, pleasant reception at the front desk and the exam with treatment plan by Dr. Susanne were top flight. Dr. Susanne and Cesar recommended exercises which improved my condition significantly. In addition, they performed massage therapy, ultrasound and heat treatment. Laser therapy was also administered. Both clinicians are knowledgeable and caring and I had positive results in 3 weeks. The entire staff is very professional and prompt. Also, you can feel the love of the Lord in this place. I highly recommend!

Our daughter suffered with TMJ for years she couldn't chew, she had pain & discomfort, her jaw would lock up etc. Her chiropractors & dentists couldn't help so her dentist suggested physical therapy. Dr. Matthew is absolutely amazing at what he does, he is very kind & caring with his patients. She went for a full year & within weeks there were big improvements. She is now pain free!

Experiencia fantástica: Nice new facility with plenty of free parking & easy to access. Staff was very friendly & welcoming including automatically opening the front door when I arrived each time, which was helpful especially when I first started going there in my surgical shoe. I had bunion and hammer toe surgery and Dr. Matt was knowledgeable, personable and helpful with the rehab of my foot and giving me practical exercises that I could do at home and then following up with electronic messages to make it easier to remember. While physical therapy was not required for my recovery, I found it to be extremely helpful and got me moving close to normal a lot more quickly than I otherwise would have been able to.

I am currently being treated for sciatic pain by Cesar and I've been feeling a lot of relief from my symptoms and the methods he has been teaching have really been helping. Experiencia fantástica: In January 2024, I had a Total Reverse Shoulder Replacement. I knew I needed PT afterwards, and chose Allied Physical Thereapy due to close proximity to our home in NW Cape Coral. What I didn't immediately know, was how I was going to be Blessed to become a patient of Susanne McIntosh. She is excellent in so many ways. She understood the anatomy of my Reverse Shoulder Replacement. Susanne explained, and listened to me every step of the way. She guided me through my excerices. and I actually looked forward to seeing her 2 to 3 times per week. I knew I was improving in my mobility, my pain levels, plus my goals for recovery were in sight. Susanne has helped me in more ways than one. While nearing the end of my 12 weeks of PT, my husband was experiencing extreme difficulties in walking. He went from using a walker, to needing a wheelchair. During one of my appointments, Susanne was able to assist in getting a much earlier appointment for my husband to get the help he needed. Without Susannes assesment of his situation, we would still be waiting to see his Spine Surgeon. He needed surgery, IMMEDIATELY! So, not only did she give me the confidence, encouragement, and return to my " normal life", she was the instrumental person that God brought before both my husband and I. Experiencia fantástica: Being referred to ALLIED was my most important experience for therapy. On my first day I met Dr Susanne and she evaluated my condition. Wonderful person. Gave me soft tissue massage, exercises to do. Lastly heat. Wonderful!! I was scheduled for twice a week for a month. I had the pleasure of being assigned to Alina. Meeting her was a blessing to me. She is so compassionate as your therapist. Alina is friendly, caring and so supportive of your injury. She doesn't think of it as a job but to encourage you as she shows you how to relieve your pain. This place is #1 as she is. I'm so comfortable with all the exercises we do. We are working on my neck, shoulders and back. Her magical hands for deep tissue massage certainly do the job of those tight muscles. Alina has helped me with making stride in my progress. It all takes time. Alina is the best. Thanks ALLIED PHYSICAL THERAPY for all you do. I recommend this place to anyone that has issues. 5 stars!!

So apparently, your time is not as valuable as theirs. And the individual that answers the phone with extraordinarily rude and had no concern for my concerns

They care and actually listen to the patient and adapt your rehab program when you are having difficulty with certain movements unlike most other places that just tell you that you aren't trying hard enough. Experiencia fantástica: My name is Linda Nardone and I am using my husbands account for this review because I don't have a google account. I had surgery on my left rotator cuff in December 2022. My surgeon sent me to physical therapy 3 days later. I saw Dr. Susanne McIntosh she was so kind and gentle. I was in a great amount of pain. She reassured me it will take time but it will get better. I felt blessed to have her on my side. I was scheduled for 2X a week with Cesar Mateo. What a wonderful person he was. He worked on my arm and shoulder for 6 months. I did my home exercises faithfully. I had extensive rotator cuff repair so my therapy had to start out passive for quite some time. It was about 3 months until we could start aggressive therapy. Cesar was a godsend. He helped me through this and gave me faith. Now I am out of pain and can move my shoulder very well, more then I ever expected. I have come a long way. Thank you and all your staff for being so organized, courteous and polite.

Melissa Harkness is a true professional who is compassionate, empathetic, well educated, extremely diligent, a miracle-worker of a physical therapist I have ever known. My surgeon suggested that I try Allied. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. It has made such a difference. I was now with pelvic floor specialists who are kind, caring and experts in their fields. I have made tremendous improvement. The front office personnel are kind and caring. I drive almost 2 hours each way to come for my appointments, it is worth it. My only regret is that I didn't know about the clinic almost 2 years ago. For the first time in 35 years of practice as a Physical Therapist, I was given the opportunity to be treated by a medical team including the surgeon, home health and then outpatient services. I chose Allied where I have worked for many years. It was above and beyond my expectations. I went through 3-4 months of continuous treatment and still attend weekly visits when needed. What at first was humbling, turned around to make me love being a patient and being guided on a safe and sound recovery. I grew in my confidence for the therapists and for my own self as time passed. I had the opportunity to work under the care of each therapist, allowing their own skills and gifts to help me. They really are a caring team and each comes with a slightly different technique, but in the end, they all helped me to achieve my goals. I was honored to be taken care of in such a respectful, kind and patient manner. The front staff and supports greeted me each time allowed me to feel welcome. Going through recovery is challenging on many levels, bringing up emotions and feelings that are new or even unfamiliar. When I went to Allied, I was heard and supported and never felt alone. Experiencia fantástica: I was supposed to undergo back surgery when I received a referral for physical therapy at Allied Physical Therapy. I received a very thorough exam to isolate the muscles and nerves that needed work. Aside from the office visits I was given a link to a site that outlined the exercises I needed to do at home and a way to monitor my progress. Within a few weeks I was pain free and within the six week period I was able to go back to my normal activities. (I am back on ladders and roofs and doing yard work again.) Experiencia fantástica: After smashing the bottom third of my left knee cap in a slip/fall accident, surgery and immobilization for six weeks, I came to Allied PT completely reliant on a walker and my knee would barely bend. For the past three months, I have received excellent care three times a week from their highly skilled and very compassionate physical therapists. Dr. Susanne McIntosh put together an exercise care plan that was doable for me. She and Benjamin Meyer have healing hands. They very gently massaged and manipulated my knee, coaxing it each week to meet my next range of motion goal. Now, I can bend my knee fully and walk without any assistive aids. I don't believe I could of received better physical therapy anywhere else. Thank you Allied PT!!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Allied with a diagnosis of a broken bone, which unfortunately turned into a much more complex nerve syndrome. From my first visit with Dr. Matt Harkness, to all of my visits with Ben Meyer, (as well as a few other therapists when I had a scheduling conflict,) I always felt like i got something out of the visit. They were extremely knowledgable, compassionate, and determined to help me get back to work and resume my daily activities. The office staff was also friendly and knowledgable with insurance billing concerns. I found Allied on Google simply because of the location, and I could not be happier to have found them. I would recommend them to anyone in the area who is fighting to get back to living they life they had before the injury! I am so grateful for the staff at Allied!

Experiencia negativa: I have used Allied in the past and always been happy with them. I had referred anyone who needed PT to them. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was completely horrible and I won't be going back. I was initially evaluated by a student with no supervision as such, the fact that my rotator cuff was the issue wasn't properly identified. Several weeks later when that got overworked is when it was discovered. That student then finished their rotation there and I was passed off to someone else. I'm not sure if the notes the new person got were insufficient but they did not have a good grasp of how much I had/hadn't healed and had me do exercises that resulted in extreme pain as if I had never done any PT. After 9 visits and $180 in copays I feel I am almost no further along than when I started and have wasted my time and money. This establishment is growing and is in the process of building a new building. During one of my visits there were so many patients there that people were waiting in the parking lot. The staff is very nice and I'm happy that they're growing but they seem overworked and client care is suffering as a result. I won't use them again.

Experiencia fantástica: Allied Physical therapy was recommended to me by my PA. Landing there was the best thing that happened to me this year. I had huge problems mentally and physically all connected. Dr. Susanne McIntosh is absolutely the best, bar none. I have had PT over 35 years in two countries, but no one has ever brought the understanding and caring to combat my issues that Susanne has. The follow up with emailed exercises was so helpful and the personal touch all the way, made going there twice a week an experience to look forward to! I am doing so much better on so many levels and am so thankful to the caring and professional staff that greet one upon entering the facility. I have already recommended Susanne to my friends, if anyone needs therapy, this is the place to go! She understands that healing has to take place from the inside out. I especially enjoy that there is a yoga element to the exercises! My thanks to the Allied Physical staff! After two years and major knee replacement surgery, I am back under the care of Dr. Susanne McIntosh and two other physical therapists, Ceasr Mateo and Benjamin Myer! They have been fantastic and I have seen such an improvement in my mobility and pain levels for back and knee...the only place in town to go if you need help! I am so thankful to have the care that I need and receiving it from those who have worked with me...the best in Cape Coral!

From day one, my therapist, Caesar, was amazing & very compassionate, but taught me the need to work hard to get my shoulder back, from torn rotator cuff surgery. He’s the very best! Also, Suzanne worked with me during different intervals, to evaluate my progress. She was amazing, as well. Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience under the care of Dr. Matthew Harkness at Allied PT. I was referred there to see Dr. Harkness by my dentist for care and treatment of a TMJ (jaw) disorder. Dr. Harkness confirmed the problem and over a few weeks my pain was greatly reduced under his care. I continue doing the exercises he provided to "brush my muscles" and keep my pain away.

All staff from front desk through therapists are friendly and truly care about their clients. A Christian environment caring for the total person. The office decorations are tasteful, television monitors placed throughout the workout area display positive quotes, and mints are a nice touch. There are even fresh cookies offered in the lobby wait area. Therapist Susanne McIntosh and Therapy Assistant Paul Ryan are wonderful. They listened to my concerns and helped to relieve sciatica very quickly. Allied truly is "All About Getting You Back to What You Love".

Experiencia fantástica: Great RESULTS ! I had extreme lower back pain to the point I could not function routine activities of daily life without extreme pain. After three visits, (one week), I was much better... and able to at least function and perform daily activities. After two weeks I was back to playing golf... and other activities. After 3 weeks, I am about 95-98% well, full range of motion, with very minor discomfort. I was released from scheduled appointments, and on a personal maintenance program to prevent future episodes. Great staff (Therapists and office staff) that are knowledgeable, personable, and caring. They not only treat you, but explain the cause of the issue, develop a plan to fix it, explain what and why they are doing certain procedures, and the expected results. They teach good habits to prevent future occurrence. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Allied Physical Therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: The day after Xmas I had prostate cancer surgery. Two plus months after surgery I asked the staff at the Moffit Cancer Center to recommend a pelvic floor specialist to take care of incontinent issues arising from surgery. Dr. Melissa Harkness (lots of great credentials and a specialist in pelvic floor) was on the list and I contacted her. At the time I had not progressed well. She changed my exercises, explained what I needed to in terms of fluid intake, and gave me a new perspective on how to proceed. I have gone to her for 3+ months and I'm now told that I'm far ahead of the curve in terms of getting back to normal thanks to her efforts. The clinical coordinator for the pelvic health group,, Kristina Feick, could not have been more helpful in setting up appointments. They are a wonderful team and I highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: I am So glad my Urologist sent me to Allied Therapy for Pelvic Floor PT. Annette was very professional but also personable & so kind & thoughtful as she worked w/ me to help resolve my issues. She was very knowledgeable & patient also. I could not get the Kegel exercises right on my own. I couldn't isolate the correct muscle & only that muscle. I tightened too many muscles & made my back hurt in the process. She has taught me how to do them correctly & I will keep doing these on my own to strengthen my Pelvic Floor & avoid taking meds for my issues. Every member of the staff that I came into contact w/ was very professional & friendly.
