Experiencia fantástica: Patients can be quite the handful, but from my experience in 2 acute (5-7 days) stays and a residential (6 months-1 year) stay, the staff i've been accompanied with have been most helpful. The groups on acute are intensive, daily, and well informative. The staff is well trained and equipped to handle situations as they arise. A big chunk of the Meadows experience is the patient set you must co-exist with. I highly recommend this facility as it has definitely changed my thought processes and abilities to handle myself in situations I could not prior to this. Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: I did the IOP program with group. I never did like doing group sessions but, I am glad I went thru the program. Really enlightened me and allowed me a new outlook on life's struggles. I recommend anyone thinking of doing this to do so, truly a great experience.

Experiencia fantástica: My 15 year old son, just spent 5 days at Bloomington Meadows. He really enjoyed it better than the facility here in our hometown he said. He said eveyone was nice and accommodating to him.

Experiencia fantástica: Despite some of the reviews, it’s an actual alright place! The staff is nice and very friendly. I had no issues with staff. The only issue I really had staying there was other patients. Sides for that it’s a good place to go! 10/10 recommend!

Experiencia positiva: my experience at meadows was a great experience. this place honestly saved my life. i don’t know what i would have done if i didn’t go there. i was there for a week and in that little about of time i met some amazing people. all of the staff and techs were great. i love the environment they created for young people. it’s very open and excepting of every type of person. they really pour into these kids. i met some great kids my age and i’ll never forget the impact it made of my life. i’ve never felt more heard, excepted, and un-judged. i was able to be exactly who i am. i really benefited from this place. i hate that some people have had a bad experience with meadows, because it really can be a great place.

Experiencia fantástica: Worked wonders for me. I went in there voluntarily to find the cause of my alcoholism and substance abuse. Sure, there wasn't a whole lot to do, but the staff was incredibly kind to me and always took the time to listen. I received a psych evaluation which made things more clear and was put on medication that changed my hopeless outlook into a positive and hopeful one. Thank you guys. Shout out to Drew!

Experiencia fantástica: I found Bloomington Meadows to be a safe environment to safely detox. The individual group sessions were very helpful. They offered therapy with art, music, physical activity, and games. They provided a community atmosphere by doing something fun and I found it allowed the group to open up about different feelings and experiences in a very non judgmental environment. We shared ways to cope in positive ways with our struggles, rather than turning backwards into whatever brought us to Bloomington Meadows. For me, they opened wider the light at the end of the tunnel. I can proudly say since leaving their facility I continue to use the tools to keep moving forward and have not relapsed. Between Bloomington Meadows and the resources provided for outpatient assistance, I feel much healthier and happier with my life. I would recommend them to anyone seeking a place to find help. Experiencia fantástica: Hey this is a updated review I went to Bloomington about a year ago and it was really good if my boy frank is still there were going to have some problems though nah jk but fr I still got that pizza homie the gym omg it's so beautiful for a mental institution omg the food is great like Gordon Ramsay should review it art class was the best class more because of music lmao but the class itself was really zen and peaceful my pieces I left behind are probably being displayed lmao the staff are vey friendly unless one of the staff is being mean be as nice as possible please a lot of the staff have been in the same shoes your in except the orange haired lady with the glasses tbh i still want her fired I had socks on my arm due to cuts to feel more comfortable and I was in the other unit she works in the kids unit she came over to my unit and said i cant have extra material even though it was the staff that said I could her glasses are useless because other people had socks on their arms too ( I really want her fired)( orange hair glasses kids unit)I show her the scars on my arm and she gives me a very fake oh im sorry so i was a lil rude with her in tone not words and she just starts laughing while walking back to the kids unit wow but other than that all the other staff were very nice we watched Shrek one Shrek two suicide squad( yikes ) my little pony ( also yikes lmao ) a lot of good stuff but me personally it took a lil while afterwards to get my life on track by but now I am working my second job ( dollar general) I'm working on getting my own place currently im at a decent hotel atm I have really nice clothes etc id and insurance have had the dirty dance ( if you know what I mean) have three debit cards etc im doing alright Don't EVER give up on yourself IT WILL get better IT WILL take time as well though it will take time if your scared like I was going in please don't be you will get out usually a week or two after my heart rate was 180 every morning because i was scared I wouldn't get out usually great patients as well frank probably took the wrong turn still(inside joke) im going to be honest though ma boi when you called me jack black before we were friends I wasn't too happy lmao but man I hope your out and enjoying life I really do i am but not life's different than it was not all bad though I still feel the person I was back then and the difference always kills me I was drinking way too much alcohol for that age but good news I quit drinking about 4 months ago and I do not regret it I still smoke though but eh what are you going to do love all of y'all ( except orange hair lady) and I will never see any of you again but the memories help ❤️ ( also I get paid today lmao)

Experiencia fantástica: I was placed in there when I was 8-9, honestly I really liked being there, I never wanted to leave… I was in the for about 3-4 months at a time, then I’d be put back in again, I was taught a lot there tbh, I remember the little classroom, we had school, pottery, and the workers. We had this one guy, who had longer black hair, and we called him Superman, I think his name was mat or something, there was also downtimes, things like watching people getting restrained, even one time was threatened they were gonna use a needle to calm me down and restrain. I remember the Bible Study in the cafeteria, and the rock climbing, my fav part was the workers and the food, like every meal tasted so damn good. Overall had a good time there and it helped me.

Experiencia fantástica: I think that it's one of the best programs that I've ever withheld and it has shown me a lot and I've experienced a lot from my my pro tissippers in my group and my counselor is awesome and my first counselor before that was awesome I all around believe it's just an experience that everybody should matter fact have to do be for real I love it a lot I wouldn't trade it in for anything it's been a great experience for me I've it's taught me how to bring out the the better me in me and I can't say anything more than it's best experience I've ever had to do

Experiencia positiva: I was in the child unit, and i just left today. Staff was amazing there, the food definitely wasn’t expected to be a 5 star meal. I overall had my treatment done within 7 days! I highly recommend that that have a better storage system though, since mine and my friends hoodies were found in the little boys donation bin. overall, the place was very good and i recommended to people if they need the help

Experiencia positiva: My son spent 5 days here, he is 14. After reading the reviews I was very worried but we had a great experience. Good communication, my son said all the staff were friendly. They listened to all my concerns and they were addressed. There was only 1 issues but it was addressed directly.

Experiencia positiva: Most of the staff was great only thing was the lady at the front desk is not very nice at all .We are parents bringing our children there or family to help them ..She was not friendly in the slightest.You should want people yo meet a friendly caring person at a place that is supposed to help people...other then that I am grateful for the help my daughter received.

Experiencia positiva: It was absolutely amazing there I had a 7 day stay and it was good the roommates I got where amazing only problem is when a kid threw my drawing in the trash they didn’t say anything and they forgot to send my meds into the pharmacy.

Experiencia fantástica: My child was kept safe and well taken care of here. Everyone I spoke with took the time to answer my questions and explain things to me. My son said that everyone here treated him kindly and respectfully. I can't thank everyone here enough for the care my son recieved during his stay. Of course, I hope that he never needs these sort of services again, but if he does I hope that he is able to come back here.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter was evaluated in person and then attended virtual intensive outpatient therapy sessions. The intake therapist was professional and very gentle. The IOP therapist Michael was great! My daughter found him easy to talk to and said he was very helpful! My daughter is in such a better place now, thank you Bloomington Meadows!

Experiencia positiva: I've been to 6 different hospitals multiple times for self harm, suicide attemps, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, and auditory hallucinations and this one helped me the most the staff were really nice and helpful and actually seemed to care.

Experiencia fantástica: This place really was a great help to me, I had some real issues with substance abuse that co occured with severe depression and anxiety. They helped me detox then helped me arrange for some longer term treatment. 8.5 months clean and sober.
