The therapists' approach wasn't just focused on immediate symptom relief; they also provided guidance on maintaining balance health in the long term. For my back issues, the therapists used a variety of techniques to help manage my condition. The exercises and tips given were easy to integrate into my daily routine. Additionally, their recommendation to transition to aqua therapy, with the option to return if needed, demonstrated their commitment to my overall well-being, offering a continuity of care that I found reassuring.

Experiencia positiva: Poonam works to target my hip nerve pain with dry needling technique. I have only seen her 3 times but am all ready feeling a difference. She really cares about relieving my pain. Taking time to listen to me. So very happy I found this therapy center.

The things Poonam & Abigail have taught me to deal with this problem will last me the rest of my life. Poonam & her whole staff are soooo amazing. When I say they… I’m referring to the audiologist and her student. The student was so professional and her voice was very calming. I give them an A+

Experiencia fantástica: CIIB has been a life-changer for me. I had what is called "false vertigo" and went to 2 other physical therapy places before I found the "Institute of Balance." They are more than people trained in how to "exercise" your muscles. They KNOW WHY there may be a problem and KNOW WHEN a problem may need to be solved another way. I trust them to advise me not-only-about my balance, but on my spine, inner ear and muscle problems. They amaze me with how client-focused they are. They apply their knowledge to help me, not to show-off. They know the lastest techniques and always know when the problem is not solveable by physical therapy. Then they make sure I am guided to the next best option. They are unique, independent and are focus on helping me get better. I am just one of their many loyal clients.

Experiencia fantástica: Developed pubic symphysis at the end of my pregnancy and was in considerable pain. After only 2 visits Poonam had me feeling so much improvement. She was so friendly and caring. If you are in need of pelvic, prenatal or postpartum help, I would highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I have met some excellent physical therapists in my experience but this place is the best. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. I have meniers disease as well as hyper mobility and neck subluxation with headaches and they have helped incredibly with most of my issues. If they can't fix it they have a network of professionals that can.

Experiencia fantástica: The treatment I received from Poonam and both of her PT assistants was nothing short of amazing. Coming from Decatur (45min away) the care, attention, and respect I received from the office team was well worth the drive for my 12 weeks of care. I never realized how much PT could help with pelvic pain during pregnancy—I will definitely be using this facility for the next time I am pregnant!

The receptionist Andrea is so friendly and is always so willing to work with your schedule when making appointments. She always greets me with a smile. I have been working with Cody and David for my neck therapy and re-evaluations. They are so personable and I feel so comfortable with them. They always ask me how I am doing and what they can do to help. I have been so pleased with this business. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of balance therapy. I have appreciated the whole body approach my therapists have taken in getting me back to good health. Flexible scheduling, clean environment, and locally owned. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about CIIB for physical therapy. I recently injured my IT band from running and was in pain. Not only were Poonam, Cody and Hannah able to ease my pain but I was given exercises to strengthen my core so that I do not continue to injure myself. They are all great listeners and very intuitive therapists. I feel great, have incorporated the exercises and can now enjoy my sport . The front office staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: I am a young 30 year old mom of 4 (two of which are twins). I have always been very active and 'body savvy', eating the right foods and working out in the gym a couple days a week. I just wasn't getting the results I expected with all the work I put in, and I was also experiencing some bladder leakage and other 'pelvic floor weakness' issues (even though I thought I was targeting those in the gym all these years). I went into CIIB and saw Poonam, and she gave me a great explanation of the muscles and what was going on and she showed me how, even though my large muscles were strong, a lot of those smaller hip/stabilizing muscles were so weak and my body had learned to compensate during my exercises with poor form. I was cheating on all my gym routines! She and her PTA corrected my form and gave me exercises to strengthen those muscles and I feel a phenomenal difference. I'm getting tone and strength in my abdominals and glutes with only a couple days at the gym now. My leakage problems are almost non-existant. My body is working very synergystically with me now. Can't recommend Poonam and her team enough! If you experience even seemingly minor issues with leakage, intimacy, super tight/sore legs and hips, or low back constantly hurting/going out, please schedule with these people. They really know what they're doing and they are very nurturing :).

Experiencia positiva: It took til the 4th visit for someone to listen to me and focus on the correct area. Once they did, I did receive good treatment and pain relief - this was thanks to Haleigh. The woman at the front desk is abrasive - when I needed to cancel or reschedule she acted like I had personally offended her - even when it was a full week prior to the appt. I also witnessed her berating another patient across the waiting room for having an outstanding balance.
