Experiencia fantástica: Great Staff!! My Mom had a Heart Attack, they Rushed here from our Dr. at OSF in Fairbury who is also Super to the ER in Pontiac. Then from there they Rushed her to Bloomington OSF and took her right into Surgery. They saved her life....

Experiencia fantástica: The entire facility is FAR above any in the area. The staff treat every person (patient and family) with respect and dignity. The Birthing Center is wonderful and the nursing staff ensure the patient (and newborn) receive the highest level baby friendly care. My wife and I live in Peoria and we will for sure drive to St Joseph when we have our next child. That is truly how wonderful that floor is.

Experiencia fantástica: I gave birth to my son here on 2/1/24. It was such a great experience thanks to the wonderful hospital staff. They truly took care of my son and I. I couldn’t ask for better nurses, they were truly a blessing taking care of us, being so kind and monitoring my son so closely when he was in the womb. They even helped so much with breastfeeding afterwards. Thank you SO much Niki, Emma, Nikki, Morgan, Sarah, Sam and Ashley. My husband and I can’t thank you all enough!

Experiencia fantástica: Not sure if this is where to leave this review. I had a pulmonary function test and 6 min walk. Tina did the pulmonary function test and she is absolutely wonderful. She helped me throughout the entire test, without her guidance I could never have done it properly. She goes above and beyond and has a wonderful attitude and is so upbeat and friendly. During the 6 min walk Tina and Bridget helped. They both encouraged me and continued to keep me motivated. Thank you Tina and Bridget, you both are amazing assets to OSF! I had no anxiety like I usually do when I have tests done because of their efforts!

Experiencia fantástica: My mother recently spent several days on the Ortho unit. All of her nurses and techs were outstanding! Casey, Lexi, Antonio, Monica, and several others that I apologize for not remembering their names. I could tell that they were all dedicated to their work and went above and beyond to take excellent care of her and be sure that we had anything that we needed. A sincere thank you to everyone!

Experiencia fantástica: My husband was admitted to OSF St. Joseph hospital on Oct 16, 2023 due to a very bad stroke. Yet, St. Joseph hospital has such a wonderful medical team. My husband have not only waken up from his coma but also can completely breathe on his own now. Thank you all the doctors, nurses, techs，physical therapists, aspiration specialists, speech therapists, vocational therapists for all your loving cares. My husband makes wonderful progress in whole body recovery under your wonderful care. God bless you all!

Experiencia fantástica: The maternity staff is so incredible here. This is my second delivery with them. Not only did they literally save mine and my sons life,but the entire experience out that moment has been wonderful. I 100% recommend delivery here to moms.

Experiencia fantástica: I went for what I thought was a viral infection with major congestion in my nose, I was expecting any other treatment with a doctor in and out say a few words and leave. But instead I was met with the most incredible doctor I have ever had work with me in my entire life, a beautiful and kind woman with amazing style who sat us down and explained every question we had in such detail with examples and so much more, she really took the time to speak to and connect with us. By the time I left I felt not only much better about my cold, but also like I truly learned, like I left a college class. Amazing care and service I could not reccomend enough

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot express the gratitude we have for the treatment my mother in law received. She was in the hospital 6 times in 5 months. The nursing staff was phenomenal every time we were there.

Experiencia fantástica: My grandfather had a heart attack on November 29, 2019. He was admitted to this hospital. I cannot remember everything from this experience but I remember he really liked his nurse, a very nice guy whose name I sadly can not remember. He was supposed to have surgery but they could not perform it because of a tooth infection. So they rescheduled it for December 20, 2019 and did a great job. I remember after I headed home (to northern Illinois. I don’t live in Bloomington), my grandpa left the hospital without getting discharged and we got called, saying he had left. So grateful that this hospital called his family to make sure he was OK. They also saved his life because it was his 4th heart attack and surgery was very risky. He also lived half an hour from this hospital yet they still took him into their care via an ambulance. I would have reviewed earlier but I forgot the name of the hospital after he was released. Either way, thank you, OSF, for providing care to my grandpa.

Experiencia fantástica: I gave birth here by the recommendation of my ob versus going to the other hospital, as she thought this staff is more professional and better. The whole experience was AMAZING. The maternity ward is much nicer than what the video shows on their website, the rooms have all been updated and there is a nice spacious couch turned bed for your support person to sleep with plenty of storage and a beautiful HUGE window. The staff was so amazing I am so thankful for everything they did for me. They were wonderful people, truly wish I would've brought goodie bag to gift them with as I love them so much.

Experiencia fantástica: I came here and was admitted overnight . Everyone was wonderful! I wish I remembered everyone’s name but my overnight nurse in particular , Jemma I believe , was phenomenal! I’ve never had to spend the night in a hospital before. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the night and was so nice ! She definitely eased my nerves. Thank you St Joseph Staff !

Experiencia fantástica: Prior to our daughter's birth, we took some preparatory classes and learned a great deal. We toured the birthing center and were impressed by what we saw. Ultimately, we selected OSF over BroMenn (nothing against BroMenn), and we had a wonderful experience. We intend on using OSF for any future children as well.
