Experiencia fantástica: This is the hair dresser here I've been here many years and it's such a beautiful facility the administration department is very helpful and the residents are beyond great the receptionist Bianca is very nice and super helpful definitely a great place to be everyone is so nice.

Experiencia fantástica: Avante is an amazing place to come to all staff are friendly and amazing. The young lady at the front desk Bianca was so sweet and helped with everything I needed: the nurses helped out very well... it's a very good nursing / rehabilitation center.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to a few different rehabilitation and nursing centers in Palm Beach County to visit my wife. Avante at Boca Raton is by far the best facility she has been in. From what I was told, the past year has brought about a lot of positive changes at this institution. It is absolutely spotless and odor free. The staff are extremely caring, courteous and attentive. I don't have to worry about her being ignored on ANY shift, including overnights. The rehab staff is AWESOME - all of them. The gym is state of the art and beautiful. I also want to acknowledge the kitchen. I have tried the food at several of these places and Avante's food is the BEST by a long shot. My wife even decided to go to some activities, which she never did in other facilities. She actually told me she had fun! Overall, I would recommend Avante Boca to anyone who needs nursing home or rehab care. They are the total package. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Experiencia fantástica: Avante at Boca Raton is a truly exceptional nursing home that provides its residents with the highest level of care and compassion. From the moment you step through the doors, you are enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at Avante at Boca Raton is simply outstanding. They are all so kind, caring, and attentive to the needs of the residents. They take the time to get to know each individual and create personalized care plans that meet their specific needs. The administrator of Avante at Boca Raton is also very impressive. She is passionate about providing the best possible care for her residents and is constantly looking for new ways to improve the facility. The food at Avante at Boca Raton is delicious and nutritious. The dietary team takes great pride in preparing meals that are both appealing to the palate and meet the dietary needs of the residents. I attached some pictures of some of the meals served there. The nurses are skilled in providing medical care, but they also have a deep understanding of the emotional needs of their patients. They are always there to offer comfort and support. Overall, Avante at Boca Raton is an exceptional nursing home that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to care for a loved one.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother has been in Avante’s care for 8 months. She has improved dramatically due to the care and concern of the staff. Special shoutout to Ryan, Aimee, Tracy, Murial, and Jill in physical therapy. She went from not being able to remember to use a phone for 3 years to now calling me every 15 minutes. Thank you Avante! Forever if your debt for giving me my mother back.

Experiencia fantástica: When I look at Avante Boca I want to compare with the basket of apples on the activity calendar in my room. They say that one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. That said, there are no bad apples here at Avante Boca at all. When I came to Avante from the hospital I was totally dependent on staff for EVERYTHING. They fed me and dressed me and did all of my daily care. I couldn't walk or get out of bed by myself. I would like to acknowledge the outstanding therapy staff for getting me back on my feet and giving more than 100% of their effort and time. I tried to give them 150% back. Thanks to Jun, Larry, and Vivian for your skill and compassion. The nursing staff should be commended as well. I was given excellent care by all. There are many other therapists and staff, too many to name individually. The CNAs changed my linens daily and always responded to the call light promptly. As someone who in the hotel industry, I know the importance of customer service and clean rooms. If I could shout from the rooftops or fly it from a plane I would. THIS IS THE PLACE IN BOCA RATON YOU NEED FOR REHAB!!

Experiencia fantástica: Avante at Boca Raton cares for their residents across all departments from administration, nursing department from the director of nursing to their CNAs, all of therapy, and dietary also. Food plays a vital role in health and for a nursing home kitchen to provide hot and flavorful meals is a blessing. Great job to the whole team! Would certainly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to find a place a couple weeks ago for my mom it was not easy to find a decent place I was very fortunate to come across Avante it is a very clean very mellow quiet spot for people to rest and do rehab the floors are clean all the nurses are fine it doesn’t smell like most of the old homes everyone is so nice and thoughtful it’s a pleasure to go up there and visit my mother I was very fortunate to have got a private room for her GOD BLESS

Experiencia positiva: For a skilled nursing facility, Avante is the best I have seen. It is clean, the food is good and it does not smell. Most of the staff is lovely and caring. My mother and my sister are both there and I feel that they are getting very good care. I would definitely recommend, especially if you are on Medicaid.

Experiencia positiva: I do not write reviews, however – Jerry, the Administrator, has shown to me a great understanding that the pandemic is real and the caring that it is important to keep not only the residents but the staff, care givers, family/friends healthy. He has established regular update calls to discuss issue and provide solution, unlike other facilities that do not provide any information or that send out numerous letters just enumerating the sheer number of continued residents/staff that are ill or dying. Colleen, Director Social Services, who is responsive to the family and care givers, and I have seen show respect and caring for not only the residents but the employees as well. Last, but not least, Stacey, the Activities Director, who understands that ‘if you don’t use it, you lose it’ and finds the way to ‘reach’ the resident (mentally and physically) and keep them engaged when it is all to easy to let one become inactive. Avante team – please keep up the good works for all our loved ones – with or without families.

Experiencia fantástica: Our family was so grateful for the care provided to my brother through his illness and passing. The staff at Avante were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. In particular, their communication with us was exceptional and continuous throughout the entire process, calling with updates several times per week. This gave us such reassurance during an emotionally difficult time.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband, Barry Schreiber had been a patient at Avante from the beginning of January until mid. Feb. was in the Covid unit for about a month and I must say was given fantastic care. He was then moved to a regular room where the great care continued. I must say that Social Services with Colleen at the helm were outstanding I found that Barry wasn’t a patient number, but treated like a family member. Stacey, the social director was extremely friendly and made sure that our visits went well. If I could have brought them home with me, I would have been thrilled. I will say Avante is a clean and caring facility. This is our number one choice.

Experiencia fantástica: My father had been transferred here for only a short term rehab stay from West Boca Medical Center. Despite the short term status, and the fact that I was "remote" the entire time in Philadelphia, the entire staff assisting my father have been wonderful not only for his immediate needs in PT/medication, but also with assistance with social services and home healthcare after discharge. A special thank you to Colleen, the Director of Social Services, who truly went above and beyond the standard of care with ensuring my father received the home health care he desperately needed weeks afterwards, even after some snafu's with my fathers own primary care physician.

Experiencia fantástica: I have to say the staff there is wonderful considering the state or the owners really needs to give this place a facelift because besides the staff this place is shabby and depressing. My review is based on Coleen, Diana,Yolanda,June, Vivian, Larry and Garlene ( not sure how it’s spelt) and I’m sure I’m forgetting someone. Coleen was my lifesaver not only is she caring sweet and goes above and beyond for you but and you can just tell she’s genuine. Obviously no one wants to be in a rehab or a home but she definitely brings some sunshine every day! Thank you coleen and staff:)

Experiencia fantástica: My Mom (Evelyn Miller) stayed in Avante of Boca Raton for 2 months Nov. & Dec.2020. We vistied as often as we were permitted. Avante was WONDERFUL to us & to my Mom ! . It was overall a sweet & precious time for us as a family. There were a few employees of Avante that really made a positive impact on us... Colleen O'Dowd (social services) was the sweetest person & helped us tremendously ~ loved her ! There was Stacey Krieger (activity director) she was so friendly & cared so much for my Mom & us too. Activities Assistants, Joy Grant & Icema Gayle usually brought my Mom down in a wheelchair to window visit with us. They both were very helpful & kind to us & my Mom . We (14 of us) LOVE AVANTE !!!

Experiencia positiva: As I was just visiting a loved one, It was time for me to leave. It was a busy morning and I did not even have my first cup of coffee. As I was entering the elevator, I met a young woman named Minouche Valeus. I was just reminding myself how wonderful a cup of coffee would be. Minouche was just rolling her cart with hot coffee, creme, and sugar. However, as I was thinking out loud how I can't wait to enjoy my first cup, she offered. I told her thank you, but I was leaving and I did not want to take her cup. As the elevator was about to close, she said, one moment. This sweet, pleasant employee quickly ran out and came back within seconds with a Styrofoam cup. She warmed my heart and made my week. It was a rough week, but Minouche Valeus made an impact with such a selfless act. What a beautiful name for such a beautiful individual. Build your employees by recognizing them when they deserve it. It means so much.

Experiencia fantástica: My Uncle is currently being cared for at Avante and I've been very happy with the staff. For example, they have frequent calls with me (live in Boston) to update me on his status. They're very responsive as well and have taken great care of him.

Experiencia fantástica: We chose to bring my mother here because of their accelerated rehab program for both physical and pulmonology issues and the staff and doctors did an amazing job! She is home and thriving and I am so grateful we made the decision to bring her to Avante at Boca. My family and I spent most of the day with her and I was impressed by the work of all the therapists, nurses and caregivers! Thank you Avante at Boca!
