Experiencia fantástica: I developed a torn left rotator cuff tear which causes me terrible pain and a significant loss of motion I went to my local rheumatologist who took X-rays and injected me with a steroid /Novocain mixture, which did not help I was placed on a large number of oral steroids, again without any help I got an MRI which showed a severe tear in the left rotator cuff Thinking that I did not want to have a frozen shoulder I went to the world renowned shoulder specialist, Dr. Jonathan Levy where under ultrasound I was given a shot and referred to a pt who special in shoulders a Chris Toomey Well I'm amazed that by the second treatment, I had recovered 75% of my range of motion, and the pain was almost finished By the time I was discharged after 5 weeks, I was completely free of pain, and I had a full range of motion Chris Toomey is the person to go to to avoid surgery

Experiencia fantástica: Scott Lant is the best therapist I've ever worked with during the past 8 years I've been in and out of physical therapy. His empathy, caring, warmth, skill and knowledge are outstanding. At times when I felt discouraged by what I perceived as a lack of progress he proceeded to point out to me all the progress I actually made in terms of completing exercises I was previously unable to do and increasing my range of motion. Also his tastes in music are impeccable.

Experiencia fantástica: On Feb 8th I sprained my right ankle. I saw my orthopedist and he wanted me to go to physical therapy. I personally love going to physical therapy, they always show you ways to improve your body mechanics. At Select Physical therapy they are very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and understanding. Select physical therapy takes the time to understand how your injury happened, they set a plan to help you improve your mobility, and they even will print out exercises for you to do at home. Every session they have me do different exercises to help limber up my ankle and after all exercises are complete they ice my foot while elevating it. I always leave with my ankle feeling better and better. However, I do k law with my sprain that I have limitations so I don’t push past those limitations. I also enjoy working out so I asked if I was allowed to do certain exercises in the gym. Instead of the staff just saying sure you can. They asked me what exercises and had me to do them at physical therapy to make sure I was doing them correctly and to make sure it wasn’t causing any pain. If I have any other injuries that require physical therapy this will be the only place I return to! Thank you for all you’ve done for my husband (he broke his hip) and for me with my sprained ankle.

They dont just tell you what to do and then walk away they make efforts to get to know you. The staff at Select Physical Therapy make PT enjoyable at least as enjoyable as PT can be lol

Chris Toomey is one of a kind, years ago he identified symptoms in me that ended up being a malignant tumor in my back, I always say “he saved my life” He is caring competent and concerned. Chris is also very patient! His staff Maria is outstanding at her profession as well. Joan the office coordinator, has great costumer service skills . They all worked as a team on your behalf. I have been their patient a few times as well as my husband. That is the place for us!
