They've helped with not only exercises and therapy to do at home, work done in the office, and being able to help talk through some solutions for making everyday life more comfortable, but also we've workshopped how to avoid some triggers that set off pain. They have also been wonderful about respecting space, pronouns, and feeling safe in their environment which we all know can be an uncomfortable thing. Thanks for all the help!

Over many years and many practitioners in my attempt to find best health and function, most practitioners look at everything except the pelvic structures because it is complex, hard to understand, and hard to access. Thea was able to answer all of my questions related to my pelvic floor issues and patiently worked with me to resolve the pain I was experiencing. I honestly didn't think I could be healed after suffering for three years. But I did heal! And now I can eat and drink foods that use to upset me. I can go to bed without feeling like my bladder might explode during the night. I have a higher range of motion for dancing and practicing yoga. It's all thanks to the life-changing results of pelvic therapy. Doctors couldn't diagnose anything that was wrong with me. Luckily my acupuncturist recommended this place. Experiencia fantástica: After being devastated from being diagnosed with Prostate cancer and going through a radical prostatectomy I was left with a few sheets of paper instructions from my surgeons office on how to be recover from the effects of surgery. My incontinence was terrible and getting worse as I followed the do as many kegels instructions. I was able to find Pelvic Therapy Specialists and was quickly diagnosed that I was doing completely the opposite required to treat my incontinence. I was very impressed at how thorough the examination was and the specific exercises given to me for my personal situation. I quickly improved and was able to fly to my Mother's 90th birthday celebration. I had cancelled my flights due to my anticipated embarrassing events that would take place. Now I lead a very normal active life being able to lift weights, ski, and do all activities without worrying about incontinence. The comforting care I received from Molly was incredible. She not only knew what I was going through but also took time to listen to my struggles and give very positive feedback. This help in mental recovery was a huge added bonus. I can't reccommend Pelvic Therapy enough for prostatectomy patients. I had never heard of this treatment before I needed it. I wish more surgeons knew better about post rehabilitation. Experiencia fantástica: I was pretty nervous when I met with Becca. I had never heard of pelican therapy and wasn’t sure how it would work or help me. Becca was great. She answered a lot of questions and explained in detail what I could expect before and after my upcoming surgery. She made me feel comfortable and was very empathetic to my condition/situation. She even shared some of her own personal experiences which made me feel a lot less uncomfortable talking about my situation. She explained in detail what my my exam was going to be like and then also what kind of exercises I needed to do to help prepare for surgery and also to help speed up my recovery. Experiencia fantástica: I only regret I didn’t go to PTS sooner… I have been in pain (tolerable but I was scared of being checked due to my labor experience…) for a year with stress, which almost caused depression. Thea (hopefully I remember her name right) was kind and friendly who made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Honestly, I only went to one appointment, and I feel so much different already. She definitely helped me with the fear as well. Molly was very nice helped me with schedule as well! I recommend anybody especially mamas, to give it a try if you are in pain from labor.

I had no idea what felt like a strained hip flexor could possibly be related to childbirth or a pelvic floor injury. I'm endlessly thankful I mentioned something to my OBGYN because she did a pelvic exam and referred me to Pelvic Therapy Specialists. (There's no way a traditional PT could have been as effective with my chronic pain, which is exactly where I was headed....whew!) Moms experience so much change in their abdomen from pregnancy to birth to postpartum, I wish there was more awareness about this type of care and how helpful it can be for overall feminine wellness. Experiencia fantástica: I've suffered with urine urgency for 20 years and more recently bowel urgency. I finally went to a OBGYN who specializes in bladder issues. She prescribed Physical Therapy and pills. The pills did not work for me as I had bad reaction so I'm doing the the therapy. I happen to be visiting Boulder for 4 months so Pelvic Therapy Specialists was recommended and I'm so glad I decided to go. I'm working with Becca and she is a great listener on this sensitive issue. She has given me some tools on how to use my body to reduce my problem. I'm not finished yet, but I'm very encouraged.

I have been treated with bladder instillations, medication, and even a procedure to stretch my bladder and nothing was more effective than ONE single treatment with Virginia! It’s obviously an unusual type of PT and Virginia was incredibly kind and empathetic and put me at ease immediately. I am so encouraged and hopeful that I can finally stop living in fear wondering if I’m going to wakeup with horrible bladder pain, be able to go on a simple walk with my dogs without that horrible urgent need to urinate, and making sure there is an available restroom when I need one! Experiencia fantástica: Tori is the BEST!! Been going to doctors and "specialists" for YEARS, been put on all kinds of BS medication, undergone surgeries, and endured bladder-pain for way too long. Tori has been the only human being that has truly improved my health. She is so easy to talk to and work with. She makes what can seem like an awkward invasive treatment, feel like a visit with a friend that truly, truly listens and wants you to feel your best. She thinks outside the box, which lets face it is rarely the case with heath care professionals. If I could rate this place 10 stars I would.

Ive seen a couple of family doctors about the issue and even an orthopedic specialist, but was met shrugs and temporary solutions. I was recommend to PTS and I’ve never had a better medical office experience! The receptionist Kelsey is so professional and friendly and always helps me find appointments that fit my weird schedule. I’ve seen two therapists here, the first one retired but gave me very empathetic and knowledgeable care. I now see Molly and I’ve learned so much about anatomy, my specific situation, and how my daily habits affect my pain! Though my experiences I can tell Pelvic Therapy Specialists only employs the friendly and knowledgeable people. If you are frustrated with with pain no other doctors seem willing/able to address, these folks might be able to help you.

Experiencia fantástica: Bettina Willuhn, PA-C, at Boulder Medical Center, recommended I see Pelvic Therapy Specialists, after years of having pain in my left abdomen. The professionals at PTS were accommodating, enthusiastic, and in three visits my tight ligament, which had caused the pain, was resolved. I still perform the exercises recommended, and remain pain free. Highly recommend this knowledgeable, professional staff.

I am an endurance athlete and over the years I have over-tightened my pelvic floor muscles and began experiencing severe pain as a result. I had no idea what was going on. After several visits to a Urologist and several (unfortunate) rounds of antibiotics later, I discovered The Pelvic Therapy Specialists. The staff here is great to work with, they truly care about their patients. They definitely had the knowledge and skill to help me get my chronic pelvic pain into remission. I can't thank them enough!
