Experiencia fantástica: I started my journey with Gaspar DPT almost 9 years ago due to an ankle injury. It took some time, hard work and patience and what helped the most was the therapist that I was asigned at that time . It was Philip Demoss and he is still today after several tendonitis, one hip replacement, knee and neck problems the person that I trust to get well again every time. I recommended him to my friends and everybody cannot be more pleased. Also the whole team and aids are very good and empathetic and will try their best to make you feel confortable. When you are in pain there is nothing more important that a caring team and that is what I feel every time I have to go.

All the therapists are very knowledgeable and caring, and the aides that show you the exercises are very patient. The atmosphere is fun but professional. I've been seeing Erika as my therapist and she has been amazing to work with. Everytime I see her she will ask me how my injury has been doing and she genuinely wants to help me get better. I have worked with Robert also and he was awesome to work with. He was able to feel what was wrong and gave me tips on what to do at home along with my exercises. The aides are great and do a great job showing how to do the exercises. Kris, Yusef, Ranier and Robby are all fun to work with and know what they are doing when it comes to the exercises. They make sure I am using proper form and explain what parts of my body each exercise is meant to strengthen. I highly recommend this location.

I've had several different shoulder issues from a lifetime of competitive swimming, and Philip DeMoss has helped me quickly recover from these issues on several occasions. He has taken a whole body approach and looked at how weaknesses or compensation patterns throughout my body have contributed to my shoulder injuries.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been seeing a PT at Gaspar named Valentine Ngo. I have had migraine headaches for 17 years /after a spinal fusion. I have had numerous procedures done on my neck. Nothing has worked. Valentine has massaged once a week and had me do neck exercises twice a day at home. My headaches are getting further apart. I am able to feel better just by doing the exercises now. I am so thankful since I have tried so many other remidies.

After seeing Julie for several weeks, she was able to help me get to the point where my range of motion was just about fully restored. Julie was very patient during our appointments. She also did a great job of explaining exercises/reasons for the exercises to help me grasp the concepts a little better. She is super fun and engaging, and that helped me to look forward to my appointments. She came with a high recommendation from my doctor, and I would echo that recommendation 100%. The office staff was also very friendly and easy to work with. There were multiple instances where they went above and beyond to try and work with my schedule, and I really appreciated that. Thank you, Gaspar!!

Experiencia fantástica: As a retired firefighter, Gaspar (Coastal Carlsbad) is my “go-to” for all my injuries. The entire staff are knowledgeable, professional, friendly. Specifically, Jen and Kate keep me in the Active lifestyle I was hoping to experience in retirement. (surfing, hiking, etc). Both of these ladies are amazing at making high end kinesiology very practical and doable. Further, they are both gifted at seeing patients as a person, not a number, or just an appointment. They know when to push, when to bring it down a notch, and how to impart hope. There are many PT facilities much closer to my house, however Gaspar coastal is worth the drive. Experiencia fantástica: Ryan and Kate were amazing. I came in after rotator cuff surgery with a severely frozen shoulder. Ryan worked with me on increasing range of motion. I was there 3 times a week and did the stretching exercises he gave me at home every day. He is so good at what he does!! After 2 months I also started working with Kate, who helped me with breathing techniques to help get through the intense pain of releasing the frozen shoulder during PT. She also did massage to release the knots I couldn’t reach. This helped me to achieve better range of motion during PT. The encouragement she provided was such a valuable positive reinforcement to the overall healing process. Sometimes you feel like you’ll never get rid of the chronic pain and it helps to be mentally cheered on! Ryan as well let me know when I was improving and took regular measurements of my progress. All the staff working there that assist Ryan and Kate are very nice and knowledgeable. They helped me with onsite exercise execution. Kevin and Reiner worked with me the most and both were great!! The atmosphere is positive as well. I loved Aloha Friday . The staff at the front desk are helpful and really nice also. I have had a great deal of PT in my lifetime, so I am well-versed on what the scale of a good to poor PT should be. Brian Stone, hands down, is the BEST PT I have ever met or worked with! The entire package is there with him; the clinical analysis, the caring bedside manner, the amazing education, the prescription, and he is a consummate professional! I cannot stress enough how underrated some of these components are! They are critical to the patient, and it is a very rare experience, indeed, to experience all of them in one PT!

Experiencia fantástica: The location is convenient. They have a professional, friendly and engaged staff. My therapist evaluated my physical issues and concerns. She then developed a flexible plan to achieve physical strength, flexibility and pain reduction. An experienced therapist is with me, coaching and encouraging me during the entire session. I found this personal interaction to be very helpful, assuring the exercise is done correctly and maximizing its benefit. I’m not there yet, but after only 3 sessions, I’m experiencing improvement in balance and strength ... this is faster than I’d hoped. And for that, I’m a grateful & happy camper.

Having a multi ligament knee tear- I thought id never have full functionality again but Ryan Paik was incredible and has gotten me back to ski shape! I can not stress this enough come put in the work at PT and they will be here every step of the way for you.

Experiencia negativa: I had a very bad experience of having physical therapy with Kristi Lupinetti last 2 times. She hardly paid any attention to me. I saw different people who came later and she was helping them. I think I was discriminated because I'm a senior citizen and immigrant. She takes her lunch break and schedules people during that time. The assistant Jesus tried to help me but Christi didn't even try to tell him what to do. I'm really disappointed with this office and the way I was treated. I will never go to any Gaspar's offices and I would never recommend it to other people. Even one star is a lot for this disservice.

The Front Office Staff and assistants were always courteous and responsive. This facility always has a number of local college interns and they were all well trained. Thanks to Ryan Paik, PT, DPT, OCS and Kate Clements, PTA, RYT 200 for their attention to my surgeons directions, my various personal needs and for delivering the best recovery outcomes possible for me. I highly recommended this facility for Physical Therapy sessions!

Experiencia fantástica: I randomly chose Gaspar PT (Carlsbad location) from a list of PT clinics my surgeon gave me after finishing L4-L5 disc surgery. The reviews were good, but so were the reviews for many other PT locations, so I just chose one close to home. When I came in for my first assessment, I was in pretty bad shape, both physically and psychologically...very concerned that I wouldn't recover based on warnings from my surgeon. Kristi Lupinetti (Dr of PT) did a very thorough assessment of my mobility and strength issues caused by my injury and the resulting nerve damage. After just a few weeks of focused work, the recovery was faster and more dramatic than I expected. I was so happy with the results that I brought my daughter in for some recently diagnosed back issues. Right now, my daughter and I are going in together so Kristi can get her on the right track while I work with Kate Clements (PT). Kate is AWESOME as well. What I love about both Kristi and Kate is how they thoroughly explain the mechanics of the exercises and proper form to achieve maximum benefit. The assistants have been great also, always there to coach me on form, etc. Great staff, great facility, great results. Can't say enough about Kristi and Kate. I'm a huge fan and big believer in the benefits of PT.

I was so happy to see that Gaspar Doctors of Physical Therapy was still on the list of approved providers for my health insurance. Dr. Ryan Palk is a capable and knowledgeable individual who also has a compassionate and caring manner that immediately set me at ease. Experiencia fantástica: Gaspar in Carlsbad is definitely one of the best PT offices I have ever been to. I am no stranger to physical therapy after a horse back riding accident years ago and several other accidents throughout the years. I have personally gone to Ryan Paik for my neck and lower back off and on the past 2 years and he has been so helpful in getting me to feel better when no one else could get those results. When you go, ask for him and he will get you back to functioning properly again.
