CORE Orthopaedic Medical Center Physical Therapy: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: 10/10 Susie is the best and the staff is great. I tried another PT spot through my insurance, and it wasn’t even comparable! Can’t wait for my healing journey from an ACL surgery
Experiencia fantástica: I had my physical therapy here after my total hip replacement. The facility is large, clean and the staff is super friendly. Lots of parking and they stick to their time schedule. My appointments alway started on time and I never felt rushed during my time there. I worked mainly with Chris and Lori. Both awesome therapist! They got me moving again! The assistants Blanca, Brendon and Carter helped me with my exercises and all are friendly and encouraging. I enjoyed the atmosphere at the facility. When the time comes and I need physical therapy, this is where I'll go.
Experiencia fantástica: Great teamwork at this place, they seem to truly enjoy what they do. Witnessed so many positive interactions between the patients and therapists (and the receptionists are amazing as well). In particular, I would like to highlight one physical therapist, Lori Tinkle, that I worked with. She carefully adhered to the doctor's prescribed plan and listened to my concerns, and I always left there feeling good about my progress... Her ability to discern the right course of action (based on her knowledge and her ability to "read" patients) was excellent. Very happy with the outcome!!
Experiencia fantástica: If you are looking for professionalism, time “worked” on you (versus you sitting on a machine), having your questions answered as if you were in an great anatomy class, happy staff in an impeccably organized and efficient setting, going home with a fabulous app that assists with home-exercises, then CORE in Encinitas is for you. And if you are extra lucky, you could get Pam, “the boss,” who works miracles with her hands and who has trained her disciples to be as good as herself.
Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to CORE Physical Therapy in Encinitas since early April when I began my recovery from a fractured patella (kneecap). In the beginning, I thought they were great. But, as my recovery progressed, I knew I'd want to switch somewhere closer to where I live in Oceanside, especially since I wasn't able to drive myself at that time. I visited Scripps PT in Vista, and the people were so nice, but their services were night and day from CORE. I went twice, and when my 2nd visit was only 20 minutes, I knew that driving to CORE was well-worth the time and trouble! Three months later and I am still super impressed with CORE. I am there an hour to an hour and half every time. My PT, Susie, spends at least 30 minutes manipulating and working with my knee. She is very creative and tries lots of new things and techniques. Then I spend at least 30 minutes doing exercises supervised by their amazing techs...Blanca is wonderful!!! These exercises have also been varied and are things I couldn't easily do at home. At the end of each visit, e-stim and ice therapy before leaving. I have also seen Pam and Lori and they are both super knowledgeable and skilled therapists; and I've had plenty of time to watch Winston and Chris in action and can see they are also awesome! These therapists really care about helping with whatever they can to help you get back to a better life. They explain underlying reasons for things and really listen to what you say. They are truly tuned in to each patient's situation and seek to do all they can to help. I had no idea how much variation there could be between PT centers. Trust me, CORE is the place to go, no matter what you need!!! I am recruiting a friend from Orange County to driving down because I think they are worth it. They are extraordinary!!!!
Experiencia fantástica: I love this Place! The therapists actually spend the entire hour with you and don't pawn you off to someone else after 15 minutes like a lot of other places do. The facility is clean and it feels welcoming due to all the therapists and receptions being so friendly. Pam Cloud is an extremely knowledgeable therapist and actually truly cares about getting you better. I cried the first time I met her because I finally felt seen and heard by someone. I have a chronic nerve issue stemming from right side of my neck all down my shoulder and into my hand. My quality of life has drastically changed as nerve pain is incredibly painful and almost unbearable at times. It was so sensitive I could barely be touched. Pam helped to calm it down and make life more bearable. She is experienced in cupping as well and helped to loosen up areas in my back that were contributing to the nerve pain. I have also seen her for other issues regarding pain in my lower back, my ankle and my foot. I played basketball in college and have continued to play sports and maintain a very active lifestyle. I started having chronic issues that forced me to start seeing a physical therapist as the things I was doing to get by no longer worked. I wish I would have gone into PT sooner and dealt with some of the aches and pains then as I think I may not have the issues Im having today if I did. I would highly recommend Core Orthopaedic Medical Center to any and all who are suffering from chronic pain or have had an injury or surgery. I see Pam, but I know all the therapist here are wonderful as well. I have witnessed them in action and everyone is kind, knowledgeable and treat their patients with respect. Also, just fyi I think some of the bad reviews this business received possibly came from the fact that their old address was at the Scripps Hospital off Santa Fe and it was confusing and frustrating to get ahold of because the phone number was attached to the hospital. Messages, appointments and billing would get lost in the mix. It had nothing to do with the competency of the therapists. The new location on Encinitas Blvd will help address this issue and get rid of the confusion. Yaaaaaaaaay :)
Experiencia positiva: Visited Core to take care of pain in my elbow. The physician diagnosed a tear in a tendon. Prescribed PT. No surgery or injections. The therapist was helpful and pleasant and the sessions went well, but there was minimal relief after 6 weeks. The main reason for the low rating is because of the billing nightmare that I experienced with Core. I received, and paid for, an arm band at the first office visit. Three weeks later I got a bill that charged me again for the brace and also double billed me for several therapy procedures. The communication with their billing representative was horrible. Calls and messages to their office went unanswered and unreturned. Weeks later, I received a final bill with the disputed charges removed. No call back, explanation or apology. Overall, a mediocre experience at best.
Experiencia positiva: Very nice location and staff therapists of Susie, Winston and Karl. All are very good.
Experiencia fantástica: Nice office, friendly staff, Karl is a great therapist, highly endorse
Experiencia fantástica: The staff is kind, engaged, and knowledgeable. Thanks Winston and company!
